Very skilled engineer, I've followed this chap for a couple of years and the guy can fix anything. I watched a video of him stripping down a rothenberger blow torch....most of us would literally just chuck that in the bin and buy another.
Appreciate that my friend.. I’m just curious by nature and wanted to show a simple motor change @ £20 saves a £100 tool from scrap. Appreciate the support 🙏🙏
@@drpipe I was at the Worcester Bosch training centre this time last year and even those guys were talking about your videos and what a good engineer you are.
You can get the brushes rings from AliExpress . Takes a few weeks for delivery . Motors are crimped just have to bend the tags back . You can buy same Motor that are serviceable with removable brushes but the manufacturer choose to make the tools disposable .
I was the same and bit the bullet before Xmas, TBH not overly impressed with it so far and mainly use if for ripping out.......... Wouldn't buy another
Great tool. I use mine most days on installs I’ve not changed the wheel or anything on it. Lots of guys don’t have the knack of cutting 15 with it & end up with more threads than Dr Pipe’s girlfriend’s big knickers...........But I’ve mastered it👍👍👍 Great to see you back Doc. Luv Dick Puller.

He definitely has a unique set of skills, An out of the box thinker 💡 Excellent video & thanks for sharing !
Good to see you back.
I bought one,at 56 wanted to save my elbow( mild pain)
I don’t use it for 15mm, only 22. If I knew that it’s not good for 15, I wouldn’t of bothered.
I don’t have issues on 15mm 🤔

Be great when you share the link with us ?
👍🏼
If your going to not make brushes available they should of used a brush less motor. They probably hope you'd junk it and buy a new one.
Do you have a model number/link for the motor?
Google’s ya friend

I have often looked at these . What are your thoughts on owning one Doctor ?
