Yep, yellow leaves mean too much water!!! You might want to see if you just need to prune that dead limb off. It may have gotten damaged, so don't drown it trying to save a dead limb!!!😊🎉❤

Put as many marigolds as you can fit in around all squash plants including pumpkin. It really does reduce the white flies and squash bugs. They hate the smell of marigolds and you get a little extra "pretty" in your garden

My dad tried raising rabbits one time for food. They were all white, and adorable. He did butcher one, but he didn’t have the heart to butcher anymore and gave them all away, and that was the end of his raising rabbits..

I was raising beautiful rabbits back in the day. I thought they were going to loving homes. My (then) husband knew they were meat rabbits and I was mortified when I caught on 2 years later🤦🏼‍♀️
Chickens however, zero issues raising and eating....beef cow either🤷🏼‍♀️

I used to run the egg shells in the blender until they were powdery. Then add them into the soil. But this is a slow process, and takes years to build up the soil. Plus side is that they have plenty of egg shells, it’s literally free to make and it’s all natural and will not harm the soil.

I’m in SW Kansas, we always plant our pumpkin in the spring, when we plant the rest of our garden. They do well until the first frost. Pumpkin, like all winter squash will keep for many months ( mine is always gone after 10 months), if stored in a cool dark place, with good airflow. You can use any pumpkin for baking

I read rabbits can have 8-10 nipples and can have up to 12 kits. It’s not the lack of food that kills them, it’s illness or cold. So hopefully she’ll have enough nipples, or be good at juggling her kits around. It does say you can supplement her feedings but to do it in the nest, don’t take them out or she might not accept them back. You’ll know if they have fat bellies but some don’t.
I can’t wait to see how your garden grows. I’m so envious. I’d love to have a garden. I’ll have to live vicariously through you!

That’s great about the bun-buns! The best way to help their survival chances are to select the 4 fattest ones and remove them from the nest on night 3. Make them a nest in a box or big bowl and bring them inside. They miss a meal. Put them back the next day. The next night remove 4 other fattest. Then rinse and repeat, taking only the fattest each night. I have successfully done this on many occasions.
    Everybody gets fed. Everybody survives.

You could also consider putting a few with Mel’s bunny. Slip them in at dark. They may not be close enough in age though. I don’t like to breed just one rabbit at a time. It’s more stressful to me because of this situation. If you have 2 or three breed at same time it’s so easy to adopt large litters out to the ones with smaller litters.

I was hoping thinking maybe bobblehead or dreamers or Jen and Wylie would take the other males.
I was hoping that Jessica's litter would be small enough and females mainly so her first litter could live too. Then yes freezer camp. But with 12.....I would take a male for a pet and maybe another male or female. For pet and garden fertilizer but I'm too far from Arkansas...:(.....could you get them to Kansas or Nebraska? :)
My daughter who is a vet tech is named Jessica :) So we've been interested watching for updates. Maybe at least one or two of Jessica's dozen could go pet or breeder on 41,36? Or what about the family I mentioned or Drew or Gumby or someone...n

Tulsa here..about 4-5 years ago a rose blight swept into town and I had 4 forever roses in one garden and 3 beautiful yellow everblooming roses from Home Depot(these 3 must have been infected when I bought them and they succumbed to the (it’s like a mold…I will try and find the name..my others from Costco were healthy but I didn’t see this coming at all and I must have contaminated my others by not cleaning my shears well enough!!!! Lesson learned…Luckily we had rooted shoots and gave them to a neighbor to grow so after a year of treating the soil from the infection and leaving it bare…we rooted shoots from the neighbors bush and now we have the 4 bushes back!!! 😊…will try to look up that name for you just in case!! It is a virus called rose rosette disease..it hit Tulsa in 2013 and killed the roses in the big municipal gardens and all of our own home gardens are affected…even the knockouts that are suppose to be super resistant!! I would take a photo of the bush and show whoever you bought it from…could just still be in shock too from planting!!

You need to do something about all the grass and you need to maybe have soil you planting in native soil tested see what you need to add you say soil looks good but it needs tilling more garden soil looks hard not light and fluffy looking at other gardens help go get some compose. Your garden area looks like so much of top soil was scraped away or washed away those leaves you have racked all these years should have been saved tilled into your garden maybe you could find a farm willing to sell there compost. Couple channels watch were I stole ideas from Acre Homestead she has had gardens for five years she has a grass killer recipe her dad came and handled her weeds, maybe before planting you can kill weeds and till in more mulch and That 1870’s Homestead 7 years gardener. Couple ones I learned from, hope you have a great season.

Rose leaves turn yellow because the pH of the soil is too high, or there's not enough iron in the soil. It can also be caused by a lack of oxygen when the plants are overwatered or the soil doesn't drain easily.

Helping your rose bush scale back on the watering you may find that the yellowing of leaves go away, plus your drainage in that area might not drain well so you didn't need to water that much sounds like that could be your case here that's why you have yellowing leaves you should water them less like only water roses twice a week in the evening see how that works and if you need to add a day of watering then do so make it 3 days a week.. try that and see if that could be your problem with that bush.

Roxanne get Anthony to build you a greenhouse so you can start your plants early then they will be ready to plant. Whiterock Homestead has one. Think they call it the high tower

I have used a bag of pet cedar shavings around the stems of squash to prevent the squash worm from getting into the stem. It worked! I have now seen were they say to stake up the yellow squash will help with bugs.

22:54 would you be able to put some babies in with the other momma rabbit? We had one that was a full in mom, but I’m not sure if that was a good idea, it just happened to work in our favor.

Feed 4 with eye dropper, or small baby bottle. Every three hrs. I raised squirrels that way.

I try not to use chemicals on the garden, but when the Dawn dish soap and water isn't working I'll get some seven dust and use a duster.

A really good suggestion for your roses put used coffee grounds around the base this will give it a lot more life and usually what happens is it is nitrogen deficient this will fix the issue

The yellow is from to much water. You can deadhead the top of the plant just enough to get rid of the bad spots

I would cut the leaves that are close to the ground on your rose bush. They need air flow. Love the babies.

Rose bush has 3 reasons it might be turning yellow. Over or under watering and soil needs iron.
