I almost agreed of everything but you forgot something about the Dark Sea, it is stated to be a land outside of the juridiction of the seven and it stated to be where the Seeelies builded their kingdom and palaces before they became shadows of themselves. Its where those who dont want to live under the rules goes to die because since the death of the 3 Moon it became a desolate place. so it cant possibly in or be the Abyss. Inazuma is said to be between main land Teyvat and the Dark Sea.
@@Sacration the problem is that it's from records of Jueyun, so like i say later in the video, it's a made-up folk tale based on some truth, which in this case it would be pretty easy, since we know that one for the moons (the alive one, by the way) is in the abyss. So, that's simply where the Seelies were banished to, the abyss, also considering it being the trashcan of Teyvat and the Seelies weren't useful anymore. Where is it said the thing about Inazuma?
@@ShadowXImpactOh yeah it makes sense somehow but I still believe to be a physicall place far from mainland Teyvat, or a fusion of both at the very least It is mentioned a few times in game books and NPC in Inazuma, in Raiden second story quest it is mentioned also (I think)... now that I remember it, it is also mentioned by Dainsleif in Raiden Collected Miscellany.
@Sacration In the Shogun's miscellany, Dainsleif says that Inazuma neighbors the Dark Sea. If the dark sea is simply the ocean past the continent, so where the golden apple archipelago is, and it's completely outside the jurisdiction of the seven, then how did Orobashi fall into Enkanomiya by fleeing into the dark sea, Nad how did Nahida talk to the traveler during the 2.8 summer event? She shouldn't have been able to do so. That's why I'm very skeptical about it simply being a regular ocean...
Wonderful theory, no notes- except that you and Ashikai should collaborate, because combining this theory with her latest video (the one about the Abyss being a base material that strives to define itself through mimicry) provides a perfect explanation for whatever the heck is going on with Teyvat
@@catdownthestreet I'd be happy to, but although Ashikai knows about my existence (we talked on discord in the past), I doubt she watches my videos, so a collaboration seems very impossible to happen...
@@Jonathan-em8ld it's not like I'm say that it's never going to happen, but I don't think I have any kind of relevance on the platform. A collab should benefit both parties, and while my channel would get a massive boost, Ashikai's wouldn't really get enything out of it, especially since my viewers all know Ashikai's channel, so it wouldn't even get more views nor subscribers. Considering how busy Ashikai is, why would she spend time on something that wouldn't benefit only me?
@ShadowXImpact i respect your stance and view on the business side of things as to your reasoning however I guess in my very basic opinion, I was coming from the point of how it would've been fun for all parties involved just to share ideals. Besides, there could be other ways you'd be able to help her.
@Jonathan-em8ld I know it sounds like I'm only seeing the business side of things, but as you said, it's a lot of work, especially when it comes to coordination on both parties, and we even live in two very different timezones, which doesn't help. When you weight your options, I would do it in an instant despite the difficulties, not just because of the benefits, but also because it would be really fun. Ashikai, on the other hand, always has a very long list of videos in the making, so taking away time from something that it would help her channel to make a video with me, a random 5k channel that barely gets 4k views per video.... If the occasion arises, I'd agree no problem. Ashikai also knows how to reach me on Discord, since we spoke in the past
I just realized "the 5 saints are hidden in the void" could be or related to the the 5 sinners of khanriah mentioned by dainslief in the bedtime story archon quest
@@EnjouBates I think it would make more sense if the sinners looked for those saints, mainly because that book was written when Orobashi fell into Enkanomiya, so millennia before the cataclysm, so most sinners (I'm excluding Rhinedottir because she's from the Crimson Moon dynasty) weren't even born
5:14 one thing about the 5th artifact. I've recently spent some time with one of my friends to finds it's representation, abd we came to this conclusion that the 5th artifact is primordial one's consciousness. In notes when the game is telling us about the shades it suddenly says "and her consciousness" i think the shades wield a fraction of her power while her consciousness is in a different being. It makes sense to the concept of crown as if she's the lead.

