I love this type of comprehensive expository preaching - it’s what I’ve been missing since the sad fall of Dr. Lawson
there are many solid men of God who teach this way. Grace to You, Ligonier and others in the G3 circle all are worth listening to. They are available on their websites and YT channels

Even when, as in this instance, very little actual Scripture was used, and nearly none of it had any sense of the context. He started out with a point to make and he only used Scripture to prooftext. Very sloppy and disingenuous.
I could make the opposite case he did using the same and similar scriptures.
Can you shout this out! I am so tired, very tired, of the charismatic movement and its extra unbiblical mombojumbo! I hate the evils all around us every day. Lying, murder, cruellites, unfaithfulness ect ect. But this " God told me this, or false RUclips prophets has worn me out the most. This sermon needs to be told and shared. Sir, this was the most important, in my opinion, sermon for this hour. God bless you ❤

@@G3Ministries I was registered to attend until they moved the venue. My cousin and I were planning to go to California for it in order to see and hear Pastor John MacArthur. I am hoping the sessions will all be available on YT soon, as I still desire to hear the teachings of these other men.

As a charismatic I believe in the word and nothing like extra things etc. What I don't believe is that something in the Word has ceased. If you are true to the Word be and don't tell me something has ceased. God does not change.

This was a great call to arms against false doctrine, I especially loved the use of scripture to show how the word is timeless, meaning as it was in history past it hits home today. My only criticism is that people's attention span is only for 20-30 minutes and I'm being generous lol a hour is way too long. Overall a good message

We have been made to think that if we don't manifest certain things like speaking in tongues, we're not spiritual enough. Some Christians pray "hard" up to the point of beating the devil, an infinite being. But apparently, he never leaves. We are pursuing things that are not biblical, things that do not save😢

We need constant preaching and teaching of this kind; however, we should also avoid idolizing Calvin.
Message was stated so broadly it could apply to any, including the speaker. Depending on actual versus claimed adherence to the word of God.

I don't think it was word salad. I think it was clearly stated. My point is that the gentleman's message was too broad. It applies to many people, not just the ones he claimed to be targeting.
As a matter of fact, I could turn his message against him, since I feel he plays very loose with scripture, but he doesn't seem to think it applies to him or people who 'believe' like him.

This subject matter is clearly warranted but I would include the False teachings of Calvinism.
Calvinism's 9 points -not just 5 called Tulip -are False from Genesis to Revelation beginning with their 2 foundational doctrines: CALVINISM'S DEFINITION of Sovereign, and CALVINISM'S DETERMINISM (a Meticulous determinism).
Both are unbiblical but are absolutely necessary for Tulip and Calvinism's False Grace teaching.
Calvinism's foundation is refuted with clear language and plain context by verses/passages such as Jeremiah 7:31 (19:5, and 32:35), and 1 Samuel 23:1-13.
These foundational doctrines/points make God the sinner and human beings puppets, objects that are unable to be legally responsible for sinful thoughts, words, and actions.
Calvinism's, Augustinian Calvinism is embarrassingly easy to refute and when listening to a Calvinistic/Reformed preacher, one hears a deception being perpetrated. Calvinism's preachers preach contrary to Calvinism's 9 points, notwithstanding the fact that they terms like sovereign and grace which are biblical doctrines, but not in the way Calvinists use them.

Defend the church against error? They would have to throw out 90% of their teachings since they're all errors! Trinity, hell, soul, rapture, 144,000 are all subjects they get completely wrong besides not understanding prophecies and their fulfillment.
