Thanks for documenting your builds like this. Your creativity feeds others. The whole hobby is better off because of it. Don't hate, CREATE!
BA-BA-BA-BASS!! Everyone in the 90's had that Bass Mechanik CD.
Can't wait to see how this box will blend with the unparalleled doors and tweeter pods. Another epic tune!!
*Ace Ventura voice* LIKE A GLOVE!
only 42 prototypes later, keep up the good work man!

Good work Doug! That was well worth the wait!
OH MAN!!! Your bass test tones are making my walls shake... (my pc has a sweet subwoofer)... nice! RIP IT!
Too many Jetsons cartoons for you Doug! Great box!!!!
Worth the wait... Best looking enclosure that I've seen built
Dude this is the real bass mechanic!
Very nice Doug... I've enjoyed this build and I don't think I'm ready for it to be finished...
+David Moon THANK YOU!!! We have a long way to go!! I need to install the alt, make a steel amp rack for the bass amp, and cut the holes on the bed/cab! :))) should be lots of fun. 🤑🤑🙌🙌
great job very clean and detailed tutorial looking forward to Mondays up load
Another Epic box build by Doug

Good job on the window fitment. First Try!
Winisd never fail.
inside the car that will sound greater!
enjoy your weekend dude!
that box would have been a lot easier without the curves, but it's because you insisted on the curves that a enjoy this channel!
Bro has got a one of a kind sense of humor and knows his shit, regardless of whether or not he leads you to believe it. A sense of humor like that has to have a little "motivation" 💨💨💨 if you know what I mean. Just my guess tho. . Loving the videos man keep em comin'
digging the Box bro. But be sure to show a install video of your alternator install. I have a 2013 F150 SuperCrew would 4/8 underneath the rear seat I need an install an alternator in looking forward to a video of what alternator you use and the install of it thanks man
I yelled "BASS" into my prefab and it voided my warrantee 😔
B boy Doug B from the Soundman crew..... All the freestyle music making me itch haha.
box is coming out sick!!👍👍
Got it now i know its adjustable between 20sum to 60ish hz. I gotta check it in person....rockOn!
That port is big enough for El Chapo to escape through. It's still gonna twist😂😂
Today's episode had that 80's "Herbie Hancock - Rockit" robotic vibe to it.
Glendale Walter or is it a Beverly Hills Cop vibe...Doug is kinda like a white Axle Foley...🤔😂
Hey Doug I think you hit the brown note cause I just shit myself.
+Ronny Hilton 😂😂😂
very cool Doug. can you explain again to someone ignorant to bass tuning. what was the digital read out showing? and why were you adjusting the gain to not clip at different frequencies? wouldn't it start clipping at a lower setting after adjusting it for a higher one?
great job, cant wait to see it in the truck!
Doug, you are only supposed to run one wire lead from the amp through the amm-1. Thats why your wattage reading is way off. Page 8 step 5 and 6 of the manual.
Sick series Doug. It’d be nice to have real car audio shops here in NY.
Free air the sub they say? Looks like it slaps even on low power, can't wait to see how it performs in the truck 😎
Keep it Doug! Love the videos!
Finally!! been waiting a couple hours
Good way to end a Friday let's bump this massive Mastermind of a sub woofer 🔊 bandpass
3 ohms on that amplifier should bring it up to around 900 watts. Considering the amplifiers crazy dampening factor the amp should take it like a champ.
Still looking good. Tell your wife I like her outfit; she should have posed for this epic test bump.
Cant wait for the 69th order box to bump!
I was waiting for today!!
I would love to see you time align the box with the rest of the F-150 system, just to see your process.
Tuning this system is going to be so much fun!
those ports are gonna twist
I haven’t been around in a year or more, is this still a thing?? lol
just wondering how this sub does free air. is there a data sheet for it? for nice comparison of how much the Box rise adds to All That Bass
four window blanks not fitting doug or did I miss one but you've done the deadline
watching this video made me aware of what frequency my wall hangings rattle at
makes for a cool video but the response will be different in the truck. would be interesting to see numbers in the truck
LOL . this guys is funny! Love the old school break beats.
Damn, that's some serious bass!
Just a pleasure to ear and see this, good, really good job Doug, i love your job, i live U ;)
YOU THE MAN DOUG!!!!
Can u test some 18 ct sounds and see which one sounds the best before I spend my money
I always yell "bass" into my box to test it too!
I also yell "rip it" right before I prepare for the show. Then I cough up a lung and enjoy!
