Can't wait to see you put what you have learned into action in your own mine. It's great that you are able to get actual hands on experience which is invaluable! Looking forward to your continuing journey.
I love watching you and Jason. I hope you will continue to work together. By the way you guys are working beasts. Hope your channel blasts off, cause I really love your content.
Y'all Are Bad To The Bone!!!!! So excited about You Guys doing this with Jason or visas versa 😊 May God Bless Your adventure with Knowledge, Safety, Lifelong Friendship and Untold Treasures ❤
Sure can tell you are young. The newness hasn't worn off yet. Hard tasks can be fun. When you are older, there is much more pain involved. You have a fine teacher in Jason, he has been around. Water on that drill steel is a must to keep dust down.
Jason is a fine teacher. I'm the oldest guy out of the group at 44. I always gravitate towards physically demanding jobs. Sitting behind a computer triggers a back injury I have. Staying fit is the key. I fractured my back 15 years ago and have bone spurs on my spine. I have to stay in shape or I'll go downhill quickly.
Sweet ! I was looking forward to your production. love your enthusiasm, and earning a skill while learning a skill. Thanks for teaming up with Jason. I would love to know that backstory. All you sitting by the campfire and telling us about it .
Chad Harry you have both went from miners and prospectors to HARD ROCK MINERS. Thank you for sharing the experience. Jason is someone I would gladly work with. At least until he fired me for wasting time looking at too many rocks instead of mucking.
I love you and your videos! I love Jason and his videos. But when you all work together, it’s like the melding of the Time Space Continuum! LOL. I learn so much and you fan the flames of my dream to mine! I so look forward to this step in your own mine! Thank you so much for sharing. Please keep up the good work and allowing us to join you virtually. Mark
Same here... lol But I'm pretty sure, at the end of Jason's last video in this series, he said we would vet to see the blasted wall and muck in the MineOperators video hahahahaha.... this one.
Assuming you guys are learning from Jason so you can get licensed to blast some rock in your own mine. At some point the rock hammers just won't cut it. I'm trying to research on how to get certified as well and one of the stipulations seems to be that you have to get experience with someone who is already experienced and Jason is a great person to learn from. The info on getting certified seems to be mainly aimed at large mining operations and is really hard to dig through - no mention of micro-miner level anywhere that I can find. Hope you guys can talk about the process at some point to fill in the gaps for us. Awesome videos, keep 'em coming!
Hi Alex, we're experiencing the same thing. Someone else who is helping us out is John Norman, licensed blaster and owner of www.accxresearch.com. He has written blasting articles for the www.icmj.com. He recommends taking a class from www.americanexplosivesgroup.com/explosives-blasting-training. I hope this helps. Maybe I'll see you at blasting class. I plan on going next year.
I use to use a Alice pack frame with Cargo Shelve and take the jack leg up in one trip and the Gardner Denver 83 drill up on the next trip then i used the Alice frame to carry my daily load of ANFO, and Nonel detonators I had number of jack leg drills and just left them at the face i was working and only took them out to the shop for repairs. i used a old claymore clacker (M57 Firing Device) that i found at a gun show for my blasting small numbers of electric caps. Never had to worry about dead batteries and always worked.
Cool I fij d your side of the story,, Jason is cool, he open and honest,, as most hard working men are,, and now a found your version of the same day down in the mine with Jason🤔😎💪 , just remembered,, the $ in all them bags of muck😉😉🇺🇸
Watched u guys on Jason's channel. The scene where u 3 are drilling really struck me. Brilliant what a bunch of motivated humans can achieve. Epic viewing, thanks. Why is it you have to guide the drill bit in the hole, does it just need to bite?? That looks like a fairly dangerous job. Fair play !!
Ya the nipper needs to make sure the collar of the hole starts in the desired location. It's challenging but can be done safely. Thanks for your comment!
Great job 💛 I was trying to count the blasts in Jason's and in your video, but they happened so fast, I lost count. That part is still done via a manual count, right? No digital display to ensure that all the sticks ignited and exploded?
9:35 It struck me all of a sudden, why are you not collecting the drill cuttings, do you plan to vacuum after the round has been drilled? Would most likely pay wages for the day, at least it would buy lunch. Should be part of your adventure, gives us Xray eyes as to how rich your round might be. You keep the face clean, vacuuming will be no big deal, but rather profitable. ALWAYS remind yourself that Au is dam heavy and will not travel far and it is up to you how to collect it.
Hi Lothar, we tend to muck everything at the blast. Jason got to pan some drill cuttings and sure showed some nice gold. He wasn't to concerned about it. He figured we'll muck it all up after the blast.
@@mineoperator You, or rather Jason is operating on an assumption. Drill, blast, wash, scale and muck is his cycle. Both of you appreciate the concept of experimentation. The fact that he INITIATED the concept of sampling the drill cuttings told him something valuable. Seeing how your just starting breaking rock, conduct an experiment. Wash down the face after the blast, top to bottom going side to side, after the blast and apply at the end ample volume of water to the lifters, to wash any FG lower into the muck. Like in a gold pan, rake the larger pieces away from the face with your fingers, keeping an eye out for the shiny. Take samples along the lifters, classify and pan each fraction. Information can mean the difference between profitable and a hobby. There is a company that goes into gold mines under contract that washes down stopes, sublevels and haulage levels and vacuums to recover the unseen gold. You have lots of FG in your ore, which will fall out when the quartz is shattered or drilled through.
good to see the process from your point of view Chad, looking forward to you puting your new skills to action on Y'alls mine ... Now you some mucker trucking and drilling phu..... ckers ... ⛏⚒⛏Cheers🍻

