Most of the Pizza is $2-$3 as well. Two Bros is just known for their plain slices being $1. The pizza is meh but it costs $1 so in a city as expensive as NYC, it gets a whole lot of brownie points.

It's a one slice quick meal with the really large ones. Some places make a smaller slice so you get 2.
Gabby we have real traditional Italian palces just go to the Bronx in Little Italy or Brooklyn you'll definitely see the real and traditional way.

To me, trying to compare NY Pizza to Chicago Pizza is like trying to compare spaghetti and lasagna.. yes it's all similar ingredients but not similar enough to be the same thing. They're both great!
You shouldn't need to eat a slice of pizza with a knife and fork. Origional pizza from italy is served like the ny slice. Chicagos is more of a stacked pie, lasagna thing.
But Chicago style is equivalent to lasagna while ny style equals spaghetti team Chicago and lasagna the better foods

It blows my mind you can be like "Hey I'm here, but lets take a train and oh look now we're in this totally other place called Greenich Village relatively easily" and just jump across the city AT NIGHT and there are shops and restaurants OPEN AT NIGHT!?
Where I live, the only means of public transport is waiting at a bus shelter on the side of a dirt road, for 40 minutes for a bus to show up. And all the stores and restaurants close by 7pm and people don't go out after that or you'll get mugged or bashed up in the dark. And if you're a smaller built girl or Asian, you're an easy target at night..

I can't believe her friend didn't recommend Pasty in East Harlem, Joe's Pizza in Carmine's St, John's Pizzaria on Bleecker, LB Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn, ect so many iconic places NY they could have gone. I have never heard of these spots the girl recommended. You will never convince anyone from Chicago how good our pizza is recommending those places.
