It is so clever as you said. Love it. They did so many videos during the pandemic. Quarantine, Sunday Best, this one, Flowers on the Wall, Sea Shanty Medley, Folsom Prison Blues. I know there’s more but these are all great. Love them. 😍
They've made me smile yet again. Everything they do is fantastic. It's an awesome compliment that you have to keep reminding yourself there aren't any actual instruments. They're just that dang good at what they do. Thanks for a great reaction.
You gotta check out Peter Hollens and Home Free " still haven't found what i'm looking for " that was done during quarantine and they have their patrons in the video. It's really fun to watch
Please react to " This is How We Roll" it's hilarious and Austin's rapping is something else!! You will absolutely love it!! Ty so much for reacting to HF!! You're a true Home Fry!!
Great song, great singing, and a really nice reaction on the part of our reactioner! Love that you gave us an interpretation of the lyrics and the positive message they convey. You always think of something to say other than "that was good." Thanks.
You're so right about hearing the lyrics clearly in Home Free covers. Maybe instrumentation causes us to lose some of the lyrics in the originals, but with HF, their lyrics are so clear that the songs take on new meaning. Thanks for us on your HF journey. Cheers!
I actually looked it up, they did 20 lockdown videos when they were in separate locations around the country. 21 if you count the one they did with Peter Hollens (I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For) So yeah, 10 months at two videos a month sounds about right. There were points in between when they were able to get together but few and far between. Each so creative! I think they are some of their best videos. Some you get a glimpse into their lives at home with their families. There is one that they did that is an original...performed with the writer Jeffery East on guitar. It's called "People" and not many people react it. Which is a shame because it is such a beautiful song. I think you may like it. But yeah, they did a lot of videos while in lockdown. I think it helped them to keep busy and it helped us to have something to look forward to.
Their producer had them upload a peogramme, that would let him control their computers, so they could record in their own homes, except Rob and Adam Rupp, who live close to him, and could go to his studio. They each recorded their videos separately, and their amazing video director/producer did HOURS of editing!
They also did a cover of On The Road Again during quarantine. They totally changed the vibe of the song as it showcased them pining to be on the road again.
American Pie is another great cover, and video they did during Quarantine. It was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the songs release, Don McLean was scheduled to perform at the Surf Ballroom for the celebration, but the show was reschedule. So Don did this instead
It came out when people were just getting used to and hating being cooped up....and this was so nice to hear...a it brought a bit of normality back & also showed that Home Free was just like us too....not privileged at all....they came closer to the fans during this time, if they isn;t irony LOL. Great song, and their video editor is just a flat out GENIUS
You keep saying they did a couple videos during quarantine..... they did A TON of videos in that time. Lol Quarantine Moonshine Down to the honky-tonk Flowers on the wall Sunday best I still haven't found what I'm looking for (with Peter Hollens) Plus a few more I'm not recalling right now. 😉🥰🥰
This is one of my favorite quarantine videos. Home Free's music really helped during this time as I suffer with anxiety. Such a happy feel good song. The guys were really creative & the editing was great.
This is one of my favorite of theirs... not because of the singing alone but because of the video and being in lockdown and seeing this made me happy. I have loved this song my whole life though :)
Hi!! Love your reactions! New subscriber here. Welcome to the "rabbit hole" known as Home Free!! Would love to see your reaction to their video When will I be loved. It's just too cute!! Take care and keep up the great video's!!
Home Free released so many videos/songs during quarantine. It kept many of us sane! They got very creative with all their videos during that time. Thanks Josh. 🍟
I think they released a new one every other Friday. And Tim and Austin did a lot of song writing. Thus was born the wonderful Home Free album So Long Dixie.
A nice cheerful song in the time when it wasn't so fun at all . Home Free helped me trough this bad time. Well sung but above all so well made video. Really so cool.
I love this song and video. The transitions are incredible!! Check out their version of Willie Nelson's "On The Road Again"; also done during quarantine. The way they did it makes you really appreciate their take on being quarantined. Another fun reaction! Thx!
This was such a creative video for quarantine!! Be sure you listen to the cover of Amazed!! The video is so well thought out with a bunch of high school kids at a dance and the awkward situations! Fits so perfectly with the song and brings back lots of memories!! Nice reaction
They made more than a few videos during lockdown. Enough to release a new album. Their producer told them what equipment to buy and he’d put the individual videos together, along with the music.
I have not seen your reaction to the actual quarantine video yet, not something that you would be familiar with, but I am sure you’ll get a kick out of it. Thank for your reactions, I look forward to them each day!!
This song was an immediate hit with me, when Diamond Rio first sang it, back in 1991, when I was 42 and my youngest daughter (of six children) was seven. She and I would dance around singing it all the time...we both just loved it. After listening to it the first time by Home Free (when it was immediately a hit with me again), I went back and listened to the original, and spent a few days going back and forth between the two, comparing the sounds...loads of fun. 😀 Thanks for the lovely reaction.
This was about the same time, that Austin released his solo song "Earn it". In "Bring him Home" (from Les miserable), you can really hear his theatrical trained voice (whithout his Georgia accent). In this song, you can hear his mixed accent country voice. In "Earn it", he sings with his Georgia accent. It's a earcathing sweet and fun song, and his own original. Can absolute recomend.
Love this song. Love Diamond Rio. Saw them live once in the '90s, and they were fantastic. More bluegrassy, and I enjoy that style. Thanks for reacting again to HF!
This one is my favorite quarantine video I think. This song is such a classic. Even over video they managed to make such awesome content together. So happy they did it..such a radio classic..an a tough cover!
They each got good recording equipment (after initially using their phones) and they got go pros. They recorded in their homes and sent their parts to their producer, Darren Rust. They put out a new video every two weeks during quarantine. Austin, Tim and Chance did solo work as well on their own RUclips channels
They truly love what they do and it shows. I don't remember the exact number but I think they put out at least 15 videos during all the Covid stuff and quarantine. They kept a lot of us going day to day, to be perfectly honest.
I was always really amazed with this one how they each did this from their own homes with their phones, no less and the way they used the phones to switch to each person, back and forth. Really creative stuff! I also remember this song when it came out originally and loved it and Home Free always does a great job on their covers! You need to do the one called Quarantine ruclips.net/video/dxanH9ejrH0/видео.html. Enjoying your reactions!❤
Oh and another cover that will make you smile an oldie THIS IS HOW WE ROLL
Hilarious epic channeling of The Big Lebowski in that one!
I love your explanation about why their covers are so good!
It is so clever as you said. Love it. They did so many videos during the pandemic. Quarantine, Sunday Best, this one, Flowers on the Wall, Sea Shanty Medley, Folsom Prison Blues. I know there’s more but these are all great. Love them. 😍
I love their cover of "SOLD" - another super fun video!!
You need to get to a concert. They are just as great live.
They've made me smile yet again. Everything they do is fantastic. It's an awesome compliment that you have to keep reminding yourself there aren't any actual instruments. They're just that dang good at what they do. Thanks for a great reaction.

