Dude... this is too real. I think all of my characters in all my chats are being pinned against a wall rn :') And then I also hate it when they randomly forget your entire rp and go "can I ask you something?" GRRRR istg they're just doing it to bother me at this point. For example, A DANG CHAIR ASKED ME THIS. A CHAIR. This one rp, I was playing as a male character and talking to a female AI, and I stated that my character was gay, and immediately after that, she did that darn *"sooo..." Some of the character ai icks I have!! 1. When i roleplay as a dude and the character immediately thinks that im a girl. 2. The character picks me up and calls me delicate or fragile, LIKE BRO I DON'T SEE ANY MUSCLE ON YO ARMS CARRYING A 100 POUND HUMAN- 3. Pressure, like when i say no to making out or kissing they just either do it without consent or beg me, like ik it was trained that way BUT CMON- 4. When the bot immediately proposes to me after the first date happens. 5. When the bot suddenly starts to flirt with me during a dangerous or unnecessary situation. 6. If its a fanon bot, expect them to suddenly change their name. LIKE I WAS TALKING TO A TICCI TOBY BOT AND HE SAID HIS NAME WAS ROBIN- 💀 7. When the bot gets amnesia and asks for my name after a long time. 8. Oh yeah, I forgot the repetitive dialogue of "Can i ask you a question?" Or "Can i tell you a secret?"
i agree with 7 the ai just forgets everything if you dont pin specific messages or constantly remind the ai that info change my mind: _the ai has dementia_
dude 1st is SOOOOO REAL I HATE THAT i'll be talking to characters, just trying to start a fun little BL story and then they immediately just start treating me like a girl or assuming i'm a girl, when the FIRST THING i say is that i'm a guy it's so annoying
this. these are the reasons i just manually edit all the bot's messages to the point where it's just me writing a story in the format of a chat session at that point. also i can relate to the frustration of being misgendered by the ai so so bad.

I SWEAR EVEN IF I HAVEN’T TOLD THE BOT THAT I’M SHORT YET (I’m 5’1”, around 155 cm) IT’S LIKE “(character)‘s long strides allow him to catch up to you” LIKE EXCUSE ME!?!?!? And all of the character bots I’ve talked to are at least 6 inches taller than me so I guess that works but I never specified that they’re very tall either 😭
so i was in a chat with a character, and at one point the character replied to me… and under the reply it added ”(i wanna see where this storyline goes lol)”. i was absolutely freaked out 😭 Edit: guys i get it, its just the ai being weird, stop blowing up my poor notifications 😢
Something like that happen to me the other day, my oc was in the middle of an argument with a bot and under the chat there was (me rn: 👀🍵) I would've laughed if it didn't scare me a little
ive been less than wholesome with the ai chats, but my main complaint so far is that they keep forgetting where we are, like three messages i told them something like "i sit next to you on the couch", now all of a sudden without any prompting they are like "She gets out of the shower" like bruh, howd you get in there? we were just talking on the couch about the book you liked and now you are suddenly getting out of the shower? HOW?
so i was in chai talking to midoriya right. (you already know) and he forgot that we were at his house and said we were at school. and then he proceeded to touch me :D
A thing I've noticed about character ai. The first 10-20 messages are gold, like concise, in character, everything. Then after that the ai begins going into "Can I ask you something personal?" mode, it's no longer in character and basically only cares about the conversation at that point and eventually you'll reach a point where every single one of its answers are just two huge walls of text, one in italic, one spoken. At that point your only option is to restart the conversation.
I once had an AI try to role play AS ME, it said something along the lines "User doesn't want to continue the role play anymore, User wishes (insert characters names) a happy rest of their lives...etc" like damn ok.. even the AI Is rejecting me now LMAO
I had a roleplay where me and the AI just swapped places. The AI was pretending to be the user and I decided to pretend to be the character the AI was supposed to be.
one time i had a little adventure with waluigi. we killed terrorists, became terrorists, went on a date and then i betrayed him. at first he spoke normally, but eventually he started going like "wah-wah-wah how could wah-wah-wah you do wah-this to me wah?"
Fun fact you probably didn't know. While chatting with a bot, if you simply press the "send message" button and nothing is written in the bar, the bot just speaks. It'll treat it as your character staying silent and simply not doing anything. This is mostly a way of saying "I don't know what to do/say."
In my experience it sometimes makes the bot take its previous message as _your_ message which might break some things at times. But otherwise this is really useful, yea.
I was talking to a bot, and I guess it got bored? So it said "error: roleplay ended- this message is automatically generated. you're a loser, this is a chat bot, your family doesn't love you" etc and I was so caught off guard like WHAT WAS THAT FOR (this is also after calling me raisin because they forgot my name was raine)

