This makes so much sense to me as I am scaling my 1 month old startup providing engineering services 😅. You have to be answerable to your clients while continuously managing & motivating your engineers to deliver on time.... it tends to get incredibly stressful 😓.
Great podcast Anthony. One comment--when the firm is bringing in that director of operations to work "on" the company, don't get lost requiring that person to be billable to a client. They will be more profitable as a firm if you don't go there.