Here's how I see the realms, Teyvat was originally the Light Realm surrounded by the Void Realm, so basically a normal planet surrounded by space. When Phanes came and defeated the dragons, he turned the surface of the Light Realm(planet) into the Human Realm, that also explains why the dragons started devolving, because they lack the primordial energy that is harmful to humans. In scientific terms you could think of it as either cosmic radiation or too much nucIear material, or even both. The Light Realm still exists beneath the surface of the planet where humans aren't supposed to live because it likely takes a lot of energy to maintain the living conditions for humans. The "Egg" is basically a planetary shield, that also hides the grisly outer space and is part of the mechanism that controls the fate of humans, it likely has something to do with extracting energy from allogenes, to keep powering the shield. The Void Realm is basically the part of Teyvat that is affected by the Abyss, which originates in space, outside of Teyvat. The reason the Abyss has an easier time getting into Teyvat from beneath the surface is because of the Abyss gates that exist buried deep within the planet. And the reason these Abyssal gates exist is because everyone, from the Dragons, to Phanes and even the Travelers, use Abyssal matter/energy to create things on Teyvat, the Domains are basically factories, that's why they don't exist in real space, they are phased out so they can extract the Abyss. It's also how Rhinedottir created new life.
@VeraldoAncodini I don't think it has ever been said that Primordial energy is toxic to humans. I mean, Phlogiston is a light element, and the people can use it no problem. As for extracting power from the alogene, do remember that the visions only appeared after the Archon War, not before. I suppose this idea that the abyss is what creates stuff in Teyvat comes from Ashikai's latest video, right? I haven't watched it, but I saw people saying that the abyss is like an ink bottle to write the story of the human realm. Since I don't really know what Ashikai said in the video, I can't really say much about it, but if the abyss is what creates the world, then why would it be toxic? Isn't it a contradiction? I mean, everything would have an abyss base
@@ShadowXImpact I'm pretty sure we've been told that the Light Realm is not safe for humans to live in, if it was, then Phanes wouldn't have needed to create the Human Realm in the first place. Also, wasn't the purpose of the Coral Butterflies to convert the dangerous energy of the Light Realm into energy fit for the Human one? Natlanteans don't use raw Phlogiston, which behaves like lava, and the reason they can use its refined form might have something to do with how the Night Kingdom works. Exactly, before the War of Vengenace whoever was in control of Teyvat still had enough energy to maintain the "eggshell" without needing allogenes, that's why they made the Archon War, to establish a new order that would use allogenes as a power source. It's not just Ashikai, the concept has existed long before, it's like how the Imaginary Tree uses the Sea of Quanta to create entire worlds. There's obviously a way to purify Abyssal energy and matter to create physical things. Albedo and the Melusines are prime examples. It's also hinted that we will soon purify Durin, and the whole point of Simulanka was to explain how Teyvat works. Simulanka alone shows that Abyssal energy is used to make pretty much everything that exists.
@VeraldoAncodini the coral butterfly are said to convert elemental energies, which doesn't really specify if we're talking about the light or human realm or even the abyss (since it has an element anyway), since both have elemental energies. Still, they're specific, as per the description, for one specific area, not the entire realm they live in. Once again, since Enkanomiya is maintained by void towers that belong neither to the human nor the light realm, doesn't it simply mean that these butterfly make the abyss not toxic, reason why Orobashi then repurposed them for Enkanomiya? Where did you find that people can use refined Phlogiston thanks to the night kingdom? I mean, Waxaklahun's story revolves around him stealing Phlogiston and giving it to the humans, teaching them how to use it, while trying to create a civilization completely disconnected from the night kingdom, which was reconnected only thanks to Chaac. As long as I understand, the Imaginary Tree creates the bubble universes and when they fall into the sea of quanta, like leaves from a tree, they are meant to be destroyed, so the sea of quanta doesn't create these worlds. Yes, abyssal energy can be purified, but that doesn't automatically mean that it's how Teyvat was created. It can also mean that whatever falls or comes in contact with the abyss, is corrupted but it can also purified of it, restoring it's original form. As per the Melusines, we don't really have a clear explanation to why they're not corrupted by the abyss, except for the fact that they were born most likely because of the interaction of the Abyss (Elynas) and Pneumosia Annihilation (the parts of the Meks that got stuck into Elynas due to the explosion), so we could say that pneumosia, something potentially related to the light realm (Neuvillette as the dragon sovereign has full authority over pneumosia), can neutralize the abyss, but also this could also prove my theory. If the abyss and th light realm are two products of the same material taken from the old world, the they can simply annihilate each other, similarly to khvarena and the abyss. Simulanka. I suppose this is all about the ink bottle giving color to the forest, right? Then why does it have to represent the abyss? I mean, the ink is shining gold, it's not even remotely purple, right?
@@ShadowXImpact "They were once destroyers of the old order, only capable of living while concealed in the Dark Sea. And there they would have stayed, had the serpent god not given them another opportunity." - That's from the description of Coral Butterflies, which were created by Phanes to help expand the Human Realm. On Phlogiston it's just my speculation based on the Nightsoul mechanic, when it's active they shine just like being infused with Phlogiston. So since people outside Natlan can't use Phlogiston, I am thinking that it is the Nightsoul Blessing that enables them to use Phlogiston to power up their abilities. Also, "Och-Kan banned the practice of offering live sacrifices and forbade people from worshipping the Night Kingdom in order to consolidate authority and to prevent humanity from becoming "strung up on the Lord of the Night's strings"". I don't think Waxaklahun wanted to sever the connection of the humans to the Night Kingdom, after all, Och-Kan went against his plans. The Imaginary Tree absorbs the Sea of Quanta and uses it to create worlds. Worlds then fall from the Tree and into the Sea, being reabsorbed, it's a cycle. Melusines were created by the reaction between Quantum and Imaginary, or better said by their devolved forms that exist in Fontaine - Ousia and Pneuma. The Imaginary overpowered the Quantum and purified Elynas, allowing the wills(souls) leftover from the Quantum(Abyss) to coalesce into Melusines. No, it's not the ink, the ink is already a purified form of Abyssal energy, it's closer to Ousia. What I am talking about is what happens when Simulana's Durin comes in contact with the building blocks that make Simulanka. Because Durin was made of raw Abyssal power, his presence makes everything revert back to primordial abyssal energy. Simulanka explains the transition of energy: Primordial Abyss(with souls like Gosoythoth) purified Abyss(Ousia) which lacks will or souls Human Realm energies(the elements) purified Imaginary(Pneuma) and Phlogiston Primordial Imaginary, which is the power of the Descenders and other souls that dwell in the Imaginary energy. Primordial powers always have a will behind them. Khvarena for example is a less powerful Primordial Imaginary power. The Simurgh is the counterpart to Durin and Elynas.

