Here's the problem, majority of our entire population are addicted to alcohol, xanax, Adderall, anti depressants etc. homeless or not. That lack of solution based role models alongside the lack of accountability regarding our broken welfare system = an unsustainable circus. I've had a life applicable blueprint for quite some time but the people in power won't internalize irrefutable logic that stems from first hand experience. Especially when it comes to an individual with my appearance. RESPECT 💯

They dont evaluate you when they hospitalize you. They force you on a 72 hour hold and a 14 days hold if they see you still talking nonsense.
The guy does get a nice stay for a while at the outpatient center . He was likely put on a 5150.

The homeless problem in Oxnard and Ventura has become completely intolerable, I can't go to a gas station without getting approached by some crackhead asking for money I can't even go through a drive-thru without getting approached. I'm sure that most people are tired of this and something more needs to be done, they need to make vagrancy and panhandling so uncomfortable for the offenders that it is no longer viewed as a viable option

      MR JIMENEZ,
THE HOMELESS PROBLEM THAT HAS FESTERED AND PERMEATED THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF OXNARD FOR YEARS IS JUST A REFLECTION OF THE PAST AND PRESENT POOR LEADERSHIP IN CHARGE OF THE CITY OF OXNARD. FOR YEARS THERE HAS BEEN A REACTIONARY LEADERSHIP INSTEAD OF A PRO ACTIVE LEADERSHIP. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM THE CITY IS FACED WITH IS, NO ONE IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THE PROBLEMS THE CITY OF OXNARD IS FACED WITH IN MY OPINION.THE ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS FAIL TO ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE PRESENTLY IN PLACE TO ERADICATE THE PROBLEMS THAT PERSIST IN THE CITY OF OXNARD. IN MY OPINION, WE PRESENTLY HAVE ELECTED OFFICIAL THAT HAVE BEEN IN OFFICE FOR OVER 14 YEARS AND THE PROBLEMS PERSIST AND ARE ONLY GETTING WORSE. THE OTHER PROBLEM IS, IT APPEARS TO ME THE PRESENT ELECTED LEADERSHIP IS INCAPABLE OF COMING UP WITH SOLUTIONS AND REMEDIES TO THE GROWING PROBLEMS IN OXNARD. THE POLICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO BE MORE PRO ACTIVE IN ENFORCING THE LAWS PERTAINING TO VAGRANCY AND LOITERING. FAILURE TO ENFORCE THE LAW WILL ONLY PERPETUATE THE HOMELESS PROBLEM, VAGRANCY AND PANHANDLING AMONG OTHER SERIOUS PROBLEMS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF OXNARD. I SHARE YOUR CONCERN AND FRUSTRATION MR JIMENEZ. DEMAND THAT THE ELECTED MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS GIVE THE CITY MANAGER AND THE POLICE A DIRECTIVE TO ENFORCE THE LAWS PERTAINING TO VAGRANCY AND LOITERING AND PANHANDLING THROUGHOUT THE CITY IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND SAFETY FOR ALL OXNARD RESIDENTS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU MR JIMENEZ. HAVE A NICE DAY.
P.S. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN OXNARD CA, AT THE LYNING HOSPITAL ON 5th STREET.
