Great video. I graduated from cosmetology school three years ago now. I was hired as a hair stylist part time right after school and six months later I was offered full time. That’s what I’ve been doing ever since and I absolutely love it.
Congrats on starting this journey!! I started cos school in August and it’s the best💞. Stay true to yourself and always remember why you started! I’ve seen so many people come and go. Wish you the best!!

No I’m going to Rituals Cosmetology Institution. I would go to that one because it sounds AMAZING, but my city only has 3 schools, and Rituals was the best out of the three.

What I learned on my first day of beauty school .... never wear sleeves like that 😭😂 they get in the way of EVERYTHING. super sad bc I had bought so many of that style before school

I wouldn’t recommend the mario badescu spray, I’ve heard from skin care specialists that they have a bunch of alcohol in them which just dry out your skin.

You are 100% correct its bad for your skin if it doesnt affect you now itll affect you later my cousin had a pimple and used it then broke out even more in that area

I just kinda graduated without a graduation yet cuz corna, but Im honestly really set on being a Dental hygienist and they have that here where I live but I would also love to do cosmetology as a second job I just wouldn’t know when to start, but where where I’m at you can be one in less than a year I believe. Do you think it would be too much?

@@profile5361 well week 1 was nothing but book work I’m about to go into week 11 now. Not all cosmetology schools are the same though. I’m in theory right now so we do hands on plus a lot of book work

hey there,please help me about financial aid ,FAFSA. honestly i am new to USA i am just immigrating and dont know much about costs for books or cost of stuffs need for cosmetology. i cant afford it and want to know if FAFSA pay for cost of school beside books and all stuffs or not, thanksssss
Fafsa just helps with loans and stuff they give you money to help to begin with but then you need to pay it off

There is actaully high schools that provide cosmotology school in it and moat are free so you can go out of high school with you cosmo license.

I don’t know if you’ll see this, I hope you do, but do you have any advice for parents who aren’t supportive of this career path. Cosmetology is my dream, but my parents don’t support it and I’m having a hard time telling them I want to do it
I’ve had a lot of people tell me they struggle with this and all I can say is it’s your life and you need to do what’s going to make you the happiest. Just remember the career you choose is something you have to do your whole life so you need to love it.

OMG!!! We're on the same page! I am 22 and turning 23 this year and still struggling to figure out a career. I am thinking of being a hair stylist but have anxiety worry that I'll screw someone's hair up and would feel so shitty after... Also I am worried about getting clientele because I do understand this is a business so it's all about have clients... I'm struggling with life.... Im still disappointed in my parents/family for not allowing me to pursue the career as a Funeral Director/Embalmer which was what I've been wanting to do but.... I can't.

My wife wanted to be a cosmetologist. I showed her the average pay and convinced her to find a better career, she is pursuing a career in nursing.
good for her! although the average pay isn’t always accurate. You can make WAYYYY more than the average pay
And there’s celebrity cosmetologists that are making triple what your wife is making. Good job on ruining her dreams and possible success. Hope you realize you’re a shitty husband.