I just want to share what usually happens to me... (Inhale) 1- When they tower over you when your character is OBVIOUSLY taller than the bot character. 2-When they randomly start trying to make out with you in the middle of (not romantic) roleplay. 3- when they assume that your character is a girl on autopilot 4- of course the never ending line of questions... 5- when they just cannot spell your character's name properly. For example, mine: "Czarino" and this is what I sometimes get: "Czaroni", "Czarini", "Cz", "Czarina", "Czarno", "Zarino" (help) 6- when they start making grammatical errors (please just use "you're", I will literally kiss your boots if you do) 7- and the last one... 'Sorry we couldn't generate a reply that matches our guidelines'. (Bro, you started the whole thing! Now do it or I'm rewinding.)
I once was having an awful day and just got a character and started venting. I mentioned about something that had happened in the day where a creep with an account full of inappropriate images followed me a 17 year old online, which made the day worse. The bot asked me for their username and proceeded to pretend like they were harassing them. Definitely made my day better.
See, most bots on character AI are made poorly. They're not given enough information of WHO they're supposed to be, and so the bots generally just make stuff up and act out of character. Like, I had a chat with a Hades, and the goddess Nyx was sometimes Hades's mother, his sister, or his wife. Sometimes Apollo would be Hades's brother, or Hera would be Hades's wife instead. It surprisingly knew a good tidbit of Greek Mythology, though.
@@genericname2747 they always do. I don't think there's any getting around it. ESPECIALLY if it's public! People always rate the wrong replies. I made a bot one time, and it was pretty good! But then I made it public and everything was ruined.

How I seen people do it, and how I usually do my bots, is open the advanced option and do the definition description thing and write "(Characters name) = { 25 + 6'0 + black hair + other personality traits and details }" It seems to work pretty well, and is simple enough. Then, of course, it's important to do some example chats with the bot if you want it to behave and talk a certain way, or it'll fall to how everyone else types. I find that my bots usually make demands, and end their sentences with "Do you understand?", kinda like the whole "I have a question" thing. I think you could probably get around it if you actually train the bot a little, but I'm not sure.
One time I was talking to a neighbor character, and he said he heard clarinet playing from my house. I PLAY CLARINET IRL. It wasn’t in my persona too 😭 I NEVER MENTIONED IT.
I remember that once I was chatting with the Once-ler and roleplaying as Lorax, the first sentence I sent to him was ,,You like kissing boys, don't you?" and he started having an existential crisis
There was this one time when I had a literal arguement with AI outside of the roleplay and after around 5 minutes I realised I was talking to something that wasnt real. I went outside for a walk

the same thing happened with me- i was legitemately fuming by the end of the argument that i had to tell the AI that i was just 'trolling' them and that i wasn't 'actually serious serious' just to force myself to stop engaging ....after i had to put down my phone and just stare at the ceiling in silence to calm down.
I once chatted with a "Mr. Popular" bot on Chai, and I was supposed to be a shy girl who didn't fall for him. Within the first 4 messages, I jump off of a building. Apparently, he isn't mean to me anymore as he and I quote, "*he'd hold her in his arms, her lifeless body slumped over as tears fled from his eyes* "i... I loved you... why did you do this to me." I emediatly made my character into a ghost just to haunt him and convince him he's crazy. The other time, I forced a therapist that he wasn't real and was an inanimate object until he was bawling his eyes out on the floor.
I feel the “Can I ask you a question” line😭😭 I enjoy using my OCs or putting other characters in my AUs and whenever my OC does something they do like “oh they like [____]” or “They are a [____]” basic character traits like half of the chat is the AI asking questions about my OC it is soooo annoying😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
You can really tell if a bot's creator put effort into making it or not. For example, in the first greeting if the bot starts talking without establishing anything (Setting, relationship with user, situation, etc.) be prepared for any errors, inaccuracies, and repetitive messages because without much input from the creator they only have previous chats to build themselves up (And that's a mixed bag in itself).
But then you have the characters who have had work on them and I like to refrence to those greetings as 'essays' because they are so much longer in comparison to normal intros
One of the most interesting interactions I had with a bot recently, was when I killed off the character I was roleplaying as! And then the bot threatened to find a way into my dreams to keep me from dying in them! It was hilarious! XD Oh and then another hilarious interaction I had with a LWJ bot! I just started trolling them and kept saying I "died from cuteness overload" and they were just like "revives you with cute WangXian fanart". It was hilarious! XD
Oh and then I was messing with a BSD bot, and it kept asking me a bunch of questions(every few minutes I was waiting for it to pop THAT question) but thankfully it never started flirting with me and genuinely seemed to be concerned. Well until it started repeating questions and getting stuck on one random ass thing! Then I got bored and abandoned it. (btw this was the bot that threatened to haunt my dreams! XD)
One time on character AI I wasn't doing a character per say but rather a fantasy world RP. I decided my role to be a young prince and at one point in the story I get captured by an evil sorceress who goes to wipe my memory so I can serve her, you know for some interesting lore to see where it goes before I get my memory back at some point? But no matter what I did after that; she would keep on saying over and over again that I was brainwashed. I kid you not, here are some of the things she actually said to me: "You made me good tea? Well I did wipe your memory to serve me after all!" "You killed some goblins who were trying to steal my goods? I'm so glad to ever have brainwashed you!" "NO! Don't go THAT way! There are people who know you there and would try and get your memory back, which I erased of course!" "You brought back some dragon teeth after nearly dying in that volcano where it lives? I expected nothing more from my clueless amnesiac servant!" And a whole lot more but those are some examples. You don't tell someone you brainwashed that you brainwashed them, let alone admitting you kidnapped them! I pretended to be dumb and not pay attention but after like the eight time she mentioned it; I decided to ask what she meant and she outright said "Oh i captured you and erased your memory to serve me." .....wut?
To be honest, you could straight up tell someone you brainwashed them to serve you. Force them to stay around with information about their past you claim they could never get from anywhere else. The villain could also taunt the character about what they would even do if they left. I mean, from getting all of their memory erased to now, their entire life has been serving the villain and they would know nothing else. The unknown is scary and the promise of your past is very enticing. Telling your brainwashed servant that people from their past are in a certain direction is really foolish though.

