Hi DerelicEarth, actually their purpose is different: on the Live you can plug an amplifier or a line level product, on a VM-202 you plug a preamp (line level and digital only). The VM-202is stereo, the Live is mono, there are a lot of differences, you should check our comparison chart on the Two Notes website.
No wall wart on the series, this one on the video is a prototype. Jack output is balanced so if you need XLR, well, you should buy/build the right cable or an adapter. ;)
thx for clearing that up twonotes. i was trying to get a demo unit sent to me from a dealer in canada but they never followed through with sending one. i am still very interested in trying this out.
WOW the kick drum just blew my face... and now my hair looks like I took it from the singer from Static X :D Great sound, and pretty good riffage! Liked
Hi TomWeeks328, you need an audio interface if you want to record. The USB connection on the TORPEDO Live is here to manage its internal memory (adding new cabs or IRs, firmware upgrade, creating presets).
You are right, we are based in France. Please contact us on our help desk (go to our website then search for support/contact, I can't put a direct link here) so we can point you to the right place to buy the product. As we don't know where you are based it is not easy to answer. ;)
If you have an amp with in/out send fx you can make a trick to send the signal to your interface and load some impulses. I think that the quality its not the same and its better the torpedo. Good piece of equipment.
Awesome sound, I'm GASing like crazy for a Torpedo but I would like to know if there is a huge difference between the live and the VM-202 soundwise ...
sorry my question is not related to this high technology piece of equipment and amazing guitar tone is it real drum recording or any kind of plugin? im not joking this is the best bass drum i ever heard.
I dont want to hijack the conversation and I'm sorry for the intrusion :) I'm really close on pulling the trigger on the torpedo live. I've heard you guys are a french-based company. Could I buy the torpedo live cheaper from france? Thank you for your time :)

Sympa les riffs! Sans parler du son. J'ai vraiment envie d'acheter cette petite merveille :-)
Guitars sound great. But, oh man, those drums!! Love it

What would you like to know exactly?
Offtopic, but really nice drum sounding, amazing!
That is a beautiful guitar and I have no clue what it is! Could you fill me in on it's name/specs?
Heavy sound!! I wonder, which cab and which mic did you use?. Im new to the Torpedo live and wants some hints :)
Hello! very cool sound!
I sound producer from Russia.
Please tell me what you used on samples of audio?
The guitar is a custom made by Xavier Petit. Seems like a Ken Lawrence 7 string explorer clone.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECORD VIA USB? OR DO YOU HAVE TO STILL USE A INTERFACE/SOUND CARD?
you know its good metal when simpsons socks are involved.
interesting picking technique.
