- Boyhood Celtic supporter Callum McGregor's dreams came true in the Scottish Cup Final when he rattled home the opener and Olivier Ntcham notched from outside the box to score the second.
These are the days to be savoured, always. I grew up during Rangers' 9 in a row era and it was painful to say the least. I take nothing for granted. Credit has to go to the manager and the team. We weren't at our best this season, but we showed up in the big games when it mattered.
Yeah, I started going to the games with my old man in '96 when I was just starting school. So many bad memories, but good memories at the same time.

Come on Celtic fans it's not rocket science, you think you are champions because your team is so great ? You only have to look at the financial back up of the other teams to realize where your trophies are coming from. It's like McDonalds v Tams square sausage van. I congratulate Celtic they are a good team but don't let it go any higher than your collar bone and into your brain. European football will kick you in the backside again soon enough. The SPL is a shambles at the best of times however it's a great place for managers outside the old firm to prove their skills. I hate all that YEAH we won the one horse race crap. I've got plenty mates who are Celtic fans that say the same, the SPL is becoming very boring and predictable.

Stephen Wilson Check the league table pal. Only a 9 point gap between first and second. A 15 point gap between 1st and 4th. The competition for second place went right up until the final game of the season when 3 teams couldn’t have finished second. Unlike the premier league where City beat second place with like a 20+ point gap.

Genuine question. Was the same being said about the Rangers team in the 90's when they were spending more money than everyone else? When they won 9 in a row?
Seamy Bob fantastic point, it's all the same clubs who are here now (except rangers) yet it was seen as an incredible dominance in the 90s for the old rangers.

When Rangers did badly such as lose to AEK Athens the interview with the Rangers manager Walter Smith after it was censored for 17 years. In his second spell at Rangers they lost a Champions League game 4-1 at home and the Scottish journalists did not ask any questions at all at the press conference after it. There were some journalists like the Celtic fan Gerry McNee who wanted a new board of directors at Celtic so they could challenge Rangers. When Celtic are successful the media responds by linking their manager or their best players with English clubs. I don't remember journalists in general saying it was bad for Scottish football Rangers dominating during the 1990s I think because Rangers represent the largest ethnic group in Scotland.
