My greatest respects for having completed The Arena without dying (and more because you did it in version 1.1.3 where The Father is a terrible headache compared to the last version where they softened him a bit with respect to certain attacks of the wheel of misfortune, thank God).
That mode is really fucked up. It cost me a lot since, like you, I went through it without dying. In my multiple attempts I almost always screwed it up in a silly way and the 4 times I was close to victory I had no luck with The Father (that fight for me requires a lot of that, more than anything that you don't get the most complicated attacks to dodge) fortunately the fifth time was the charm.
I'm curious (although I think I know the answer) Is the achievement "The Champion" obtained after passing The Arena without dying or normally? (I mean, passing the mode despite having lost one of the three lives) since in the achievements part, when that achievement is blocked it only says: "Clear The Arena" but I don't know... I feel that it is more what first.

I have seen the latest update notes and was surprised to see that the now difficult Geezer and the Colonel have been nerfed.
As for "The Champion" achievement, you can get it by defeating the Father regardless of the number of deaths (no death doesn't change anything). Sorry for the complication, my first clear happened to be a no death.
In the end, Smash Daisaku and the Father are all about luck, so it's important how you avoid dying in the other bosses (personally, Catbat was a strong as it was difficult to damage it as quickly as possible).

@@dragonfly193 That's right, I also noticed that they nerfed Schwarlitz's attack, since in the previous version it was difficult with respect to the platforms, since when you try to touch them (whether they come towards you or look for them) many times they make you go up to them and they take you to the spheres that you have to dodge causing a "Game Over". Now that doesn't happen anymore.
Please don't apologize, I'm the one who should apologize to you for thinking and saying that wrong idea. Rather, I thank you very much for telling me the fact that the achievement is obtained without having to do everything without dying. 🙏
I totally agree with you and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks that Smash Daisaku and The Father depend much more on luck, with the first being that in the first phase they don't repeat a specific attack so much over and over again (in the new version they modified it to make it less annoying, again thank God) and with The Father in which the most difficult attacks to dodge from the wheel of misfortune do not touch you (like the anvil where you have to guess what platform you must stay and in turn be careful that these or the boxes do not kill you).
Without a doubt, CatBat is one of the most resistant bosses, in fact it was one of the enemies where I made the most mistakes in The Arena, in my case I made the strategy in which I first fell into the water to carry the small submarine (the one that walks around the stage) towards the other end so that when I was going to attack it, it would not be in my way in case it fell into the water and not on the platform and so on. He focused me more on dodging and I wasn't so quick to damage him often since that was the cause of certain death for me. Either by the submarine, the piranhas or the thorns above you
