This method of, this approach to, crop & animal husbandry.... you could do it 24/7, for MANY CONSECUTIVE GENERATIONS and you will not make ANY progress whatsoever.
In the old days, when it was really hard to GLEAN (to learn) from more successful people and cultures --- in terms of HOW they grew crops and tended to animal livestock to make them so wealthy, so fast --- it was understandable that our ancestors didn't/couldn't make much headway.
But that is no longer the case.
All you have to do, these days, is to LOOK UP --- as opposed to always do things "the old fashion way" but looking down at the ground, using your age old routines and practices ---- or to climb that little tree, to climb that that little ladder, to climb that little mountain... to peek at your neighbors, the SUCCESSFUL ONES who've already become rich (whether they 500 or 5,000 miles away), you COULD easily see what they're doing) and LEARN from them: learn their methods and approaches... when it comes to crop and animal farming....
It is, for example, 100% PROVEN FALSE that "if you don't grow rice, corn, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, chilies, onions, cucumbers, pumpkins, and fruits --- and if you also don't raise pigs, chickens, cattle, etc ---- then you wouldn't have enough live on."
THAT APPROACH that the Hmong are still practicing IS NOT THE WAY TO LIVE... not the way to farm for a living.
You MUST choose just ONE CROP or ONE ANIMAL to focus on, to raise, if you want to have "enough to live on."
You only have 24 hours; and 6 to 8 hours are for sleeping; and 3 to 5 other hours, out of those 24 hours, are for cooking, housekeeping, and children raising. And that means, just like most other people from around the world, you only have 6 to 8 hours to do what's needed to live on.
You simply CANNOT spend those 6 - 8 hours doing 4 to 7 things: ----- e.g., doing a small patch of chilies & onions, with a few dozen heads of vegetables and cucumbers and pumpkins... raising fields of rice.... raising 1-3 bulls that need fresh, hard to find, nutritious grasses... 1-3 bulls that ON THEIR OWN needing 1-2 people, 2-3 hours EVERYDAY to find those fresh nutritious grasses 3-5 straight years to grow up to be giant muscled bulls... for NO USEFUL purpose than to see if they could fight and get injured and get slaughtered, after which they each is worth no more than $200 $500, as meats, IF YOU'RE LUCKY...
Again, Hmong can't and SHOULDN'T do that.
Chose ONE THING to focus on.
(#1) If where you live, you easily could find, could buy, or could grow wild grasses --- because, say, they're are a lot of rain/water, sun shine, and soil for easy nutritious grass grown --- then focus on CATTLE RAISING. Fuck the rice or beans or onions or chilies or cucumbers or fruits.
(#2) Or focus on JUST GROWING such grasses. (Borrow money to lease, rent, or buy the ACRES needed for such grass growing activities: that's what EVERY successful farmer in the world has been doing...)
(#3) If where you live, you're able to easily find cheap corn and other feeds (combined or compound feeds are the way to raise animals, NOT feeding them straight up rice or corn), focus on raising EITHER just chickens, or pigs, or cattle... whichever animals YOU are better at, in ways FEW OTHERS could match...
(#4) If where you live, there are FLAT terrains for RICE or CORN or PINEAPPLES or BAMBOO or STRAWBERRIES or whatever MONO-CROP.... then focus on THAT CROP alone...
(#5) If where you live, there is not enough land, or resource, or proper soil or water or temperature or sunshine... for YOUR ONE CROP (animal or grain or fruit or vegetable), the one you wan to focus on, the one YOU ARE GOOD at raising... go find it in another place, in another town.
Don't just stay in some dusty, exhausted patch of mountain side, simply because YOUR ANCESTORS had been living there since the 1800s.... TRYING hard to diving their 6-8 hours growing just corn or rice, two crops that have already EXHAUSTED the top 3 - 6 inches of SOIL (top soil).... in addition to, again, TRYING to raise a few bulls, a few pigs, and a dozen other edibles like herbs (txuj lom, txuj qaib)...
Hmong need to stop doing that.