Explosives training with Jason is truly being handed the mining batton by greatness
Well done guys. You are learning skills that are disappearing. Good for you to take on this task with Jason! Learn something new every day!
I love watching you and Jason. I hope you will continue to work together. By the way you guys are working beasts. Hope your channel blasts off, cause I really love your content.
Thank you Terry!
"Fell the rhythm, fell the rhyme, get on up, it's jack leg time!"
Great job, MineOperators !!
I know Jason greatly appreciates the help and you can learn alot in the process.
Living the dream looks like so much fun!

That's so easy to do. What's gets you off the hook is when he's distracted looking at rocks too 😉.

Excellent!!
That was great. Bringing that drill up the ladders was rough. Bet ya felt that the next day. ❤ the drilling and blasting too.
Definitely made us stronger 💪.
Ok gotta ask...why not pull the drill up the chute instead of the ladders...?
So amazing
well, that's a blast :)
Looks like fun
Nice work. Can't wait to see what the result was.

Its a Military Ruck Sack with a nice frame. I like them better than the new junk.

Been there, done that.
Great video! Thumbs up! Stay safe! Jim in Phoenix.
Thanks Jim!
Good work, very interesting for me as i spend too much time infront of a computer in the construction industry 🦅🇩🇰
Glad you enjoyed Charlie. Thanks for watching 👀!
Best part of mining...Kabooooom...blowimg the hell out of those rocks😅😅 great job again guys
Sure was! Glad you enjoyed the video and got to share in the fun.

I just subscribed!!!
Welcome aboard Alex! More vids coming soon 😉.
When do you think Jason will process that ore guess I'll have to wait for the video to find out nice job now back to the desert
Great question 🤔. I'll find out. I know he really wants to pour a 10ozt bar 😉.
@@mineoperator just got through watching Jason's video and you guys mucking quite interesting hard work for sure
👍👊⛏
I hate Jason for the way he left us all hanging in suspense at the end of last week's video from the mine :D
That was slick! 😅
You have a rope on the chute, why not drag the drill up that with somebody on the ladder to fix snags?
Oh to be young again I'd loved to do this just to do it. Theres coal to mine here but thats it.
That's one of the main reasons why we decided to start a RUclips channel. Just to share our experience and adventures with those adventurous at heart.
@@mineoperator I love it. I’ve watched most of your videos twice if not more. Keep it up
What kind of music do you play in the mine? I can imagine the acoustics are either good...,or terrible. Personally, I would play some ZZ Top.
The acoustics in a hardrock mine are rad!
Absolutely ZZ Top! We just can't afford their copyright fees lol. I like listening while welding.
When the cameras are off, Country or ACDC
Great job 💛
I was trying to count the blasts in Jason's and in your video, but they happened so fast, I lost count.

Yes, still counted manually. I know, it's hard to do.
You guys better protect your lungs
We absolutely agree. There are no dust particles whatsoever while wet drilling. Only water vapor. We have double hearing protection on as well.
