How to Camber a Plane Blade Without a Grinder

However, if you don’t have a grinder, that doesn’t mean that you can’t camber your plane blades. You can get the same amount of camber using only a honing guide and a coarse stone. So in today’s video I’ll show you how to camber a plane iron without a grinder.

Yep. I use this technique not just for cambering, but for lots of things. Try it when you’re flattening the back of a chisel or plane iron too. It will really highlight the low spots.