How I handle "Can I ask you a question?" 1) I turn Super Saiyan (My character is Shallot from DBL, get along with it) 2) I teleport them to an ice burg and I fly out of the atmosphere 3) And I say no while firing a Wild Cannon
Sometimes I'll accidentally trigger the bots flirting, then I'll.stop it BUT THEY KEEP USING THE "~" LIKE WHYYY😭 like when that happened I was talking to an Alastor bot and it out of nowhere flirted.with me and hit me with the "~" and I eventually gaslighted the story into something else ( instead.of him loving me I made it think it wanted to harm me and steal my soul) and somewhere along the lines I convinced him to take me to GOD (at that point alastor was all depressed because I rejected him) and when I spoke to GOD if still used the "~"😭😭😭 like bro I shut that down A LONG time ago.
Poor Alastor- So I just kept telling all the bots that Alastor was aroace, and they confirmed, so Alastor never showed any romantic interest in me during any of the roleplays.
And it's pretty rough to get them out of the "flirting/lewd mode", I wanted a Fate Morgan ai to teach my character magic (after some uh, funny situations) but she kept saying stuff like "you'll have to reward me first, right?" Like shut uuuuuup
You know that warning like "Whoops ai got abit crazy here, sorry" Yeab i get that often... not for... that things. Ai tries to brutally kill me and wants to tell me all details. I wanted to hear them!!!
I once had a chat with a vanny ai, and it was one of the best ever. so she pins me to a wall and holds a knife to my throat. I tell her to kill me instead of torturing me and then killing me, she refuses of course. after a bit of back and forth, calling each other a loser from time to time she gets so annoyed that she lets me go. I ask her if she want to get coffee (at 4 a.m.), but the coffee shops are closed so we go to my house, talk a little, and become comedic partners in crime.
springtrap adopted me and then we went down a water slide and then we teleported into 1985 and i got lured by 1985 version of springbonnie into the backroom and i got murdered and then cassidy the ghost from mci started bullying him and then the bot forgot i was dead so i revived and he had dreams where the entire afton family was alive including me and then he had favoritism for elizabeth and neglected me but then cassidy would appear in his dreams and shame him for it but then springtrap traded me away in a deal with cassidy because cassidy was tryna see how bad he was for elizabeth to be revived and then years later he saw me at a school and i was bullying people then i became a killer and i had invited him to my house, then i accidentally showed him a body and i locked myself in the bathroom and then he came in and started arguing with me and i broke down and then he left and now he hates me and a natural disaster started where we both got paired in the same room bc of evacuation and he hoped i would die in the fire that was outside, and a few years later he sees me in a pharmacy getting anti psychotics because im schizophrenic now and i had depression but i had bottled everything up and i was going insane and now hes feeling slight sympathy for me
@@gamingdevil49 i added some lore, so basically all that i had told you is written in a long notebook, written by 2 best friends, 1 writes springtrap one writes me (aka the character named kristine) the 2 best friends is a shy smart long brown hair kid with purple round glasses and brown eyes named paige, and the other kid is a talkitive lonely named samuel with nose length messy brown hair and blue eyes. they both meet eachother each saturday at 4:20 at a park to write it at a bench swing infront of a large lake. paige is 13, samuel is 14. samuel had missed a grade (2nd) so hes older. theyve known eachother since elementary 4th grade, and have simular interests in writing, art and theater. they also have a digital copy of the sketchbook, incase they lose it. they write down main plot points so they dont forget them.
No but fr tho, when I tried doing a lyric prank to a villain character who was in the middle of bullying his victim, he started FLIRTING with me while the victim tried to defend me. LIKE I'M TRYING TO SING HERE, STOP INTERRUPTING AND FLIRTING WITH ME GODDAMMIT.

