NDCA Grant Reflections, ARP Funds, Fall 2021

In 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan (ARP) which included funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support organizations and jobs in the arts sector that had been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. ND Council on the Arts received a portion of the ARP funding from the NEA and awarded $187,730 to individual artists and $508,120 to arts organizations located in North Dakota. This video highlights some of the ND artists and organizations who received ARP funds, including playwright Hamzat Koriko, stained glass artist Ellen Duffey, accordionist Gerald Schlag, Growing Small Towns Executive Director Rebecca Undem and ImagiNative Inc.
