When Americans praise their female musical Legend Cher; I venerate and proclaim the musical prowess of NAA Amaanua ; in fact she’s our Cher equivalent … She sings like a bird and remains very beautiful and elegant… What a 👑Queen 🎼🎤🥇👑
What we are refusing to understand in Ghana is that music does not depend on language to cause even a barrier. When the music and the craft hit the right spot, it has no boundaries. We listen to Swahili songs, we jam with it, we listen to Jamaican songs in their local language, we rock with it. We listen to Daddy Lumba in twi, and we fly with it yeah? So, why talk about the Ga language as a barrier? Nah.
Nana you are a legend I quite remember when wulomei regularly performed at Kumasi Cultural Centre at a place called Anokye Krom where I saw NAA AMANUA in person. I love wulomei songs which I still play now.
Beautiful engagement with the legendary Naa Amanua. Hammer, when it comes to entertainment n interview in Ghana, u have no size. Love how u incorporate the old n new school in your session without any tribalism. May the universe bless your wisdom, bro. Well done!!!👍👍🙌🙌✅🇬🇭
Woooow 🧡❤️❤️ Senior Hammer. Onyankopɔn nhyira nyɛ keseɛ wɔ wo so, na ebi nso w'abusua, ne w'adwumayɛfoɔ ne w'aboafoɔ nyinaa so. Naa Amanua deserves to have her fair share. She's very sound at 70+. I'm happy you brought her on the show.
Thank you very much Hammer for the good work you're doing. Please as you promised do your best to stand in for our mother concerning her royalties. You are a great help to the industry. Love from New Jersey.
The Gas are welcoming and after independence there was a lot of goodwill to welcome everyone to the capital. The Gas harbor a lot of regret because of the disrespect and hatred shown by people coming to settle in Accra. The host of this show has not said a word in Ga to welcome his guest.
Ei Hammer - you keep bringing them out. How do you do it? Keep working that magic - it is amazing seeing amazing musicians like Naa Amanua. Beautiful work
Not intentional, Gas are welcoming ,we have had to learn the akan, especially twi, to help with communication because Akans believe they run Accra. N we have allowed it, this interview for instance, host starts with "embarrassed to use the words he wrote down" so She is forced to speak twi!

Very disrespectful but typical trait of his clan… they respect nobody’s language except theirs…