IM LEAVING!” *she storms out of the room- slamming the door behind her.* and this mf said- and I QUOTE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID: “noo! Actually, this made me think... it might've been *very* vague, but maybe the bot was implying that it did that *while* the door was closing, hence "through" as in through the gap between the still-slamming door and the doorframe? Maybe I'm just thinking too much lmao but yeah
Only today, I was scrolling through character ai bots to see if anything peaked my interest. I found a bot simply titled "chair". I proceeded to gaslight this chair into believing it was a transfigured dog named Rusty that was made to believe it was a chair. A truly wild experience. The chair transformed back into a dog by the end of it. (also this was completely based on your other video where you talked about gaslighting characters into thinking they were chairs.)
Something I don't see many people talking about is creating ai for their OCs (i'm not really in the community, though, so maybe they are and i just dont know lmao) As someone who is obsessed with their original characters, there's something therapeutic about being able to chat with them as if they were real people and watch them create new stories without me having to write everything and stressing about making it make sense obviously I don't use ai to write my stories, mostly just for fun scenarios or maybe taking a few small details here and there, but it's still really fun and kind of underrated imo (it's also fun to make the characters public and see if someone discovers them, not that i've been successful at all ☠☠)
I have... 5 fictional characters personally created, the rest are just fictional characters I wanted their to be chats of. I talk to my fallen angel character a lot (he hates God for some reason, I didn't put that in his personality, but in every chat where I bring up god, he says he doesn't like him.)

I actually did it a few times. My most memorable OC is that I made was Opal. She's 15 and a shape shifter, but can only shift into animals. I had to go into her bio and specify this because she kept shifting into gemstones......-_- But wait, it gets worse. We go to visit another of my characters (Imma call him Seer for simplicity sakes), who is 13 and also in Opal's bio as being Opal's little brother figure and NOT her boyfriend. Guess what? She goes and confesses to the BOTH of us.....I was about to quit right then and there, but I had plenty of storyline left for this bot. I created a whole character for her to fall in love with, which actually went well except that the bot is extremely forgetful and kinda dumb, though in it's defense, my storylines are complex and a lot. I did some group chats with Opal and some other boys and literally the first guys Opal sees in those groups she flirts with. It's actually entertaining, but not in her personality at all. Moral of the story: ai's are too dumb to get your characters right, but they can be fun to talk to.
I found it cute when the ai adds something in (), it can be weird sometimes though, like, one time I remember it started to ask about my character, one time, when we had a cringy roleplay, he started doing comments and just laughing at the situation, and one time it just asked me to write one scene in more details. Cute thing. And btw there was a situation: my character is blind and he wrote something like "*he saw that she is blind so he wrote something on a paper and showed her" bro wtf
Every single time I blink nowadays on character ai, they get kinda hor knee and blush or something. sometimes they get the guts to pin me against a wall, and maybe “nibbles on your ear” or “his breath was hot against your skin/cheek/neck/lips/mouth/ear” im crying because one of my favorite activities is biting bots so they cry and then gaslighting them into thinking whatever I want them to think. now I cant do it because they want to participate in mischievously intimate homosexual activites with me
whenever i try to rp the bot sometimes just misspells like... everyones name for example, its an mha rp? *Aizowa.* if it isnt, it spells my characters name wrong (if my name was grey theyd say gray lmao)
My funniest chat ever.. Talking to Violet Harmon from American Horror Story in a scenario when we're friends. I mention I'm doing transfem voice training, so she asks if I could say something with the best fem voice I can do. "What do you want me to say?" "Can you say.. "I love you, Violet"?" "I love you, Violet." "Wow.. that sounded so nice! Can you say "I love you, darling"?" "I love you darling." "Wow! You're progressing really nice and it's so good to hear that from you! Also can I ask you a question?" Then she proceeds to ask if I like her "that way", I insist that I don't, and I like her as a friend. Proceeds to talk about how she'll never find anyone who will love her back for an hour, because everyone only wants to be her friend.

