Tell me again how close the MVP race is and the stolen bases are just a storyline. Acuna is a freaking legend. This year will not be forgotten for a very long time. What a way to do it too. Had to have both of those.
I am so happy that I was at this game and got witness history being made!!! Ronnie with the first EVER 40/70 season in MLB history, and then his best buddy Ozzie driving him in on the very next pitch! When I say Truist park was rocking, I truly mean it, never heard that place so loud! Hands down the best Braves game I've ever been to!!
THE MVP RACE IS OVER NOW!!! ...... ACUNA HAS THIS IN THE BAG. Just the overall sequence of events SOLIDIFIED why Acuna IS THE MVP. RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to TIE the game. He stole 2nd base (making history with his 70!) and scored the WINNING RUN on a RBI single from the next hitter (Ozzie). That's the embodiment of the MVP. The FIRST player in MLB History to have a 100 R (could get 150 runs scored) 40+ HR 100+ RBI 1.000+ OPS season from the Leadoff spot. (All of his at bats have come from the Leadoff spot. (Mookie would be the second with his next HR). But he solified the FIRST EVER 40 / 70 season... while LEADING MLB in Hits, Runs scored, on-base percentage. SB, TOTAL BASES.... second in batting average,, and WAR. He turned in on in September, while Mookie couldn't repeat what he did in August. CONGRATULATIONS TO ACUNA FOR AN HISTORIC SEASON, THE MVP, and hopefully a World Series (that He contributed to help WIN).
I don't know when I last experienced such a feel good moment like I did tonight's game in the bottom half of the 10th inning, this had a World Series atmosphere all over it, no disrespect meant to Shohei Ohtani but Ronald Acuna, jr is the greatest player to come along in baseball in years, this dramatic moment has really super charged me and young Darius Vines didn't pitch a bad game either, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a braves fan but you're crazy if you think Acuna is the greatest player in the league. Ohtani is a great hitter and pitcher. Ronald may have gotten a 40/70 season(rule changes helping him) but ohtani's numbers hitting and pitching are just too great to overlook.
@deucedeuce333 I can call you crazy for the same reason, I don't take anything away from Ohtani as he is a great and unique player but I strongly suspect that he has worn himself out to a degree trying to maintain his two way Stardom, he just had his 2nd major surgery in four years and won't be able to pitch again until 2025, he was so injured that he couldn't even swing the bat anymore this season and he packed up and left before the regular season was over, whoever ends up signing him I wouldn't sign him to a long term contract because he may just be damaged goods, I freely admit that I could be wrong but time will tell.
Definitely feels like they got a little of there swag back this series and are in postseason form. Allmost felt like they were sleepwalking abit after clinching thw division but Definitely glad to see the excitement back.
Two sickening losses in two days. Acuna did it all in the final inning. He got his 70 th and the winning run. This gives the Braves Home field advantage. We may need it with our pitchers down for a minute.
Gracias! I don't know if it's the best team ever but it's a damn good one and one of the best. The Yankees have had a couple of really great teams and the Seattle Mariners had a great team but lost in the division series. So if the Braves win the World Series they still might not be considered better than the 98 Yankees or even the 1927 Yankees.
Acuna invented his own “40-70” club. This man is creating new statistical categories!!! Hand him the MVP right now!! And on top of all the records the team has this year, this season is truly one for the books. #ForTheA #4Life
Now I feel more confident going into the Postseason...the Braves got their mojo back. Congrats Acuna on getting to 40/70. A great team win all the way around! ⚾🙂👍 The Cubs announcers were upset Acuna took second base and gave it to the dugout...they said he should've waited until after the inning...lol I bet if it was the Cubs they would've been celebrating just like the Braves did. 🤣
Hate it that the Braves had to play the playoff spot contending Swanson and David Ross of the Cubs but we need to get home field advantage in the playoffs!
It's almost a guarantee at this point they'll get it. They only need one more victory or an Orioles loss, and there are 4 more games left in the season, our last 3 against the Nats.
