Most excellent floral arrangement by Mrs. H today! SOTD I be will taking my new Karve Overlander on its maiden run using Stirling Soap’s Lemon Chill, Stirling Soap Lemon Chill mentholated WH, Caswell/Massey Number Six aftershave, and followed up with Nivea post shave balm. Great shave Paul💈💈 Beautiful flowers today and very fitting for the 4th of July here in the states, thanks Mrs H. The brush is nice as well and TOBS is certainly top shelf. There's something about TOBS Sandalwood, exquisite scent! SOTD: Chiseled Face "Sherlock" soap/splash, RazoRock "400" aluminum brush, Parker "Variant" razor w/Personna Red blade, alum, witch hazel and Nivea balm to finish...Glorious. Nice video and results of today's shave, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hi Paul, greetings from Texas! Yet another stunning floral display by Mrs H!
My SOTD: Gillette black beauty 105 with a Feather blade (2nd use) 3 passes and pickups, all on #7. TOBS Royal Forest shaving cream, aftershave lotion and aftershave cream. Alum. Eucalyptus witch hazel. TOBS Royal Forest products were just received from West Coast Shaving. Nice, fresh scent.
Another enjoyable Sunday shave and, as I've come to expect, a colorful display by Mrs. H. I enjoy TOBS sandalwood shaving cream, and it never disappoints. I can't imagine temps over 100˚F without air conditioning. So far our summer temps have been milder than normal. So far we've not had any highs above 92˚F. Hopefully, your heat wave will end soon.
Out standing shave, and mrh, lovely flowers. I have to say in my opinion, Pearl makes some nice inexpensive razors. My sotd was my rockwell 6c with a derby blade. I used Tobac soap and brut classic splash. Nice together. Motd for me is going to be going out to a local mexican joint. Have a great week
Good morning Paul! A nice calm rainy day here in the Harz mountains. I had a fabulous shave today using PAA Son of Honeysuckle. Wow what a nice scent. I also used the star jelly after shave. Fabulous. Merkur 15C with 3rd time use Bolzano. A day for working today. Me and the Mrs. have to go in to our respective jobs today. Hoping you have a great Sunday and a lovely dinner with the family. Sending peaceful vibes to all.
Great shave as always. 112 degrees F. Here in Arizona yesterday. Only going to get hotter. Time for the menthol shaves..

Hi Paul. For me, carts do get very close but usually at the cost of bumps & ingrowns. Not so with safety razors which also offer leagues more variety in cost, utility, quality and collectibility - which opens up the vintage category. I still get some of my best shaves with a vintage Gillette. Finally, the safety razors just have that "cool factor", especially the vintage Gillette adjustables. The Slim Adjustable was cool enough for James Bond, Have a great week.

Hi Paul. Another good shave and floral display from Mrs H. How does the TOBS soap compare with the cream? Might pick some up (along with some mentholated soap in case we do have a heaywave 😅)
Thank you Andrew, for me the soap is more of a classic sandalwood scent, but both are very slick and work so well, yes get that mentholated soap in...lol.
Use a single-edge razor and you'll be never wrong or sides or azimouth's ...
What is better: using double-edge blade/razors use for 2 times or single edge razors using once ... dont't include Feather-type SE blades, just regular DEblades or just cut in half DEblades ... not including Opinel Blades!