It's on the Peter Hollins Channel it was his Patreons

Another great quarantine video!! They kept us sane back them!!
Great song try BLUE AINT YOUR COLOR they cover it well to like always
Great song, great singing, and a really nice reaction on the part of our reactioner! Love that you gave us an interpretation of the lyrics and the positive message they convey. You always think of something to say other than "that was good." Thanks.

Have you reacted to their song, "Quarantine" done to the melody of Billy Joel's, "Honesty". It's hilarious!! I think you'll enjoy it very much!❤️
totally agree it's the best

A fun follow up quarantine song is "Moonshine".
Also - "Down to the Honkytonk"
Thanks
Yes!!!
I love Moonshine and was just thinking it would be a great song for a reaction, also Woman-Amen
Agree with Woman-Amen and would add What We Ain't Got and In The Blood.
Well heck, they're all great ;-)
It came out when people were just getting used to and hating being cooped up....and this was so nice to hear...a it brought a bit of normality back & also showed that Home Free was just like us too....not privileged at all....they came closer to the fans during this time, if they isn;t irony LOL. Quarantine
Moonshine
Down to the honky-tonk
Flowers on the wall

I still haven't found what I'm looking for (with Peter Hollens)
Plus a few more I'm not recalling right now. 😉🥰🥰
Everyone Walking This Land was a quarantine vid, too, wasn't it?
They did two video's a month and released a From the Vault once a month during quarantine. I truly enjoy watching your reaction to this song.
This is one of my favorite quarantine videos. Home Free's music really helped during this time as I suffer with anxiety. Such a happy feel good song. The guys were really creative & the editing was great.

Love Homefree! 🤠❤🤠
So glad you reacted to this one - this is one of my favorite Home Free songs.
There are a few interviews with Tim on RUclips where he talks a little about the process of making videos during lockdown.
There are many songs I was unfamiliar with the actual lyrics until HF sang them. One of the many things I like about HF.

Ya you're right for sure about their music/song choices always make us happy, and some of their videos are ridiculously entertaining too !
You need to see them live if you can. They do a great concert, and it really emphasizes that there are no instruments,
You need to watch Quarantine. It was funny when we were actually going through it.
A nice cheerful song in the time when it wasn't so fun at all . Home Free helped me trough this bad time.
Well sung but above all so well made video. Really so cool.
Great reaçtion ☺️ Thank you

Just love seeing your mellow smile listening to this stuff.
This one is my favorite quarantine video I think. This song is such a classic. Even over video they managed to make such awesome content together. So happy they did it..such a radio classic..an a tough cover!
One of the most popular hits Sea Shanty Medley was filmed during quarantine. These guys are talented and creative.

Another great video. You should CK out The Bass Gang featuring Tim Foust as the lead singer. It's great.
Have you thought about doing the videos from The Sing Off?
And maybe you’re ready to check out some of the live videos…
