All i can say is, stuff doesn't always go like you would hope. They were gutted the day they were harvested.next day, we skinned and bagged. Packing out what we could. In the end, all meat was recovered and is in our freezers. Eats great! In any case, thanks for the watch, good luck on your next adventure!
Decomposition of the animal starts approximately 45 minutes after death, if you can’t field dress the animal and cool the meat you shouldn’t shoot the animal. Anyone seeing this video that wants to hunt elk will think it’s ok to abandon the kill until its convenient to recover it, unethical behavior !
@USAsportsmanIdaho , animal was field dressed day of harvested. Video doesn't show that i suppose. All meat was recovered, and is being used. Good luck on your next adventure.
Yeah I have a feeling you won’t have this video posted much longer. I read the comments and your response about leaving the elk overnight before going and getting them. You can say what you want but the fact is that the video shows otherwise and it makes you guys look really bad.
I Jove that unit. My buddy owns about 900 acres over there and they got one bull this year. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
Thanks for the watch, and good hunting!
Glad to see a fellow hunter scored
@@eric4847 thanks!
Thats Elk Hunting!
@curtrodenmayer4136 yes indeed... good luck to you!
This elk season we had a lot of snow over here in Eastern Oregon. Congratulations on getting your elk and getting your camp out.
Thanks 👍
cool video Randy!
Thanks Tim!
Always gonna be haters. Just ignore it if you're happy with the way you did it
@@humperdink46 agreed!
Beulah? I know what you mean by the snow we ended up with about 3 foot where we got are bulls. Great video!
Thank you, and thanks for the watch! Good luck on your next adventure
What unit was this?

Elk hunting is three down and working not relaxing. I would never leave an elk I harvested overnight the way you did.
I disliked this video 👎
@@bidenhasdementia8657 sorry to hear that
In any case, thanks for the watch. And I hope you find success on your next Adventure

@@USAsportsmanIdaho for pete's sake. that is a ridiculous statement. What fantasy world do you live in?
