I finally got used to the anime style and now it ends. These 3 months really went in a flash. Good thing the most groundbreaking arc (earth worm) is next.
I fell in love with this anime off rip. Such a treasure. They excel in every aspect. Cant wait to collect action figures of the while squad, so I can pose them up watch the rest of the series.
everyone working on dandadan, the mangaka, the animators, directors, voice actors, everyone. I have to give a big thanks to, I picked up the manga immediately after i watched the last episode, I have read about 100 chapters, im now on 130ish and i must say, it is so wildly insane. Sometimes, i barely know what's going on but it is so fun. It is so incredible that they were willing to pick up such an insane (in a good way) piece of art and adapt it into something so amazing and new so that many new people (like myself) could enjoy it
My man with the dandadan love. Easily one of my favorite manga. The anime has been so wonderful. So glad science saru got a hold of this. They captured the fun of it so well. The goofy faces and chaotic energy. The pacing feels right.
After the first episode came out, I decided to go ahead and read the manga and watch the anime side by side to see how they would adapt these earlier chapters and dang Science Saru did a great job. I’m caught up with the manga by now, and now I can’t to see anime only’s reactions for season 2’s episodes
Yeah thank goooodness. Im thinking it was bc editor/publisher needs an eye opener first chapter to guarentee success in Japan. Its why theres a strsight up grope scene in undead unluck the first chapter, or why mineta exists in MHA. Its a cultural norm unfortunately. You can tell where Dandadan got comfortabley serialized during the cursed house arc when they completely stopped doing that kinda stuff.
Does that mean it will not be good anymore, because I liked the weird stuff from season 1, will going forward this is going to be just an generic anime🥲
@simple5866 no i don't mean the weird stuff. Crazier shit happens in later chapters. Genuinely funny random wacky shit. What I meant was the more pervy stuff, momo getting sa'd or attempted molested, and the whole aliens chasing after bananas gets super toned down.

BUT, specifically the pervy stuff stops completely. The hot springs I believe is the last time we see anything like that.
I cant believe it ended right when they brought in Jiji my goat 😫😫😫 i love him in the manga but wow his voice performance is just so otherworldly ridiculous i need more
If Evil Eye’s backstory looks anything as good as AcroSliky, I’m not ready for it I’ve read the manga but I don’t think we’re gonna be ready to bare witness to that 😭😭😭
They've added so much flavor to Acro Silky's story in the anime, and made it a hundred times better. I can only imagine what they can do for the Evil Eye's story.... or for the _others that we've yet to see_
Can you start covering the manga again? Your videos on it were one of the things that got me so into the series in the first place. I'd love if you started doing chapter reviews like CSM
Every anime should do only ~13 eps a year. Short bursts of pure unbloated quality, blasting through the manga content with ZERO filler. You have a 1000+ shows long backlog so don't tell me you'd have nothing to watch inbetween seasons.
Anime only watcher and gosh I am so excited for season 2. This anime has always kept me on my toes, excited for what's next; which I think comes from never knowing what really will happen next lol. Science Saru is amazing, I'm so glad it was them who did DanDaDan, becasue from what I've heard they've truly done it justice!
Im caught up with the manga, and with the way s1 went, s2 is about to be amazing. Also its pretty obvious there will be a new intro/theme for s2, and I can't wait to see it.
Considering how they ended Season 1, I don't doubt that the ending of Season 2 will be The Space Globalist Attack. That scene of all of the heroes getting ganked and Okarun getting completely brutalized and having his Kintama stolen was by far the strongest moment in the series for me. When he comes off of his feeding tube after Astral Projecting in a dingy warehouse, seeing how dangerous he has to become to save people, it did the "power up" better than even his fight with The Musicians. Of course, Okarun takes at least one extreme beating an arc. It feels like he's a punching bag, often.
Absolutely amazing season, there's only one small issue. (It's not really that much of an issue, I just find it mildly annoying) I wish that instead of the upcoming continuation being labelled as "Season 2" by even Crunchyroll themselves, which pretty much confirms it: It would just be "Season 1, part 2" like what Re:Zero is doing at the moment with it's Third Season. Episode 12 just ended like a regular episode rather than a season finale, and I've read the entire manga, so I know what happens directly afterwards too. I've even seen the trailer for Season 2, and yeah, it just opens like a regular episode as well. What is the point of having these separated by different seasons when they connect so seamlessly??.. All that Crunchyroll would need to do is air "Season 2" inside of the First Season... Literally, they wouldn't even need to change anything else BRUHHHH 😭😭
Once Jiji's and the Evil Eye's arc is finished (and I mean fully, before more of the cast is revealed, so up until chapter 62-ish), Dandadan stops showing uncomfortable scenes with the teen cast- no more Momo almost getting assaulted, no more Okarun getting his clothes melted off, etc. I feel like with this upcoming arc and the arcs following the anime really has the chance to go even more ham and shine
Ah, there is this weird scenes before the space globalist where I don't remember the name big the. Yokai that captures momo in a mirror is looking for her at night and has to sleep in like a manga room? There is this weird interaction with the front desk guy and also serpo
One my employees say the art in the manga is trash, I spent the rest of the shift proving him wrong, mans has watched every random Iseki but was calling this trash nahhhhh

I have to say, the anime just washes off the fanservice panties scenes. And i love it for that. I know that people like that kind of stuff but i don't and i don't think dandadan needs to have that type of thing really.

S1 was phenomenal, and what a crazy cliffhanger to end with, plus was wondering where they might end it, which was a unique place to say the least 😅
