I wish they still made interviews like this. To be honest I never ever thought about the fact that Jason Todd had just been killed off during that time period. I also like his point on comics and stories always changing, what matters is the essence of the character and really just his explanation on everything. A lot of videos are on You Tube as to why he did or didn’t do something or what could have been, but here so many questions are answered directly from the horse mouth. I learned a lot even after decades of Tim Burton and 89’ Batman being my favorites.
Not to mention his statement on audiences all wanting the same things and mad at the studios (which is still happening to this day) but since at least Wizard of Oz audiences destroy films that were actually phenomenal, only to love them later when it’s too late for it to impact what movies are being made within that generation. I also never considered his work during the time being seen as lacking story. I’m thankful he kept getting work.
Sean as Vicky Vale on the first movie, hired by the producers, she fell off a horse and broke a bone, got recast. On the second movie she broke into Tim’s office and the part was already cast.