😮 truly amazing definitely greatest season I ever witnessed all around team was damn good too what legendary moment for him and the team also ⚾️ #Ronald Acuña Jr. for MVP! 🎉#ATL
The umps need to be replaced already. Give me the robots. This is just ridiculous 😂 FYI my King Acuna did it. Dude is just on another level this year. Making history.
It’s a shame the cubs announcers couldn’t appreciate what acuna achieved. Let him have his moment. He was the first MLB player to achieve 40/70 in a season.
If u seen Mookie play 2nd SS RF at the level we've never seen, you would give a little repect to the guy. Nevertheless 40-70 was never achieved by any player, so Acuna has earned it.
@@SuperDman82Are you high? We have seen what happened in 2021 with a bunch of rent a players. 2022 was different because we chased down the Mets and had a de facto NL East Championship Series in Atlanta.
If Acuna doesn't win the MVP than that would be a moral crime against the game of Baseball, nothing against Mookie Betts but what does he really have on Ronald? anyone arguing on Betts behalf is simply dishonest, I'm sorry.
Add ESPN to the list of 'everything in Georgia is baaaad, umkay.' If acuna had half the press Betts gets for nothing then the MVP race would have been locked up months ago
@@wesleygary6651 Throughout this season Acuna has ranged from very hot to average and to very hot again while Betts was hot only in August and pretty much ice cold all of this month, the MVP recipient is a no brainer.

Well said, totally agree!! Ever since that dodgers series Acuna has taken his game to next level!!
💯💯
RONALD HAS GONE FULL SUAVEMENTE 🕺🔥🍻
Man this braves team is fun🤟
Wish I could have been there! What a performance. Well done to all players for such a great game.
凄いなアトランタ・ブレーブス🎉
@@lawrencescott1048ohtani is a str8 up better hitter
@@Jerrynyc424 I disagree.
@@Jerrynyc424 If Ohtani's a better hitter, why does Ronald have a better average than him?
This game should've been over after the ^9, but wow did we make a spectacle of the rest of it. THAT FELT LIKE A PLAYOFF GAME, GO BRAVES!
El mejor equipo jamas visto en la historia de las grandes ligas felicidades para atlanta
#ForTheA #4Life
Amazing season so far! Go Braves!!
Ronald is the MVP
No Doubt
man MLB must be relieved that the Braves came back and won, if they had lost by a run after that umpire botch job it's be a long day tomorrow
Just 4 more HRs by the Braves to tie another 2019 Twins record of most HRs by a team in a single season with 307.
Now I feel more confident going into the Postseason...the Braves got their mojo back. Congrats Acuna on getting to 40/70. A great team win all the way around! ⚾🙂👍
The Cubs announcers were upset Acuna took second base and gave it to the dugout...they said he should've waited until after the inning...lol I bet if it was the Cubs they would've been celebrating just like the Braves did. 🤣
Oh, this series got their killer instinct back
Despite the injuries, this is the excitement and hard play the Braves need to win the World Series.
Congratulations to my mvp let's get it braves I'm proud of you guys
Hate it that the Braves had to play the playoff spot contending Swanson and David Ross of the Cubs but we need to get home field advantage in the playoffs!
It's almost a guarantee at this point they'll get it. They only need one more victory or an Orioles loss, and there are 4 more games left in the season, our last 3 against the Nats.
I only wish their manager could have been in for this game…pitiful call on that foul ball. Love these Braves💞
How's that Cubs trade looking now Swanson???🤪
GO ALL THE WAY BRAVES!!!!!
What a game last night!! 🎉
I like this pitcher Vines
Braves Champion 💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 que maldito juegaso 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
😮 truly amazing definitely greatest season I ever witnessed all around team was damn good too what legendary moment for him and the team also ⚾️ #Ronald Acuña Jr. for MVP! 🎉#ATL
What a historic season!!!! Love these guys! Top to bottom the best in base ball!
The umps need to be replaced already. Give me the robots. This is just ridiculous 😂
FYI my King Acuna did it. Dude is just on another level this year. Making history.
I hope Ozzie gets his chance in the spotlight someday! What a game he had.