.. 1 thing about you saying enka is in the abyss.. Your Chinese translation example has the word ocean '海' in front of abyss. And enka sunk into the ocean.. if I'm using my context clues, this feels like another ocean abyss vs actual abyss situation. English probably didn't add "abyss" to avoid the confusion ngl. Like, en translation is still under the same company, they can't just change the stort however they want.
@@Evitzeoshowerthoughts yes, but then again, if Enkanomiya fell into a simple ocean, then why is it in a cave and not, you know, in the ocean? The cave itself is really similar to the various caves in which the domains are, and they are definitely into the abyss, since we basically see the abyss when we open the gate. So, if Enkanomiya originally was an island on the ocean, then it would make sense for them to call it an "ocean abyss", simply because it's a section of the abyss that lies underneath the ocean, while the rest of it was under the unified nation. Plus, they also say that they border with all three realms, and the triangular borders are maintained by the void towers that balance the three powers of the three realms to prevent Enkanomiya from tipping too much toward one of those realms. Yes, the translation company works for Hoyoverse, but translating from Chinese to English, two completely different languages, comes with compromises, big ones actually, because you need to fit the original meaning with the language but also culture of the target language, so some meanings are inevitably lost. A translator's job isn't easy. I mean, they had to render the original text with the formal writing of an imaginary ancient civilization. They're not changing things however they want, they are doing their jobs. Translation is my field of study, so I understand the reasons behind those choices, but at the same time, I also realize that checking the original version will always give more insight into what things originally meant to say

