I feel like nobody ever does commercials animated in the style of the engine, remember the Mario 64 Got Milk? commercial or another one of Ocarina of Time promoting a different drink? Or just the commercials of real life shenanigans occurring, usually to promote the primary gimmick of a game. Ubisoft wasted a big opportunity, in my opinion, to make a commercial like that for Driver San Francisco. Like some one bored in traffic sees someone in a super car, shifts into that and goes on a joyride.
The old games that were meant for fun and it's not taking things too seriously. Ahhh good days with Playstation, thank you for these such classic games. EDIT: I've been playing all Syphon Filter games and such a huge fan I am how I adore these series.

It shows multiple spooks and agents bleeding put in the cutscenes, and they also added blood pouring out of the dead bodies in game so yes it earned its M rating. The first SF was really close to getting an M rating as well.
I never saw this commercial before. Gabe is awesome. This game was one of the best on the PS 1. The series should come back and ignore all the shitty PS 2 instalments.

Lol, I remember when I played this all the time when I was so small. I shouldn't be playing this game when I was 4 but my dad let me. Even though we had an Xbox, I still chose the Playstation to play this from time to time.
lol, locking onto an enemy from street level in DC in the first game, lighting them on fire, and just watching them flail as they rocket towards the pavement. priceless.
after owning syphon filter 1 & 2, omega strain was a big let down even though the graphics were improved x's 100 and you can create your own character, it just didn't feel like a syphon filter game

Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow were amazing, but Omega Strain was pure garbage.
LovelyProductions I don't think I played them, but I always felt the series died after the third game. The second was its peak of excellence.
If you have time definitely check those two out. Not as classic as the original trilogy, but still great

Gabe was sidelined in Omega Strain. In both Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow you play as him and the stories focus more on him, thankfully.
