One thing i would change from this house is putting all the shoes out in the coridors and putting things on top of the coffee table, putting things out in the open like that. Other than that kai's house is what i want. Spacious, empty, neat, with no sigh of someone living there, like a model house.

I always wondered why idol have such “empty” home when they live on their own. Then I remember a majority come from living in a crowded apartment with like 5+ other people. So it makes sense why a lot of idols tend to have a very”plain” style of living when they finally live on their own.
Plus they’re quite busy so I can imagine it’s less of a hassle to clean a simple apartment than an overly cluttered one ~
I know that minimalistic is now the trend but I like to see some things in a house that makes it seem more like a home than a hotel. Just a bed and a table is boring and white walls as well if the furniture isn't black 😂

i actually think they hide super personal belongings such as picture frames and etc before the crew arrives to shoot. you know, to avoid issues. still, i agree with you.
It's more like a cultural thing. Most Korean homes dont have a lot of furnitures. And then idol houses usually are bigger than an average house so it's even more noticeable how little furnitures they have. If you visit a normal Korean house, most likely the living room has a set of sofa against the wall, and a TV against the opposite wall. Maybe a fan or rug somewhere and that's about it.
The thing I like most about this house.....is its minimalistic style. In future, when I buy my own house I'd love to keep it simple and elegant like Kai's

The editors did a really good job at showing a lot of Kai's home without revealing the full layout. Just from trying to piece together the floorplan by watching the episode, they made some deliberate cuts to make you think you know where everything is, but if you re-watch closely, you'll realize some of it doesn't make sense. And even whole spaces/rooms weren't shown. Whats behind the "secret" doors in the black padded wall? And the door on the left @ 2:54? That's a huge apartment omg.

Maybe that is his bathroom or smthing as u can see it didnt show in the clip. The main door is on the left 02:30 and connected with the door at the study too. Its kinda like one bathroom with 2 exit i think..
Yeah I realized they skipped 2 doors before going to the dressing room. I know one of them is a bathroom (possibly the slightly opened bright room), but the other might be either a storage / a room Kai wanted to keep private

kai's power in exo is teleportation, I find it connected to his house cause one time u r in the bedroom, then after that he can be in his office with one swift move, without even passing to his living room.

Its obviously not a sliding door. I think the door knob/handle only avail for the pull side of the door to open as u can see at 02:50 and not needed on the push side.