On the mural thing it's anyone's guess up to a point. I doubt it'll ever be addressed so it doesn't matter. The part under the 4 shades plus PO doesn't look like any dragon to me, let alone seven of them. Plus it's bigger than the section for the shades and PO which doesn't make sense. But I don't think it has to make sense because it's just some random patterns thrown up there to look cool. Why would one shade get top billing and why would it get any more space on the mural when we already said the image at the top is the 4 shades? The idea that there are 3 realms represented in the image there is defied by the fact that we know the Abyss only appears when the 2nd Who Came arrives (since the2nd is the Abyss). But if you want another argument it's pretty simple. Why on earth would the PO create the Abyss which is going to become the very thing that endangers humanity the most and that the PO is a deadly enemy of? The very enemy that damages the PO and nearly destroys all of Teyvat? Why would the PO create that? How does it make sense to make Unknown God = Phanes on the basis that Phanes has wings when Unknown God has no wings? What sense is that? You keep on about the dragons being inside Teyvat not making sense (while having no issue with the Abyss being inside). There's no need to assume the dragons were inside Teyvat to begin with. It's not like THEY have an issue coming and going between realms like humans do. There's no need to deduce that the PO must have forced the sovereigns inside Teyvat, which I agree would be silly, although not nearly as dumb as making the abyss inside Teyvat, which you have no issue with. 9:42 it's the same symbol as is on the Twins wings. Considering their common heritage with the Twins maybe it's a symbol from the primordial Earth. 10:25 Apep is and was in Sumeru and never accepted the PO's rulership. Is there any basis for all this "Abyss is the trash can of Teyvat" stuff? It's not like we get given a lot of details about the terraforming process that you said didn't exist but obviously does, but.... the detail we do get says the Coral butterflies are gradually converting light realm into human realm by means of converting the harsh elemental energy of the Light realm into coral plus regular human realm elemental energy which won't kill humans. So the game text says the coral is the only "waste product". And where do you get this weird idea that the Abyss contains the resentment and hatred of the world? We know it doesn't because there's plenty of lingering resentment and hatred in Teyvat. Why doesn't the PO send that off to the Abyss? Nowhere in the game text is this idea of Abyss as trash can appear. 11:10 No, the sees and oceans means the Dark Sea. The defeated or running away gods also go to the Dark Sea after / during the Archon war. Why would dragons go to the Abyss which is toxic to them? when they could just go to the dark sea (light realm) which is not toxic to them? Of course all the dragons we see are in Teyvat so some at least would have to have returned eventually. perhaps in the 2nd war. Enkanomiya didn't fall into the Abyss and is not in the Abyss. If it had then all the humans (and Vishaps) would be dead. Enkanomiya is in the human realm. The only realm humans can survive in. Did you forget that the Abyss is toxic? It's kind of a big part of the 5.x story line if you missed reading it in 2.3 and 2.4 Your evidence for it being in the Abyss is use of the word meaning "deep water". yeah. Abyss as a word in English can mean both/either. In Enkanomiya it clearly just means deep water -- you know? Because Enkanomiya is deep underwater? 11:48 which of the sovereigns are in the Light realm these days? they all seem to hang out in the Human realm (ie in Teyvat) but I doubt there's any great reason for this. The game is set in Teyvat so that's where we have to meet anything even if it would make more sense to only meet dragons in the Light realm. 12:25 "that keep the Abyss out". but you just said Enkanomiya is in the Abyss? Now it's outside the Abyss? Pick one. 12:38 I would have thought you'd make the 5 saints = 5 sinners of Dains' buddies. The book you're quoting from dates to after the people came out of Enkanomiya and reached the surface so the timing of the remark might be prophetic. it reads as a prophetic statement of Aberaku. 13:18 she said crystals plural.