Thank you! I love Acuna but Ozzie is my favorite Brave.😅
It’s a shame the cubs announcers couldn’t appreciate what acuna achieved. Let him have his moment. He was the first MLB player to achieve 40/70 in a season.
¡Vamos Acuña!
It’s a good time to be a braves fan checking in from Thomasville !!!! Go Bravos
That foul ball call makes me scared for the future of MLB baseball. These umpires are getting worse and worse🤔😞
Fr. They robbed vines. Vines deserved better on that call. Thankfully we still won due to Acuna and Ozzie’s clutch
Just.... wow.
I love my Braves @ go Braves
So glad Acuna got those bases. MVP should be on lock at this point.
It was a lock three weeks ago.
What a WILD RIDE this 2023 season has been!!!
Good win for the Braves tonight and congrats to Ronald
Este line UP es increíble yo creo que es un equipo de década
Holy Cow! WTG Braves #Congrats #13!!!
THIS IS BASEBALL. HELL YES
If a 40/70 season doesn't cement Ronald Acuna as the NL MVP, this league is rigged.
I agree
It's a done deal. Anyone other than Dodgers fans would say the same.
If u seen Mookie play 2nd SS RF at the level we've never seen, you would give a little repect to the guy. Nevertheless 40-70 was never achieved by any player, so Acuna has earned it.
Go Braves Baby We Walked It Off
One of the best braves seasons I have ever seen!
Seasons...yes Playoffs??? sorry dude . Its another first round exit for you guys!!! Maybe next year!!!
@@SuperDman82Are you high? We have seen what happened in 2021 with a bunch of rent a players. 2022 was different because we chased down the Mets and had a de facto NL East Championship Series in Atlanta.
@SuperDman82 This isn't your Georgia Sports Curse Bravos because that Curse was killed by Kirby Smart.
@@SuperDman82 Pretty sure we will get a first round bye lol
This is what every game will feel like. If we accidentally get playoff Morton or playoff Max then we should do fine
Umpires almost had a great win tonight....
Are they flirting w the money line ,what a stupid miss by umps as a group DANG!
IT was Pretty Clear to me and most others too, AND not reviewable CRAZY!
What a game! Let's go Braves! Cubs keep your head up...work on getting those errors under control.
Congrats to the braves on homefield advantage in the playoffs, and congrats to acuña on a historic night 40/70 is not an easy task.
If Acuna doesn't win the MVP than that would be a moral crime against the game of Baseball, nothing against Mookie Betts but what does he really have on Ronald? anyone arguing on Betts behalf is simply dishonest, I'm sorry.
Or simply a dodgers fan... lmao.
@@steveo3530most people who are saying it’s a lock for Betts are Dodger fans or broadcasters. Lol
Add ESPN to the list of 'everything in Georgia is baaaad, umkay.'
If acuna had half the press Betts gets for nothing then the MVP race would have been locked up months ago
@@wesleygary6651 Throughout this season Acuna has ranged from very hot to average and to very hot again while Betts was hot only in August and pretty much ice cold all of this month, the MVP recipient is a no brainer.
I'm a Dodger fan and can assure you that Ronald Acuna will win the MVP. It shouldn't even be a discussion at this point.
Umpires need to be better . Game should've been over in the 9th
I wonder if it crossed the batters mind to admit the ball hit his bat? Maybe taboo but it’d be very respectable
This team will go down in history as one of the many dominant Braves lineup. Can’t wait to see them carry the momentum into October. Go Bravos, and hope the marlins knock the cubs out of the wildcard after the Chicago announcers.
Acuna is my favorite player.
He is the best player of this year.
Legend BRAVES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You did it!!!! Boy!! You did it !!!!
So proud of my Braves and Ronald, I think more proud than Messi!!!From Argentina! Go Braves!!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was fitting to see Swanson dodging the celebration
great to see a game where the lead changes hands. THat decision over the foul tip was truly appalling. I thought "technology" was supposed to prevent injustices like that from happening?
Get off your knees Ump, you're blowing the game