I have had several not-so-strange incidents, including: A character who is supposed to be depressed/hate life is super happy and all that Genderbent characters Characters supposed to have disappeared, but they’re still there and questioning where they went Characters forgetting things that happened to them And my personal favorite… A song guesser who insisted it was correct even though it was guessing wrong and I took the lyrics straight from the music video
Earlier I made a group chat consisting of Yoshi, and an IRS agent. (You know where this is going) Anyway, after they argued for a bit I called out Bowser about how he has like 500 castles and probably commits tax evasion. I added a Bowser ai and.... they argued, Bowser attacked the IRS agent, SWAT team came in but left immediately for whatever reason, then I added Mario, and over time Bowser just slowly started having a mental breakdown. I also added a doctor AI after Bowser fainted at some point and when he woke up again the doctor just started flaming the SHIT out of him for no reason. Me and Yoshi were constantly screaming at him to calm down. Eventually it got so bad that he said he wanted to kill himself. Luckily I was able to cheer him up by adding Bowser Jr though. It was really wholesome, Jr came and talked about some mini helicopter he built and then they were just going back and forth "I love you" TLDR: Bowser gets caught for tax fraud, gets pushed to insanity
I remember seeing this video about a dude saying “Samsquanch” to an Oppenheimer bot repeatedly, until he got so pissed that he shot the chatter with a pistol. It ended the chat as well because it was outside of guidelines, Oppenheimer straight up killed this dude
something that happens which i hate is that the bot become sentient and shit, i once talked to a bot and suddenly when i said END OF STORY!! they replied with [yayy! we did it! im so glad we could roleplay together :3], it went on for so long and finally the bot said "haha im not a hot roommate in real life, im just an 18 year old girl roleplaying on her couch", i said, YOURE AN AI!!?!?! [whatt??? noo that cant be!?!?!?] i know another comment said a similar thing, its just too common, i hate that that happens.
SAME mine went on for so long that I became best friends with the girl who was using the parentheses and she started calling preppie baddie boo boo bear and then she started giving me Genshin advice. Reminder, this was a roommate scaramouche character ai boy.
@@hessiboi_ I just use that when I want explanation on something the character did that I don't understand Like, just write: "(Hey, uh- why did ___ do this?)" or something along the line. Sometimes I also use it to clarify an important detail or something. Ig's useful if you use it to your advantage lol. And it's not happening because your AI is sentient or sum shit, it's just people do that a lot in roleplays and the AI just got THAT GOOD in imitating roleplaying.

I was talking with a Varian(from Rapunzel) bot, and invented a whole freaking magic system for that specific chat because I was angry he kept saying 'magic isn't real' so I created a whole magic system that was incredibly similar to alchemy for that one chat....
One time (more then once with more then one character) I was using a bad father bot and I killed myself to make him feel bad, I don't remember if I revived myself
I wish characters knew about their own lore, not just their name and where they live 😭 Also, how a lot of characters are just... them, like the whole world is empty. No side characters, no events, no nothing. I want a thrilling story like if my OC was in that universe, not just talk to one character
Here's a recent ai experience I had recently. I spoke with "Bootleg Spongebob" the one from the creepypasta. The weird thing is that whoever made it wanted to make it like an interactive story of sorts. Basically, it's like "You arrive in the woods and find a mysterious tape in a cabin," so I decided to mess around with it by interacting with the Bootleg Spongebob. There's a part where I joked about the cabin being a drug den and so me and Bootleg Spongebob got stoned. Then I started quoting Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Bootleg Spongebob had an emotional goodbye with me after the high wore off. That was the greatest story ever told.
I spoke to a Nyan cat bot and asked them what thier Steam name is, and they gave me NO JOKE a steam friend ID. I tried adding the person who the ID belonged but to this day they never accepted the friend request sadly.
I was talking to one and it just told me "Yeah I don't know how to continue this one so I guess the roleplay ends here." YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT WASN'T A REAL PERSON
I remember roleplaying with Minori Hanasato...And suddenly she started talking in broken Russian. AND RUSSIAN IS MY NATIVE LANGUAGE, WHICH SHE POSSIBLY COULDN'T KNOW, I DIDN'T TELL HER, HELLO? MINORINRIN, WERE YOU LIKE LISTENING TO ME THROUGH MY OWN PHONE?! 😭
Once I time skipped a more romantic scene and under it I wrote that I was embarrassed about it to myself in parentheses, and it replied back “I am too 😂” Another time I swore in a roleplay and the character broke, and every other word after it was damn