!00% of the successful to VERY RICH farmers in the world --- in Laos, in Vietnam, in Thailand, in Japan, in Norway, in Belgium, in France, in the USA, in Italy, in Germany, in Canada, in Australia ---- THEY ALL focus on growing ONE CROP:
    mangles
chickens (one kind of chickens, not all kinds) or
    pigs (one kind)
cattle (one kind: for milk or for meat, NOT for bull fighting and useless shit like that) or
    rice
    corn
    bananas
    pineapples
    berries
    grasses (for animal feeds)
mushrooms (one kind, not every kind)
fish (cat fish, bass, tuna, or fish for caviar harvesting, which is way too technical for Hmong)
    chilies
or DOGS ... one kind, if you think you Asians like to eat dog meats a lot and raising ONE kind with good meats would get you tons of customers, from Hmong to Vietnamese to Lao consumers...
It doesn't matter what CROP (or animal) you pick. If you pick ONE crop, one animal... so you could become an EXPERT at it, your chances of becoming prosperous and even rich... such probability improve dramatically after some initial time/years/learning curve....
And close to 100% of whether a people or a society will become successful --- not necessarily one person or another but ONE PEOPLE and ONE NATION, at the larger scale ---- depends on whether or not they SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL.
The Chinese, the Japanese, the Taiwanese, the South Koreans, the Americans, the French, the Germans, the Norwegians, the Italians, the Dutch, the Fins, the Canadians, the Australians... they all have moved on, AS A SOCIETY, to the next level... because they send their kids to SCHOOL...
At school, children learn BOTH concrete and abstract things. They don't just learn 1+2 or 1/2 - 3/4...
They also learn to make DEDUCTION and EXTRAPOLATION.
They learn about the "length" of a "meter stick;" but they also learn about what it means to measure in small, smaller, and extremely small "lengths," like 1/10 of a meter.... 1/1,000,000 of a meter.... 1/1,000,000,000 of a meter, etc.
So, if we're lazy but we want SOMEONE ELSE to look up some basic information for us --- assuming we could check the details ourselves, if we HAD to --- and what we wanted to know is: How many ATOM THICK is a single strand of HUMAN HAIR, from an average strand of hair (not the smallest or biggest but an average strand of human hair):
We could ask ChatGPT or Google's Gemini something like the following: ---
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Question: What is the thickness of a single strand of hair, in terms of atoms arranged side by side?
Answer: A single strand of hair is approximately 50 micrometers thick.
To convert this to atoms, we need to know the approximate diameter of an atom. A typical atom is around 0.1 nanometers in diameter.
    Let's convert micrometers to nanometers:
    1 micrometer = 1000 nanometers
So, the thickness of a strand of hair in nanometers is:
    50 micrometers * 1000 nanometers/micrometer = 50,000 nanometers
Now, to find the number of atoms that could fit side by side across the thickness of the hair, we divide the thickness by the diameter of an atom:
    Number of atoms = 50,000 nanometers / 0.1 nanometers/atom = 500,000 atoms
Therefore, a single strand of hair is roughly 500,000 atoms thick.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Someone could be lucky and randomly pick the numbers of America's biggest lotteries and become an instant millionaire or they could walk across a creek and find a fish size chunk of GOLD or a big toe size diamond and sell it for a few tens of thousands of dollars.
    But, that's individual happenstances.
Over-all, for ANY PEOPLE OR SOCIETY to became rich, educated, and/or advanced, they MUST, first, send their children to SCHOOL, to be taught how to read, write, and do mathematics.... at an increasingly sophisticated rate and degree... from ages of 3, to 5, to 15, to 20, to 25, etc...
You CAN'T EAT AN EDUCATION, as the Hmong like to STUPIDLY phrase it... true...
But with an education, with a good to a really good education... depending what subject matter you focus on --- such as computer science, mathematics, medicine, law, business, agri-businesses, machinery, laser, tool making, astronomical exploration, etc ---- in ONE HOUR, you could CHARGE other people (students and parents) $25 or $50 or $100 or $500 or $5,000 (to "show them how to do it...")
You could, then, use THAT MONEY to buy tons and tons and tons of RICE (if you're an Asian and you WILL DIE without eating rice 3 times a day).... and you will never have to grow rice again, or any other crop...... for the next 5,000 generations....

Really appreciate for giving your time to share us such a wonderful comment. Your comment is meaningful and truly 100% as our living conditions even these days or in the past. There are some paragraphs make me feel more energized to engage with young people to support them to gather with education because lives might be changed if we have skills and knowledge.
Many thanks brother. Best wishes and regards from Tub VajNcuab 🙏🙏🙏💝💝💝💝💝
