Your videos enable me to enjoy more of the complicated music i listen too. Even if i don't master it , I can dig it.
    Always appreciated

Great video again! This is so true. I love working on the practice pad for hours daily, but when I go to the kit I rarely use the exercises exactly. Also what book is that, It actually looks really good! Thankyou!

'Stick Conrtol' by George Lawrence Stone. Basically the bible of sticking and control on the snare and can be applied to kit.
Don't think anyone has ever done a sticking pattern that doesn't already exist in this book (or a variation of!)
Dom Famularo famously did the whole book as written then all on his feet too, then backwards, because, he was Dom 😅

    😂 That "bro" remark...
What is that book you are referring to, if you don't mind, Jay...
Also, why couldn't you use polyrhythms in your everyday playing?... there are quite few drummers/bands who do it.
Or just spice up your fills..

You absolutely could... that's a matter of having them down like any rhythmic vocabulary and using it the same way. and the book is Stick Control, by George Lawrence Stone.

@@Thedrummersalmanac 👍 I have actually been working on it for a while. The book is already on its way here! Thankyou::
