I've never played Xenogears, so I'm not attached at all to this game, but that song still makes me nostalgic! It's really pretty, and really has that "PSX cult RPG music" vibe, it'd fit perfectly in FF8. There are many RPGs coming out right now (FF16 PC, Metaphor, Romancing Saga 2 remake, Dragon Quest 3 Remake, ...) so I don't know when I'll have the time and energy for it, but after hearing this song I really want to try Xenogears.
Soothing and a fav of mine. Doesn't stick out from the get go when I think of favorite tracks from the OST, but it never fails to put a smile on my face when I hear it come on.
I've always associated this theme with Maria more than anyone, since it suits her gentle character. She doesn't fight because she wants to or likes it, like some kid characters who have a giant robot partner are often portrayed, but she knows things aren't that simple. Hearing this track makes me sad since, coincidentally, Maria was going to be one of my fully developed NV+ units for future content in Brave Exvius, but the global version's shutdown is next Wednesday. Only a week left to go.
@@xOmniCloudx thank you! I don't often meet another person with Great taste as well. I don't know why, Dew prisms has a good plot, especially the music. The combat system it has is smooth ahead of its time. That's why I'm wondering why it's not popular. If legacy of kain gets a remaster. Then I'm hoping for these games as well.
@@laurellentwine I would also like to see Brave Fencer Musashi remastered. It and Dewprism felt like playing cartoons with sassy entertaining protagonists.

一人暮らしでさみしい時、辛いこととかあったとき、この曲聞くと当時実家で家族で過ごしてた頃を思い出して癒されて立ち直たりしてた好きな曲です。
この曲名が何故か、すごく印象に残ってます。
曲調も優しくてどこか前向きで。
季節でいうと冬で、時間帯はもちろん
夜が似合うイメージ。寝る前にまた聴いてみよう。
マリアの心の強さと優しさが曲に表されていて好きです。
両親のことは悲しいけど、ずっと心の中で生きているってベタな展開もすごく好きです。
ゼノギアスで、光田さんの作曲の中で、一番好きな曲です。初めてプレイした時から今日まで、嬉しい時も悲しい時も、自分の人生に優しく寄り添ってくれていた。そんな風に思えるくらい、大切な曲です

I always forget this Track exists in the Game. It‘s not really used that much (I think only once, actually)

Maria is definitely one of my favorite characters in the entire story. And I like her name very much as well, so that's an added bonus! 😁👍
She's like a little sister, that we need to help become the great adult we know she can be.