Unkown Gods design is probably not complete and the form we see is similar to the form Raiden Ei's Shogun puppet took during its boss fight... Asmoday might have a crown in her other forms... I don't agree with the details of your early chronology. It probably doesn't matter but there's specific reasons why I think you're wrong. Look there I even put that dumb phrase "I think" in there that has no value at all in that sentence, just to make you feel happier. Are you happy? Well let's get to the objections: * I don't know why you want to say there was no terraforming. Clearly there was but not based on this passage. We know there was terraforming because we're told that (1) the natural state of the planet was toxic to humans, as the light realm continues to be (2) the PO introduced a great many Terran plants and animals to Teyvat, which by definition is a part of terraforming and (3) the Coral butterflies. But beyond that it's an ongoing theme of the game that there are two separate ecologies in some respects battling just as the factions do. We're told that human realm and light realm biologies are hard to mix - in the notes of the Vishap experiments. We're told about Egeria that she was created without using foreign/alien material. Because that's important. Because as the Sibling says this planet doesn't like invasive alien stuff. In addition the whole "Ark" / bible story of Noah framing is one of settling a new planet for humanity. That requires terraforming. * I don't know why you want to say that the new world was created right away when you go on to read how it took 360 years. Pick one. Of course the exact number here is metaphorical. There's no reason to take this literally. Terraforming a planet takes a lot longer than that. By suggesting it was instant you're saying the PO is omnipotent. It was possible to believe that back in 2.3 but we know the PO is not omnipotent now. It gets injured. It has to sleep. It's plans are foiled. It's still fighting it's enemies instead of saying one word and they are destroyed. The history is of a "god" that has a lot of power but not all power. All of the processes described in BS&M take a period of time to accomplish. * 2:00 these points are off. Why do you say #2 is "it decides to create a new world" when the text says "the world was made anew"? The answer is because you want to force the text to your theory instead of vice versa. Similarly the text does not say the Shades were created before the PO won the fight with the dragons. If you look at the text it says the PO arrives (obviously this is first) and then it fights and wins and finally it terraforms the planet. As Apep says the victor gets to make the rules. The PO wins victory and then starts messing with things. But does it really matter? It's not like anyone was there to remember and pass on these details to Enkanomiyans. Maybe one day we'll be told the PO created the Coral butterflies during the war instead of after it ended. So what? It's close enough. * "Vanquish" doesn't imply killing. it's just another word for "defeat". There doesn't seem to be any difference between the English and Chinese. * I agree Phanes isn't important, and is probably a Shade. And I doubt any of the 5 of them will be depicted as anything but female especially considering the 2nd KFC wings says PO is female. But since we're told Zhongli can shape shift why wouldn't shades? Maybe Phanes is the Shade of creation and is more like a male figure. Not important and we probably never find out. * the passage about breaking the egg shell to create the microcosm is talking about the PO using the no-longer needed world ship to create the firmament. Again this is because the tenor of the narrative is quasi realistic sci-fi like. As opposed to being like Greek mythology. There's no egg. The PO doesn't pop out of an egg. A huge chicken didn't lay a big egg. The shades aren't formed from the PO laying eggs. And egg shell isn't a good building material. Plus the amount of egg shell from an egg big enough for a shade would be tiny compared to the size of the firmament. The story isn't magic out of nothing, the PO is not an ex-nihilo creator. Probably. I'm simply pointing out how the rest of the story does this stuff. it's materially based. It's not word of god / miraculous out of nothing sort of grand scale magic. * the English does NOT sound like Phanes disobeyed the PO. * the Shade of Life (Creation) didn't ask a freaking dragon for help. That makes no sense at all. We're told that there are two confliction biologies. Even when the PO decides Egeria needs to be built of local materials they don't ask the dragons for advice. It's their planet now. The dragons are worthless. And you just make up this idea out of nowhere as if the PO and sovereigns were best buddies now. And can I remind you Apep is the Dendro sovereign? Does Apep sound like she was working for the PO for a long time? Sure Apep and the water dragon and the pyro dragon all claim to be the one who created life. Well firstly they can't all be right can they? And secondly at best this means the local life not the new stuff the PO brings to terraform the planet. You suggest that Apep only made plants to try and get around the problem of them contradicting each other but fail to mention that the Pyro dragon also claimed they made all life. And where does Apep say they only made plants? Not that the local creatures are strictly divided between plants and animals and fungi anyway. That's a Terran biology thing.

