Hey, ALF, i might consider buying this set in future since i didn't get the original back in 2011.The original featured Kai, Zane, Nya, Master Wu, Lord Garmadon, Kruncha and the rarest skeleton minifigure:Samukai. I saw a chinese version of the set and i will check if i can afford to buy it. But now i guess i'd buy the attack of the Morro's dragon!
As much as a lot of Legacy designs are superior, they just don’t give off the old feel of Ninjago :/ I stopped caring for it after season 2 stopped airing and the sets for that season stopped being on shelves. The old dragon head molds were way more similar to what you saw in the show, this new one still looks like the fire dragon, and I definitely prefer that it doesn’t have the fire ball in his mouth. Btw, I think it’s very lame that they use more modern style hoods for the older sets they remade. It might just be me having grown up with the pilot and season 1 and 2 head pieces, but the hoods when the movie released and after kinda sucked imo.
I wanted this set as soon as I saw the promo pics, but now I REALLY want it Only thing I might change is add a ball joint for the shoulders instead of ratchet joints for more articulation and maybe an ankle joint. Other than that, stellar set and huge improvement over the original. Can't wait for August 1st

In some cases old is better than new but not in this case this is one of the most amazing sets ever released
