First! The irony is that at the start he was drinking water as you said that. I am so sorry. At least Iroh is strong and will get through it. My past hamster mochi had diabetes, it is because pets at home over feed them on a very high fat food mix. Mochi came from the pets at home adoption section too
Poor little guy! I'm curious to watch your journey with his treatment, I never thought about hamsters having diabetes. Awareness, openess and discussion are so important with these types of things. Thankfully he's in good hands now!! Sending positive vibes to you and Iroh ❤❤
Aww I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope iroh feels better soon! :). Also an update about my ham, I have contacted an ethical breeder near me so hopefully in the next 2 or so months I should have a hamster!
I hope your little sweethearts diabetes can be controlled an he will live a wonderful life. He is lucky to have you! Keeping you both in my thoughts 💕🙏
I had a winter white that would drink a whole 4oz water bottle a day he had diabetes the day of his vet appointment he died 😢 it happened so quick I was so sad that I couldn’t help him in time
He clearly became diabetic at the store, especially since the 1st day you had him he was already showing serious signs. If you hadn't gotten him he probably would have continued to go undiagnosed, untreated, and eventually he would have died sooner than later. I'm glad he's safe with you now. 🙏 🕯️ 🤞 Praying that you are able to get it well controlled and managed for him. The store should really offer you free vet services because they should have noticed he was ill. They should have treated him, stabilized him, and disclosed it to you before you took him home. But due to their neglect they didn't notice he was drinking so much...
I agree this should of been noticed previously as I knew within 24 hours he had all the signs of being diabetic 😔 They have however agreed to pay for all of his vet fees so far and have been very good in that respect and I’m currently still in convos with them 💛
@@TianiSimoneX hopefully they take this as an opportunity to train all employees to properly monitor for signs of illness. For the health of the rest of the animals in their stores. 🙏🕯️🤞Hoping all goes well and he's ultimately going to be ok!
Im looking for a really good quailty dwarf food. How much are you payibg for this food with shipping and how long does it normally last? I normally get Bunny Dream Hamster food on Zooplus
😂😂 it was a lot easier than it sounds actually. Once he was in his carrier and went I had a tiny 1ml syringe to be able to put it into the tube, worked very well aha x
I just use my IPhone and I brought a tripod on Amazon for it. My best advice is just start with what you have you can always add new things as you go 😊
I Really Hope It goes Away! Please Make sure he is Okay No hamster should go through this. But I just wanted to make a quick question, would you Please favor me and give me a show it out I just started RUclips channeling after a long time, and it is about things of hamsters!
Oh no Iroh . Hope he is going to be ok xx
Thank you 💛

I have to ask, how did you manage to get the urine sample into the tube? 😮🤔

@@TianiSimoneX ok
Aw,
Its so sad to hear that he has diabetes...get well soon iroh.
Thank you 🧡
Is he named after Iroh from Avatar?
He is indeed 😊
@@TianiSimoneX Omg, that's great :)
It’s not dwarf hamsters that are prone to diabetes it’s winter whites. Robos and Campbell’s arnt really prone to diabetes like winter whites
