Hey RaeRae! To answer your first question, I think it is a nay. Your hair after applying the slime does not even look like you applied a gel type product to it. Yes, I won! I see the product eventually gave flakes also! Thanks for giving an honest review of this line. I probably won't be trying this one. Thanks for sharing!
I have this line too. I did care for any of the products except to 92 mineral mask. My hair loves the mask. The curl slime I used twice. Once for a wash n go and then a twist out. I did not get flakes , but my hair shrunk up so much and I didn’t like that. Thank you for the detailed review.

I did get this collection n have yet to use them… I’m going to hope for the best 🤞🏽🤞🏽 but I really hate products that leave a coat on my hair… lol ummm yeah I have been waiting to use these, now I’m like not so much, TFS ✨✨✨
Thank you for the review! I have never had a good experience with the Curls stylers. I tried the blueberry bliss & the only one I like is the deep conditioner. The leave in & gel flaked on me. I turned me off so I returned the shampoo/leave in conditioner & gel back to Target.
I knew it wasn’t going to work. I could tell when it was wet because it was frizzy. Same for my hair. I have the leave in and mousse. Hopefully I will get more definition. My hair is coily so if it’s frizzy upon application it’s definitely gonna be a no.

I knew it was a NAY for several reasons. #1. There is a discrepancy in the name and directions. The slime as pictured on website says to use by itself. However, the website calls it a shine jelly and says to use over the cream. Then the slime is actually a jelly. #2. I used the slime as directed with nothing underneath. It had great slip. The result were shiny. I slept on it and it flaked the next day. I figured I needed to apply it on wetter hair. So I did it again. The next day hair results were the same. It looked flakey and gross. My hair looked as if it were sticky. My family and friends made unsolicited comments each time I used this product. I threw the container away with enough product left for 1 or 2 more wash and goes. The slime/shine jelly was a big no for me. It was so bad that I haven’t tried anything else from that line and won’t. I love the other lines from Curls though.
Wow, thanks for sharing. Your experience was very similar to mine; 1st day looked good and the next day tapioca balls all in my hair. Like you, I will not use it again, but I do love the Blueberry Bliss line and I like the Poppin Pineapple line. Thanks for watching.

Everything is not for type4 chill out just like everything is not for thin hair types. Sometimes it’s about the ingredients for all hair types. Everyone doesn’t like robot type stiff curls
I agree, and I am one of those people who don't like stiff curls. I prefer a softer, fluffier look and feel. I also agree everything isn't for everyone, just like this is not for me. I'm sharing my experience with it and why I don't care for it. If you or others like it, then by all means keep using it.

Curls is more for thinner, curly textures 3c to 4b hair. Their products not for thick textures hair. It's a good company. Love them!

I think it says to use the slime alone.
I did use it alone in the front where it flaked. It also says that it can be used with the leave-in on the website.