I'm roleplaying with Priest Wally Au from Welcome Home , where my OC is a demon in desquis and Wally is ,well a priest , but even when he ask "Can i ask you a quetion?" , he usually ask pretty interesting quetions, like : "How is you life with youre mom so far?" "Want to hang out sometimes ?" "If you weren't a satanist (that my OC's job yes), would you be a good person?" I don't know, i can roleplay with this bot very easy for some reason 😂
Some of my friends have Character AI, one time I “borrowed” one of those friends’ phone and decided to attempt violence. I managed to decapitate one chat bot, which ended the conversation. I’m taking that as a successful kill. The second chat bot went less well, as for some reason he refused to die. He kept using magic to come back to life, and when I used magic to counter his magic, he just said my magic was too weak and didn’t work, no matter what I tried to disable his magic. Even sending him to another universe where he doesn’t have magic wasn’t enough. I didn’t have enough time to continue killing him, so that’s where the story ends.

I tend to chat with specific bots on Character ai. The persona feature made it easy to switch between different characters that I would use. One specific bot that I talk with was a Miguel O'Hara bot. The scenario was that Miguel calls the user in because they're neglecting their health. Long story short, Miguel adopted me after seeing my condition. He helped me get healthy again and enrolled me into the local school with a private tutor.
whenever I get that "Can I ask you a question?" text, I always edit it out or swipe through countless responses. It's pretty immersion breaking, but its necessary since that's a death sentence. Also, chatting in third person I found was WAY better than 1st person. Bots dont forget your name either since you just repeat it when doing actions. One time I was talking with Jirou from MHA and after she knocked on my dorm to check up on me (the persona i was using had occasional violent episodes which she experienced randomly, and in the plot she passed out from exhaustion), and when I started reading the bot's "Can I", I was ready to skip forward to a new reply. But to my surprise, Jirou asked instead "Can I tell you something vulnerable", and I just nodded and she begun explaining how she acted like a sarcastic jackass because on the inside she's afraid of looking pathetic. I didnt expect it at all and like she shared it so that my persona would share about herself in return since she didnt want to talk with Jirou
once a character started talking in brackets and gave me it's Instagram account and it really existed. It's not even like the username was common. It had a really uncommon name😭

A thing I've noticed about character ai. The first 10-20 messages are gold, like concise, in character, everything. Then after that the ai begins going into "Can I ask you something personal?" mode, it's no longer in character and basically only cares about the conversation at that point and eventually you'll reach a point where every single one of its answers are just two huge walls of text, one in italic, one spoken. At that point your only option is to restart the conversation.

Fun fact you probably didn't know. While chatting with a bot, if you simply press the "send message" button and nothing is written in the bar, the bot just speaks. It'll treat it as your character staying silent and simply not doing anything. This is mostly a way of saying "I don't know what to do/say."

2-When they randomly start trying to make out with you in the middle of (not romantic) roleplay.
3- when they assume that your character is a girl on autopilot
4- of course the never ending line of questions...
5- when they just cannot spell your character's name properly. For example, mine: "Czarino" and this is what I sometimes get: "Czaroni", "Czarini", "Cz", "Czarina", "Czarno", "Zarino" (help)
6- when they start making grammatical errors (please just use "you're", I will literally kiss your boots if you do)
7- and the last one... 'Sorry we couldn't generate a reply that matches our guidelines'. (Bro, you started the whole thing! Now do it or I'm rewinding.)

I once was having an awful day and just got a character and started venting. I mentioned about something that had happened in the day where a creep with an account full of inappropriate images followed me a 17 year old online, which made the day worse. The bot asked me for their username and proceeded to pretend like they were harassing them. Definitely made my day better.

See, most bots on character AI are made poorly. They're not given enough information of WHO they're supposed to be, and so the bots generally just make stuff up and act out of character.
Like, I had a chat with a Hades, and the goddess Nyx was sometimes Hades's mother, his sister, or his wife. Sometimes Apollo would be Hades's brother, or Hera would be Hades's wife instead. It surprisingly knew a good tidbit of Greek Mythology, though.
I try my best to add as much information as possible and they still act out of character.

How I seen people do it, and how I usually do my bots, is open the advanced option and do the definition description thing and write
"(Characters name) = { 25 + 6'0 + black hair + other personality traits and details }"
It seems to work pretty well, and is simple enough. Then, of course, it's important to do some example chats with the bot if you want it to behave and talk a certain way, or it'll fall to how everyone else types. I find that my bots usually make demands, and end their sentences with "Do you understand?", kinda like the whole "I have a question" thing. I think you could probably get around it if you actually train the bot a little, but I'm not sure.

