I think if youre saying that your second throat bass type which is “tighter” is the same throat bass Marcus Perez uses, this is not the same bass as Slizzer bass. Slizzer bass is like a really constructed version of vocalized chest bass that ends up activating the throat bass components, the false folds and arrytenoid cartilage. The Marcus Perez tighter throat bass just does not have the whisper-y texture of the codfish variant of throat bass. This plus the fact of more force Involved are what give it the more solid tone and thicker texture. However, Marcus Perez and codfish both use variants of regular throat bass. Slizzer bass is a slightly different bass than standard throat bass, so neither Marcus Perez nor codfish use Slizzer bass, they just use the standard and whisper-y variants of throat bass. Slizzer uses a hybrid of vocalized chest bass and throat bass for his bass, just wanted to clear up any confusion you or any of your viewers may have with watching this video and the names of basses used here!
on slizzer the position of the head is as if you are trying to smell something, the nose and chin are raised and the vibratio point is lowered under the throat as low as possible. Another new school sometimes falls out of me but it has to be practiced xDD ... excellently explained. ! ....! 👍
nice tutorial for the vibration i literally did it right away just gotta practice now, but doing it for even a second fks up my throat so i cant really practice it that much
So funny. I literally exercised my vibration bass the whole time thinking it was my throat bass (and it just sounds very weird). I also could only talk very hard during the supposed throat bass, which shouldn't be that hard i guess. The vibration bass I can now reasonably well. But your video showed me the throat bass for the first time (and I actually got it down very quickly, because the "vibrate" or "scratch" is pretty much the same concept on both basses). Thank you very much! :)
I dont know if there is such a bass, but I found that combining the throat bass with nasal bass makes it even lower. just try throat bass, get it close to vibration bass (but dont commit) and then put nasalbass trough it. Believe me, it will work and it will make it sound quite good for a throat bass
Great tutorial bro I love the time you took to give us the details, it really helped me level up my vibration and throat bass! One correction though, Slizzer bass IS related to throat bass but I would actually say what makes it different is that it’s actually a vocalized chest bass-throat bass hybrid. The reason is because I’ve come to understand after learning this myself and having many conversations with other beatboxers, that if you pressurize vocalized chest bass (which is caused by the epiglottis and true vocal chords) sufficiently, it will eventually “automatically”activate the false vocal chords and arrytenoid cartilages (the anatomical components that cause throat bass to happen) to vibrate alongside them too, which causes the Slizzer bass to happen. So yes, it is related to both the throat bass and vocalized chest bass as it essentially is both happening at the same time, (you can verify this by performing throat bass and then Slizzer bass and noticing how the vibration happens around the same place on your throat, around your Adam’s Apple area, instead of above the Adam’s apple, which is where the chest bass happens), however, I still would say it more lies near the vocalized chest bass family part of the spectrum because you achieve it through vocalized chest bass first, not through throat bass, even though the throat bass’ characteristic components are activated during this bass, they are not the default structure that is being used. Sorry for the long comment but hopefully this clears up any confusion! I appreciate you using your platform to spread the knowledge and empowerment bro🙏🙏
Thank you so much for making tutorials. Btw you said Big Ben has a variation of throat bass. But what Big Ben does is called Deep bass. You can see It at bazilio or redrums too.
Thanks It Really Helps I Like Your Details It So Much Easy But The Vibration Bass It Really Hard To Control Many Beatboxers Said That Vibration Bass is Very Low And The Other Way is You Prolong The Vibration Or You Relaxed Your Throat Because Once You Rellaxed Your Throat The More Strong Of The Vibration Will Vibrate 😁BTW im From PHILIPPINES I Got Many Bass 1.Vocal Bass 2.Chest Bass 3.Slizzer Bass 4.Throat Bass 5.Inward Bass Im 15 Years Old And My Name is Call Fx

Tks for the vid I got my throat hurt yesterday... and i think one of the things was those basses. I still dont know very well wich one i have but know i can understand more about them! Maybe I will pull the vibration too, would be sick! Do u do lessons man? Or just a litte jam? Would help!! Much love🇧🇷💚👊
I can do both, but i having a problem with Vibration bass , i can't stay longer with vibration bass , thanks for the Tutorial Antilt, sorry for my bad english
Actually i got vibration bass at the first tries like self-explanatory i guess i was one of the lucky ones But whenever i try throat bass i just get vibration bass :(
Yea me too. I would’ve thought I was a prodigy if it didn’t take me months to learn inward bass and still don’t know to liproll ( only know 2 variations, teeth liproll and some unclean one). Like he said, vibration bass is the one with the throat going lower, so for throat bass you just have to cough longer or just bring your throat more up when you do throat bass. Hope this helps you to voluntarily control vibration and throat bass :)
@@mrbetboxer7551 thank you bro The beatbox community is so nice! I recently mastered the liproll but it it's so weird to explain it's an advanced sound i suggest that you watch antilts tutorial I didn't learn it from there but it seems like a really good explanation I learned the liproll from D-lows tutorial something clicked and i got it back then Have a great day mate!
What if I did the opposite? I learned vibration first, and I can do it non stop. But throat bass kills me, I start hacking and coughing after like 5 seconds 😂
Yeah, both Benja and slizzer bass are really similar basses and they are both vocalized chest bass variations that also activate the parts of your throat used in the throat bass. I also have this problem
I don't get the fact that I can do a clean vibration bass but I can't do any type of throat bass 😑 , whenever I try to do the throat bass I get a chest bass but a tighter version
My first bass wars throat Bass and I switched after some weeks to vibration bass and after a year I have a clean vibration bass but it's hard for me to do a throat Bass 😅

Codfish throat bass is a just a VERY CLEAN throat bass

You got sick vibration too😱

No Big Ben uses vocalized chest bass for his low/deep bass. Bazilio’s bass is a certain variation of vibration bass

I don’t get it everything I go in the electro bass
i accidently did nasal bass💀

Throat Bass is for me more harder than vibration bass
Just gonna say this now, The bass that you are calling “codfish’s throat bass” IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO HIS THROAT BASS
