+Hetty Molly Well, let's just say there were some errors in her speech but I've watched her past interviews and she always responds in English (American accent) and I believe it's her first language.
It's just like saying someone who speaks Tagalog in Philippines but still cannot complete or say the sentence right.
+khey1722baby I wasn't trying to insult her own way of speaking the English language and I know for a fact that it's so natural for most Filipinos to have a few mistakes in speaking the foreign language. I would say that she did a great job answering the questions in smooth pattern infront of the audience regardless of her unprepared circumstances.

Nothing worse than a person who insists on their wrongness...even if there is abundant proof out there that refutes their stupid ideas. First of all, the site you showed me clearly wrote THERE ARE NO DEFINITIVE rules when it comes to pronouncing English words..but you can try going by the general rules in pronunciation which is what they tried to explain in the table showing the differences in the pronunciation of MOST two-syllable verbs and nouns..MOST po, not ALL.
Also, govern DOES NOT OPERATE as a noun..it only operates as a VERB. The only pronunciation it has is GUHV-ern. There are countless other two-syllable verbs where the stress is on the first syllable, such as the words PRESSURE, HARDEN, STRAIGHTEN, at marami pang iba, Wag magpakabobo, bumalik ka school ha?
