Just to say, if you're anyone's on a budget and doesn't have a good mixer, the TR8S accepts two mono or one stereo external input. In that way you can take a couple of synths, and mix them with the drums. The TR8S also acts as an audio interface, allowing your drums and synths to be multi-track recorded digitally via USB ✨🪐

Used this on the Bass. Connect toms/dfam into the SSL, route it to the external input - this enables sidechain, then send it out from output 4 back into the SSL
