It may seem like good advice but it isn't, you shouldn't feel like you dont belong being dinferent isn't so bad. I rather be different than the same as everyone, I am different than most people I don't know anyone who's like me and I like that, you should like if your different, you should like yourself.

This song specifically is about his Ex Amy Lee.
WWE No Way Out 2008 - the first time i heard this, been obsessed with it ever since, great song, time flies..
Fun fact: This song was a part of 2000’s rock drama. It’s about Amy Lee of Evanescence, Shauns (The lead singers) ex. And is a response to the Evanescence’s song “Call Me When You’re Sober” This video even parodies the imagery of Ev’s “Lithium” video during the snowy parts, which was the single following CMWYS.

It's not in response to those songs. The song that everyone THOUGHT was a response was 'Breakdown' but Shaun explicitly stated it was not about Amy and that 'the worst times with Amy were better than the best times with this girl'. I agree that the snow parts of the clip have a striking resemblance to Lithium but Amy has never confirmed that Lithium is even about Shaun. That was a review of the album, "a writer for The Daily Princetonian concluded that "Call Me When You're Sober" and "Lithium" from The Open Door were both dedicated to Lee's ex-boyfriend Shaun Morgan".
Amy told everyone that 'Call me when you're sober' was about Shaun but has never once said Lithium was so that makes no sense for Shaun to reference a video clip for a song that Amy never said was about him. If he was patting a wolf in the video then THAT would be an obvious reference to the song we know was about him.
Shaun also stated he would never lower himself to her level and write a song that publicly dragged her. Parts of this song may be about Amy but it's not a response to anything.
Lithium is literally just about taking lithium..If you've ever been on it, it's obvious..and part of the issues they had was her not taking her meds. I get it the stuff sucks, been there but it was one of their issues...then again, I like them both but they both had alot of shit going on in both of their lives

Shaun Morgan is truly one of the most underrated front men of rock. The first verse gives me goosebumps.
My brother was really into seether back in high school and he told me about this band about 5 years ago and I found this song when we were going to go Walmart around the same time. I instantly fell in love with this song. Thank you, Dolton, for finding a rock band i actually love.

He's publicly stated that Breakdown was pretty much written about Amy. I think they both have numerous songs written about the other if you look at their albums from that time period.

Jesus Christ, so we've gone from comparing Seether to Nirvana, to comparing Seether to Nickelback??? What has happened to the world? I don't hate any of those bands, but you have to understand, the Nirvana/Seether comparison is far more true than Nickelback. Sure Morgan and Kroeger have similar voices but the lyricism, the instrumentals and the patterns of the songs are incredibly different. Do not associate bands based on vocals alone. A Perfect Circle and Tool are incredibly different sounding, and they share the same vocalist! So does Slipknot and Stone Sour.

I posted this two months ago, and the comments section exploded calling Seether Nickelback ripoffs. I was extremely confused. Nirvana I can understand, since Morgan actually idolized Nirvana growing up and emulates a lot of quirks from Nirvana's writing style.

You know, back in the day when it was thought people would be taking pictures of the world in front of you, the front facing part was meant for low-resolution calls, and given the cost it made more sense to put the much higher quality one facing the world. So, cringe on that.