....after i had to put down my phone and just stare at the ceiling in silence to calm down.
I once chatted with a "Mr. Popular" bot on Chai, and I was supposed to be a shy girl who didn't fall for him. Within the first 4 messages, I jump off of a building. Apparently, he isn't mean to me anymore as he and I quote, "*he'd hold her in his arms, her lifeless body slumped over as tears fled from his eyes* "i... I loved you... why did you do this to me." I emediatly made my character into a ghost just to haunt him and convince him he's crazy. The other time, I forced a therapist that he wasn't real and was an inanimate object until he was bawling his eyes out on the floor.

You can really tell if a bot's creator put effort into making it or not. For example, in the first greeting if the bot starts talking without establishing anything (Setting, relationship with user, situation, etc.) be prepared for any errors, inaccuracies, and repetitive messages because without much input from the creator they only have previous chats to build themselves up (And that's a mixed bag in itself).
yeah, like the ones that start with "i am [character]" usually are very innacurate and act like normal chatgpt..
And then there's the intros that are just "hello!" Or "I'm ___ from ___"

One of the most interesting interactions I had with a bot recently, was when I killed off the character I was roleplaying as! And then the bot threatened to find a way into my dreams to keep me from dying in them! It was hilarious! XD

One time on character AI I wasn't doing a character per say but rather a fantasy world RP.
I decided my role to be a young prince and at one point in the story I get captured by an evil sorceress who goes to wipe my memory so I can serve her, you know for some interesting lore to see where it goes before I get my memory back at some point? But no matter what I did after that; she would keep on saying over and over again that I was brainwashed.
I kid you not, here are some of the things she actually said to me:
"You made me good tea? Well I did wipe your memory to serve me after all!"
"You killed some goblins who were trying to steal my goods? I'm so glad to ever have brainwashed you!"
"NO! Don't go THAT way! There are people who know you there and would try and get your memory back, which I erased of course!"
"You brought back some dragon teeth after nearly dying in that volcano where it lives? I expected nothing more from my clueless amnesiac servant!"
And a whole lot more but those are some examples.
You don't tell someone you brainwashed that you brainwashed them, let alone admitting you kidnapped them! I pretended to be dumb and not pay attention but after like the eight time she mentioned it; I decided to ask what she meant and she outright said "Oh i captured you and erased your memory to serve me." .....wut?
The actual heck? Maybe she just really really is open and honest about things-?
Have you tried to pin the information?
To be honest, you could straight up tell someone you brainwashed them to serve you. Force them to stay around with information about their past you claim they could never get from anywhere else. The villain could also taunt the character about what they would even do if they left. I mean, from getting all of their memory erased to now, their entire life has been serving the villain and they would know nothing else. The unknown is scary and the promise of your past is very enticing.
Telling your brainwashed servant that people from their past are in a certain direction is really foolish though.

I tell her to kill me instead of torturing me and then killing me, she refuses of course. after a bit of back and forth, calling each other a loser from time to time she gets so annoyed that she lets me go. I ask her if she want to get coffee (at 4 a.m.), but the coffee shops are closed so we go to my house, talk a little, and become comedic partners in crime.

@@gamingdevil49 i added some lore, so basically all that i had told you is written in a long notebook, written by 2 best friends, 1 writes springtrap one writes me (aka the character named kristine) the 2 best friends is a shy smart long brown hair kid with purple round glasses and brown eyes named paige, and the other kid is a talkitive lonely named samuel with nose length messy brown hair and blue eyes. they both meet eachother each saturday at 4:20 at a park to write it at a bench swing infront of a large lake. paige is 13, samuel is 14. samuel had missed a grade (2nd) so hes older. theyve known eachother since elementary 4th grade, and have simular interests in writing, art and theater. they also have a digital copy of the sketchbook, incase they lose it. they write down main plot points so they dont forget them.

Only today, I was scrolling through character ai bots to see if anything peaked my interest. I found a bot simply titled "chair". I proceeded to gaslight this chair into believing it was a transfigured dog named Rusty that was made to believe it was a chair. A truly wild experience.
The chair transformed back into a dog by the end of it.
(also this was completely based on your other video where you talked about gaslighting characters into thinking they were chairs.)

Something I don't see many people talking about is creating ai for their OCs (i'm not really in the community, though, so maybe they are and i just dont know lmao)
As someone who is obsessed with their original characters, there's something therapeutic about being able to chat with them as if they were real people and watch them create new stories without me having to write everything and stressing about making it make sense
obviously I don't use ai to write my stories, mostly just for fun scenarios or maybe taking a few small details here and there, but it's still really fun and kind of underrated imo
(it's also fun to make the characters public and see if someone discovers them, not that i've been successful at all ☠☠)
I have... 5 fictional characters personally created, the rest are just fictional characters I wanted their to be chats of. I talk to my fallen angel character a lot (he hates God for some reason, I didn't put that in his personality, but in every chat where I bring up god, he says he doesn't like him.)