@DefinitelyNotSoul because these games, very often, hint at each other, so despite the fact that they'll be different, some core elements end up being pretty much the same
It's mostly tied to honkai impact. In honkai impact there's a tree that connects all different universes to each other and creates the honkaiverse. As a hoyoverse game Genshin's world is tied to that tree. although it's not directly related to honkai world but travel between them is possible cuz we know descenders are from different universes and we saw a character in honkai impact passing through a portal and going to HSR world and the unknown god has "imaginary" symbol whitch is a honkai element so as skirk has "quantum" symbol. There are too many evidence connecting these worlds together.
@Ketabdar69 I wouldn't necessarily say the Descenders are from other universes, actually. They're from other worlds. For all we know, Honkai Impact, Star Rail and Genshin Impact may not even be in a multiverse but just one single universe. Think about it: the people from the solar system in Honkai Impact can't leave the solar system because of the Imaginary energies (not even Sa could do it). Then, in Star Rail, we have Qlipoth who's building walls all over the universe, separating the various systems to prevent a catastrophe that's coming, so those walls might be what's preventing the people from leaving the solar system. Then we also have some systems that are simply obscured for some reason, like Amphoreus, so that might be the case for both the solar system (reason why Himeko has never heard about the Earth), but also Genshin Impact, since it's a world inside a cosmic egg that separates the universe from the microcosm of the world, so the world is literally hidden from the universe
@@ShadowXImpact fair enough, I can see your point but if all the games are happening in the same universe so.. what about "imaginary tree" and it's branches?
The upside-down thing is just nonsense. What do you think it means? It's like the HI3 stuff because it's left super ambiguous so it can fit with any evidence, meaning that it's unfalsifiable and meaningless. Give me just one prediction based on this "theory". Your statement that this is the reason the Chasm city is upside down is contradicted by the chronology of the Chasm. We know that the city is only turned upside down by the passing of the Nail (because of the evidence of the marks of the Nail's passage and the description of the domain on the NW side of the Chasm). That's after the war. besides which some of the city is upside down and some is not so how can it be explained by saying all of the planet tipped over? That makes no sense at all. If the whole planet is flipped than everything on the planet would be flipped too. What stops some things being flipped and wouldn't any such force equally well explain the planet not flipping but only small parts of it flipping? If the planet flipped then why is the Abyss down and not up? Why is the firmament up and not down? Plus if the planet is a planet with gravity you do know that "flipping" the planet would make no difference? You know gravity works just the same in Australia right? I mean what on earth is even meant by flipping the planet? The entire concept is incoherent. 14:10 so finally we get to some meat of the theory with you declaring the 2nd Who Came beat the PO. Of course it's a rare and courageous theory these days because there's tons of evidence the other way now. Not the least is that the dragons call the Primordial One the "Usurper". You have to say, no, they are confused and got it wrong and say the 2nd is the usurper. This makes no sense. Both note that the Usurper loves their humans. But it is the PO that loves and created humans. Plus wouldn't they remember which god they were attacked by and attacked again? And if they remember the PO and just never mention it then why would they say the 2nd is the usurper? From their perspective the 2nd would be a liberator. Plus the Lord of the Night says the PO, the master of the 4 shades, is the heavenly principles not a creature made by the 2nd who came. Plus how is this creature made by the 2nd who came the first Descender when clearly the PO, the shades and the 2nd Who came all are there before the HP? This theory makes no sense. Why is the 2nd protecting humans when they are the PO's humans? How does the PO throw down Nails against the Abyss if they lost? Or making the seal on Enkanomiya? How can Neuvillette say the Usurper lost functionality in the war if the dragons never encountered a full strength usurper/2nd who came? And on and on and on and on. It really is nonsense. How do you even "subjugate a shade"? They are just aspects of the PO - you said. How can they turn on themselves? and there's no mention of anything even remotely like this going on. Even ignoring all the contradictions, the "theory" is completely unsupported. OK at this point I can't take this seriously. I'll have another stab at it tomorrow. Augh. it's nonsense so bad. You say the dragons had the "war of Vengeance" against the 2nd when by your own account they had nothing to take revenge for -- since this new guy never fought with them. Revenge for nothing and calling it the Usurper when it usurped nothing. Plus you end up needing TWO world destroying wars. Or wait - maybe the "Skywar" will make it three? Couldn't be the same war described with three different names obviously. Did the moons get destroyed in all three wars? Did the Seelies get cursed in all 3? OK OK enough.
I guess you're diving into the usual HI3 = Genshin stuff, even though no theory based on that stuff has ever worked. These theories are founded on vagueness because getting specific would immediately make them falsifiable and then they'd be falsified. What does Shade X "is" {random character from HI3} even mean? You don't say. It's left for anyone to paint in with their own prejudices so it's all vague and nothing can be contradicted. And so it's worthless. As a "theory" it tells us nothing. It makes no predictions. It's unfalsifiable junk. Tell me one single thing that your identification of all the 4 shades and the PO with various HI3 characters predicts about the Shades or the PO. If the answer is "nothing" then what was the point of making this guess to begin with? Why do people love to accuse MiHoyo of plagiarizing their own games or other lore like this? For $100 million dollars I would expect a more original story. Any theory is improved by removing stuff like this.
@@ShadowXImpact isn't that before Genshin became very popular to the point it dwarfs HI3 in popularity? And not only that, the GI team especially the writing team have tried to distance itself from HI concepts as if they are making GI become its own thing.
@@Sacration I remember that being mentioned in game. Isn't that also where Raidens friend went to fight before they came back n attacked her?
@@Sacration the problem is that it's from records of Jueyun, so like i say later in the video, it's a made-up folk tale based on some truth, which in this case it would be pretty easy, since we know that one for the moons (the alive one, by the way) is in the abyss. So, that's simply where the Seelies were banished to, the abyss, also considering it being the trashcan of Teyvat and the Seelies weren't useful anymore.
Where is it said the thing about Inazuma?
Yes indeed, it is mentioned in game a few times but I dont remember where exactly @@sinclaire5479

