The hot glue on the carpet is just to add more friction to the rug. That way it doesn't slide around as much
They are not gluing it to the floor, they are letting the glue dry on the rug first.
Came here to say this and compare it to non-slip socks hospitals use.

The mat one actually seems pretty useful. It looks like they let the glue dry before putting it to the floor so they just made more traction not permanently placed it which is actually kinda smart, I might use that some day

Honestly, I bought a glue gun JUST because of 5 min-crafts. I was pretty young back then and they made it seem like a fix for EVERYTHING.
The best thing it fixes is unburnt skin.

When my son or I am not feeling well, put but a bit of cleaner in the puke bucket. It really helps with the smell.
I use bread tags to label my cables and wires plugged into the surgery protector.
I have 1 cat, when I buy her litter, I get the multicat stuff.
To do lists! When cleaning the house, I make a title for each room and under it make a check list of each thing that needs to be done. It cuts a big job into little ones and it's not so overwhelming.

One thing that I started doing pretty recently is keeping the lid to my old mouthwash bottle, and use that as a rinse cup after brushing teeth since it is already the perfect amount to rinse my mouth with and I can use it longer than a paper cup and can get a new one the next time I use up all of my mouthwash.

Jayus, with the coke thing- just use any citrus fruit. Literally, boiling lemon juice, or having a citrus fruit juice left in your toilet for a while will clean it. I’m not sure if it would work with coke but you never know.
Please don't use coke. I'm willing to bet that the sugars within Coke will actually separate from the liquid when you boil it off and just make the whole thing grosser.

This was so entertaining 😂 I can actually attest to the coffee filter to clean glass or screen surfaces because it doesn’t leave behind the flakes and streaks that paper towels do. We use them at Starbucks to clean the drive thru windows and the glass on the food case

Your life hacks are WAAAYYY better for sure!! I love your videos and reactions to things you're awesome!! And i always use a bic lighter to open my glass bottles, wrap your thumb and index finger around the bottle about 1/4inch to 1/2inch below the bottom of the cap, prop the bottom edge of the lighter on the lip of the bottle cap over the top of your index finger and push the outside of the lighter down while you squeeze your fingers together around the bottle, it's WAY easier than I make it sound haha describing it is a little harder

Hey the hot glue on the bottom of the rug thing probably works, as long as you let it dry first. My grandma used to add drops of hot glue to the sole of fuzzy socks to make non slip socks. Just make sure it's dry first and it adds nice grip lol
Hot glue is actually amazing. I use it all the time! And you can absolutely remove it from tile, so it probably won't be the reason you're not hlgetting your deposit back. Unless you get it on the carpet then you're fucked lmao