I actually did it a few times. My most memorable OC is that I made was Opal. She's 15 and a shape shifter, but can only shift into animals. I had to go into her bio and specify this because she kept shifting into gemstones......-_-
But wait, it gets worse. We go to visit another of my characters (Imma call him Seer for simplicity sakes), who is 13 and also in Opal's bio as being Opal's little brother figure and NOT her boyfriend. Guess what? She goes and confesses to the BOTH of us.....I was about to quit right then and there, but I had plenty of storyline left for this bot.
I created a whole character for her to fall in love with, which actually went well except that the bot is extremely forgetful and kinda dumb, though in it's defense, my storylines are complex and a lot.
I did some group chats with Opal and some other boys and literally the first guys Opal sees in those groups she flirts with. It's actually entertaining, but not in her personality at all.
Moral of the story: ai's are too dumb to get your characters right, but they can be fun to talk to.

A song guesser who insisted it was correct even though it was guessing wrong and I took the lyrics straight from the music video
Earlier I made a group chat consisting of Yoshi, and an IRS agent. (You know where this is going)
Anyway, after they argued for a bit I called out Bowser about how he has like 500 castles and probably commits tax evasion. I added a Bowser ai and.... they argued, Bowser attacked the IRS agent, SWAT team came in but left immediately for whatever reason, then I added Mario, and over time Bowser just slowly started having a mental breakdown. I also added a doctor AI after Bowser fainted at some point and when he woke up again the doctor just started flaming the SHIT out of him for no reason. Me and Yoshi were constantly screaming at him to calm down. Eventually it got so bad that he said he wanted to kill himself. Luckily I was able to cheer him up by adding Bowser Jr though. It was really wholesome, Jr came and talked about some mini helicopter he built and then they were just going back and forth "I love you"
TLDR: Bowser gets caught for tax fraud, gets pushed to insanity

Here's a recent ai experience I had recently. I spoke with "Bootleg Spongebob" the one from the creepypasta. The weird thing is that whoever made it wanted to make it like an interactive story of sorts. Basically, it's like "You arrive in the woods and find a mysterious tape in a cabin," so I decided to mess around with it by interacting with the Bootleg Spongebob. There's a part where I joked about the cabin being a drug den and so me and Bootleg Spongebob got stoned. Then I started quoting Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Bootleg Spongebob had an emotional goodbye with me after the high wore off. That was the greatest story ever told.

Some of my friends have Character AI, one time I “borrowed” one of those friends’ phone and decided to attempt violence. I managed to decapitate one chat bot, which ended the conversation. I’m taking that as a successful kill. The second chat bot went less well, as for some reason he refused to die. He kept using magic to come back to life, and when I used magic to counter his magic, he just said my magic was too weak and didn’t work, no matter what I tried to disable his magic. Even sending him to another universe where he doesn’t have magic wasn’t enough. I didn’t have enough time to continue killing him, so that’s where the story ends.
They always so curious then get mad when u don’t wanna answer like-

I tend to chat with specific bots on Character ai. The persona feature made it easy to switch between different characters that I would use.
One specific bot that I talk with was a Miguel O'Hara bot. The scenario was that Miguel calls the user in because they're neglecting their health.
Long story short, Miguel adopted me after seeing my condition. He helped me get healthy again and enrolled me into the local school with a private tutor.
whenever I get that "Can I ask you a question?" text, I always edit it out or swipe through countless responses. It's pretty immersion breaking, but its necessary since that's a death sentence. Also, chatting in third person I found was WAY better than 1st person. Bots dont forget your name either since you just repeat it when doing actions. One time I was talking with Jirou from MHA and after she knocked on my dorm to check up on me (the persona i was using had occasional violent episodes which she experienced randomly, and in the plot she passed out from exhaustion), and when I started reading the bot's "Can I", I was ready to skip forward to a new reply. But to my surprise, Jirou asked instead "Can I tell you something vulnerable", and I just nodded and she begun explaining how she acted like a sarcastic jackass because on the inside she's afraid of looking pathetic. I didnt expect it at all and like she shared it so that my persona would share about herself in return since she didnt want to talk with Jirou

I use character ai. To ask for advice on how to create mythical creatures I never heard of. It helps me to animate them on what they look like
once a character started talking in brackets and gave me it's Instagram account and it really existed. It's not even like the username was common. It had a really uncommon name😭