It is mentioned a few times in game books and NPC in Inazuma, in Raiden second story quest it is mentioned also (I think)... now that I remember it, it is also mentioned by Dainsleif in Raiden Collected Miscellany.

5:14 one thing about the 5th artifact. Anyway, the thing that makes me think it's about the heavenly principles (that I think are women, or better yet 1 woman split in three aspects, too, I mean, it's Hoyoverse),, is the fact that the artifacts contain stories, memories stored in the leylines, so they're connected to fate, which is something the Heavenly principles created, so these artifacts began existing only after the heavenly principles descended

And yeah, it would be nice to have a lore book, or even more manga actually!

Translation is my field of study, so I understand the reasons behind those choices, but at the same time, I also realize that checking the original version will always give more insight into what things originally meant to say
i can never keep very good track of the timeline in this game, but i assume that text mentioning the saints long predates the cataclysm. but even so, is it possible there could be some connection between these saints and the sinners of khaenri’ah? i could see it being like some kinda prophetic fate thing or something lol
@@shadycactus6146 yes, that text was written, if I'm not mistaken, around the time Orobashi fell into Enkanomiya.
There could be a relation to the sinners, like they might have acquired part of the saints' powers or they at least made contact with them

The second quote was from a quest where the traveller fought a water elemental that took it upon himself to forge "the blade of reason with a will rivalling the world". at some point (I think after the fight) he noted that the traveller might already qualify.

The recycling of souls that have great ambition and refinement of the qualities that make impossible possible, would eventually turn a possibility into certainty.
Implying that the 2 shades hold the crown( tbh i think its more aking toa halo) while the other 2 have wings.

wait I thought The Primordial One won against the second descender, no?
@@chalo3427 this is honestly something people firmly believe, but I never really understood why. The heavenly principles hid everything that happened and existed before their arrival, which is what both eboshi and Enjou told us in Enkanomiya, but also the whole story of why Orobashi was sentenced to death for reading Before Sun and Moon, and how the people were eventually allowed back to the surface. So, if the Primordial One won the war, why would it hide everything about itself? And why would be the heavenly principles trying to make people believe they're the creators of the world?
@@chalo3427 also, why do people believe the second who came is the second descender, when we were more than clearly told that the Heavenly Principles are the first Descender? Do the people believe the Primordial One is the first descender? A descender is someone who can challenge the fate of the world. The Primordial One created the world, it wouldn't be challenging anything, it'd be managing it's creation
I don't agree with the details of your early chronology. It probably doesn't matter but there's specific reasons why I think you're wrong. Look there I even put that dumb phrase "I think" in there that has no value at all in that sentence, just to make you feel happier. Are you happy? Well let's get to the objections:
* I don't know why you want to say there was no terraforming.

@hypetrail it's not like he's talking to a brick wall, but after being called dumb (and worse things) every single time I say something he doesn't agree with, which is basically every word, punctuation included, I have to show that I'm not as dumb as to being insulted and give the chance to keep up with the insults by responding like I've always done. I treat people with respect, so all I ask for in return, is to be treated just the same. You want to disagree? You're more than welcome to, I'm sharing a theory, I'm not stating absolute truths that you need to believe, but there's a difference between disagreeing and insulting to assert your dominance and your superiority, especially when neither of us really knows the truth (hence, it's a theory), since we're not part of the writers.

unfamiliar with other hoyoverse games, why is honkai impact diacussed for genshin theories??
@@Ketabdar69 what about it?
