It’s crazy how much that Bob changes her features. Subtle changes but I didn’t modify her face in anyway, I just put the pop on her and I was surprised how much of a difference it actually made. She was beautiful to begin with but that Bob really add a bit more vibrance to her in my opinion.
I love this new series with real life models! They are both great! But I would love to see models with very fine and thinning hair and see the ideas you could come up with! Thanks for all your videos, they are very helpful!

Love the color change! Would love the color change with the bob, however I agree with JackOllie4 that those types of bobs look great in photos, but as soon as you move, they are in your face. So you're either constantly pushing it out of your face, or putting it behind your ear, which makes the cut look totally different in my opinion. Thanks for doing this series, I am loving it!
I recently went from longer hair to a bob similar to that last photo. I love it! It looks classic and pulled together. She looks amazing with that cut! Let us know if she tries it!

Ok, having lived with a blunt bob like this for several years, and recently cutting layers and bangs into it, I just have to say ... the problem of the hair constantly falling over the face is so real. Yes, I do like the appearance of this cut on her, as well as the color changes you suggest, but that endless waterfall of hair over the face has become a real turn off for me with the blunt bob. It only stays off the face ... until you try to move or do anything at all!
Totally agree - I left my bangs grow out for the( first time since second grade ) during quarantine. I LOVE that I can tuck them behind my ear, but not so sure it is the best look for me. Dilemma!
I absolutely love the color and cut on her. It makes her look youthful. I live in a small town in Wyoming and really struggle to find a hairstylist. Most of the stylists have gone to the same school. I’ve taken your advice and bring pictures and they look at them for 2 seconds then hand me the picture back. I’ve actually done that for years and the stylist makes me feel like I’m offending them. When they’re done I never get the haircut that I wanted. It seems like they cut it the way they want to. I wouldn’t even mind driving a few hours one way to get a hairstylist who would listen to me. I’m about the same age as the woman in the photo and that looks so beautiful on her. I tried to get that same look about 2 weeks ago and it was a disaster…now I have to grow it out some and try to get it cut again. I enjoy your channel because you’re a very talented hairstylist.

Same here. This is why I learned to cut and color my own in my mid 20's. I'm 49 now. Every once in a while I'll go to a salon for a cut and end up regretting it EVERY SINGLE TIME... Because like you I bring a photo (and I do understand not all cuts can be duplicated on my hair because it's super thin and fine, so I do research cuts I might like 1st) and they just cut it how they want... One time the stylist cut my hair exactly like hers, which I specifically said I did not want when she asked. I was so angry!

Love the new look! I'm 67 have waist long hair and so afraid to cut it because i have had bad experience with most hair dressers. It's naturally curly so that adds to the hesitantly in cutting it. I like your videos, I just found them recently.
Beautiful scenery!!!! This is my problem that you showed on this pretty lady! I am using hair color from Sally's because I can't go to Aveda salon during Covid! I am using 9 NN Very Light Blonde or 8 N/88N. I am supposed to be Ash Blonde according to my skin color. I have grey roots. How do I get dimension? I need a hair shaping also but have to wait!
One thing you can try is darkening the base a little bit and that could help as the base will be darker than the ends meaning that you only apply the color to the Roots each time allowing the ends to fade to create that dimension. Otherwise you’re looking at doing low lights of a different color which can definitely be done but would need specific direction. I have an online course that walks people through step-by-step how to cut and color their own hair at home. This might be a solid option for you.

Yes, I agree, Justin. Your modification of the colour is an improvement and so too is the bob shape itself. Though I didn't think the colour of the bob was quite right. I would have preferred your modified colour but in the bob shape (not the white-blonde that the bob was featured in). Great videos btw!

I think the change in hair color made a positive impact on her skin tone; and, I thought the idea of multi-dimensional hair color making the roots look fuller was a very good point. The hair style gives her a much more polished look. I have blonde hair about her length, so it gave me some good ideas. Thank you Justin and thanks to your lovely model!

I've been grey for over 2 years now and I'm still trying to learn how to manage my hair, it's not easy because my natural hair is now curly and frizzy but only the top hair, underneath is just wavy. I don't have a hair stylist that I can trust, so I tend to leave my hair alone. I'm trying to learn from your ideas but it be fabulous to also find someone with your knowledge to treat my hair. 👩🦳

The suggested color is great and she’d look amazing with that bob! When this video started I didn’t see any issues but with your expert eye I see how minor changes can make a really nice improvement.

Yes, I agree, Justin. Your modification of the colour is an improvement and so too is the bob shape itself. Though I didn't think the colour of the bob was quite right. I would have preferred your modified colour but in the bob shape (not the white-blonde that the bob was featured in). Great videos btw!

I think the change in hair color made a positive impact on her skin tone; and, I thought the idea of multi-dimensional hair color making the roots look fuller was a very good point. The hair style gives her a much more polished look. I have blonde hair about her length, so it gave me some good ideas. Thank you Justin and thanks to your lovely model!

Justin, thank you so much for showing mature women in your videos, specially with grey hair. I've been grey for over 2 years now and I'm still trying to learn how to manage my hair, it's not easy because my natural hair is now curly and frizzy but only the top hair, underneath is just wavy. I don't have a hair stylist that I can trust, so I tend to leave my hair alone. I'm trying to learn from your ideas but it be fabulous to also find someone with your knowledge to treat my hair. 👩🦳