My Dude Doug E Bernard Super Genius Its Alive! & Beating great job! Stay Easy bruh have a good weekend
Is this Doug's first Amplified amp dyno? If so, BigDwizz will be loving that Macintosh amp being put to the test.
Lance Johnson McIntosh!
Looking crazy. very nice. wats the name of the music tracks in the background.
Damn, how efficient is that sub?? It didn't require much power to hit respectable DB's. Much respect to your box build as well. What actual power will you be feeding that beast when it's in the truck?
How much power are you going to give to it in the truck Doug? I ask because you mentioned looking for an alternator, which makes me think you might be wanting to give it RMS or a bit more.
Is it 3 dB down at 80 Hz, or a little lower than that? I tend to think more of 83-85 Hz just because E2 is 82.41 Hz and make some stuff with strong E low notes. Also, getting a big CT Sounds amp? Thanks.
i have a very big smile on my face!!
Trust me you may need some serious re enforcements on your truck & check the insurance too you may or may not have a windscreen after this box's first bummmmmp in the truck!!!
More power capt'n!!!
at the 12:00 mark I just noticed the shirt. Awesome.
That's funny. I thought I was the only moron to always shout out bass into a box. Lol thanks Doug.
awesome work and great video.... but you might want to check something. ..the god damn wobbler shaft is all wrong in that bottom port .. I predict a 10 dB gain with my special engineered shaft ..
Nice!!!
How's about (Canadian, so that's pronounced ABOOT) you measure the impedance of the enclosure using the IM-SG to see where the tuning ended up?
DJ Bumping It!Way to git er done
Doug your a lucky man.
8:48 is the best part of this whole video.
Jonathan Smith I agree
Doug did you not see the link I dropped in the comments on a previous video to the matching Macintosh monoblock on eBay? may be worth having in your collection
Bess bro what's the tuning front and rear and your bandwidth should be starting from 25hz upwards
I still laugh at that robot voice when you connect speaker leads to amps. Hasn't changed since season 1!
lol that shit is hilarious =)
😂😂😂😂
I want that box! lol nice build brotha
1200/1v3 or 1000/1 would be perfect for that W7 👌🏼
So what freq does the large chamber handle and what freq does the small freq play?
nice focal utopias back there
SoundManCA send me the box and sub with amp. Its my b day tmrw so lets just call it a present for the man thats gonna make you famous....explosion!!!!!
man i wonder why my windows where vibrating all the way in Houston Texas. The build looking sexy Doug B)
Slamming ol school sound track!!
Bro I just love your videos man you’re just so clever and how you do things and your comedy is good too bro right at 5:30 I was thinking of that nerd on grandma’s boy how he acts like a robot keep up the good videos bro you’re doing a great job
finally we get to hear the Box Hallelujah
dude love your work
time to bust out the old cd's.... bass mechanic, trunk funk, bass patrol, etc... The sound track you've been using brought me right back to high school and my solo barics pounding in the hatch of my firebird... its no wonder im hard of hearing now, lol
Anthony B had a pair of solo barrics in the back of a convertible eclipse. barely fit the box with Less than a half inch space around the box but damn it bumped haha
you got me :(
not sure where I lost ya there but I can break it down. I too owned solo baric subwoofers in highschool. I owned a convertible eclipse. said car has a small trunk and with two big ass square subs in the back there was less than half an inch clearance in the trunk around the entire box. barely fit, and made the trunk useless but the system was badass.
Yeah, but what kind of speakers were you using? Did they fit? And how did they sound?
I had a pair of 12 inch Cerwin Vega's in the back of my Celica hatchback with Linear Power amps. Using a Clarion DRX 9255 head unit. Graduated from high school in 1989. I was one of maybe 5 people that had systems at my school. Miss those days sometimes.
lol who has McIntosh amps just laying around. I wish. and he probably really doesn't care about the amp. Doug's a baller.
Not bad! Needs some tweaking, but that's a fairly tame, flat response for a 6th order. Nice and efficient at tuning frequencies, and a fairly reasonable valley between. Gotta see what cabin gains get'cha, though! I'm willing to bet it'll smooth right on out once you get it in the truck! :D
+rhkips with the response we have now!, some cabin gain and a final port tune should land us right on the money!
If I tune the smaller chamber higher to pick up some 80hz it will give me a taller peak at 80hz and cabin gain should bring the 40hz peak up. BLAM!!! Flat SQ BASS!! 🙌🙌🙌
So i guess you did know how to tune it Doug. where you at plannedartist?
I'm just waiting for all 30 videos of the job to be posted so then I can watch it from beginning to the end lol jk good work Doug looks clean
whats the metal song at around 2:17? if someone could tell me
Sick box love it
