    Lester, you made that so entertaining for us. I love when you make me laugh. It reminded me of my great grandson when he was three. He saw a dead spider on the patio and he started screaming. His mom said what’s the matter and he said in his squeaky voice,” it’s an Octopus “. That was a cute memory for this old lady. I love your sense of humor. And everyone goes along with you.

    Annie was standing guard and not letting anyone near those pools too. She's such a great protector. She told all them pigs and Ernie to stay inside the barn.

    As an ACO who deals with them, you have me rolling over here Lester. They grow about a foot a year, so I'd say he's 1 1/2 or 2 years old. They are feisty for sure, lol. I've never laughed so hard! 🤣

    Lester, that was a challenge I never would have expected in a million years. I would have gone crazy. Things could so easily have turned tragic for your babies if they had gotten near it. God is truly watching over you and the babies and keeping everyone safe.

    Lester, the sanctuary looks so empty with all the babies at LHL. But I know why you moved the babies and now you can get new grass on the pastures. I have been following you for almost 4 years and have seen so much growth around the sanctuary and now everything going on at LHL. It is wonderful to see how far Jami and you have come the last 4 years, thanks for sharing it all with us....congratulations on all your success

      I'm very thankful all those babies were at LHL's when that gator came crawling in. Could have been a bad situation.

      The only bad situation would have been for the baby gator bc Carl would have instantly killed it as it walked across the pasture before it ever got to the cooling station.

    After Sunday with Jami & Lester..I had to go see the predator! I was not disappointed! Laughed so hard!!! 🤣 Lester can entertain at the drop of a hat! Now the entire property- including PawPaw,Kim,Bri,Uncle Dan..Jake- ..needs to be swept for gators!😳😲🐊!!So glad Terry was an alligator wrangler,but how cool was it that Allie found a home!! Yes,Jami- this is why women live longer!😉

    Your reaction to the alligator had me literally lmbo. 🤣. I needed this laugh today. He was so vicious for such a little guy, imagine if he was much bigger.
    I think Annie and the other babies probably seen him coming accross the pasture and never approached the waters after that. They are pretty smart.

      Maybe they decided that he needed the water more than they did. The farm animals knew that someone would be along to sort out the situation. I’m sincerely glad it wasn’t Jami.

    that was so cute, Trudy followed Lester from the watering area when he moved the alligator to the barn. She was either concerned or 🐽🐽 nosey. 🥰😊😊

    I laughed so hard at your reaction after I saw it was a baby gator. "At least it's my left hand. I don't need that one as much." Sooo funny. You were very brave, Lester, when you actually touched it when Terry was holding it. When I was in Florida several yrs ago, I held a 2 yr old baby gator, but it did have its mouth closed with duct tape. This one is probably under a yr old. Terry sure did great job handling him.

    Wow all I could think of is how often Jake is in the ponds swimming and goofing around. I didn't realize that there were alligators around the farm, that's crazy....snakes, alligators, feral hogs, coyotes, now I would definitely carry a side arm all the time. Didn't realize how many predators you have around there. I have the Willie's now. Keep our babies safe please Lester!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

      @@jenniferkennedy175 don't blame you to feel like that as it can still bite. Florida has so many gators. 13,000 gators in Lake Jessup in Orlando. It's creepy when you drive over the lake at night, and see all of their eyes glowing.

    Hey Lester! I just wanted to let you know. Please don’t worry too much. That gator was at least a foot long. It takes them well over a year to grow that large. It should not be roaming with any others. Do keep an eye out just to be safe. And thank you for relocating it safely to protect it and your animals.
    I lived and worked on an small island off the coast of SC for a while. It was covered in gators, the biggest about 14ft! All the residents had to be aware of them though

    When I lived in Louisiana (Grand Isle). I was always terrified that I would come down the steps (our house was on pilings) and find a gator under my steps. About a 6 year old did a death roll in a shrimp net after hurricane Katrina and made my huge dog pee all over himself. So is there a way for all of your families check their ponds? Tell Jake to not swim. I've always wondered if they showed up on your property from the river. Maybe Alex is the one that got the goose. Scary.

Terry seems like such a good guy and I think y'all said the other guy was his daughter's boyfriend, but they're great. I know the babies are relieved the little gator is gone too.     As an Australian I found your reaction hilarious. It was just a baby, even this 52yo suburban woman would have been able to deal with that tiny thing. Also thinking that it couldn't get out of that little bit of water was a mistake, if it is anything like a crocodile they have amazing muscles in their tails and would have been able to look up over the edge with little effort.

      I wouldn't be too worried about parents because it looks to be a year or two old. Probably out on its own by this point.
      Still hopefully no others will wander around. But the babies will avoid it.

    Holy crap! Watching as this video played I’m thinking you’ve got to be so thankful all the other babies were at LHL’s. With so many goats there, one of them could really have gotten hurt. Thank God you found Mr. Pete! I love that he’s not afraid of all these animals.

      This is his other neighbor Terry. Terry has a Longhorn Ranch too and it’s the ranch where Lester rescued one of his Longhorns. Her horn was caught in a hanging rug type thing. Lester got it out.

      Literally everywhere lol 😂. Creeks, ponds, your swimming pools, rivers, even the ocean
      As Floridians we know they won’t mess with you unless you mess with it. This is excluding mating season, we had a 7ft gator 🐊 in the pond behind my grandparents house when we were kids, we named him Puff (after puff the magic dragon) eventually he got a little to comfortable around humans and would come to the back screen door often, had to call FWC and they trapped him and relocated him

    That was so scary. Pig Trudy was great at alerting you that something was going on and keeping the other pigs, Annie and Ernie out of the area that he was in. She deserves some extra oatmeal for that. I am so glad that all of the babies stayed away from the turtle pools while he/she was in there. When you were trying to get him from the pool into the bucket, I was even moving in my chair like I was trying to help you do it. Lester, you have more courage than me and I would have been swearing also. It is great that he is Terry's pond. Hope that all of Jami's chickens are ok also.

    I was holding my breath while y’all were standing so close to that pond. Alligators are the number one ambush predator. I’m so thankful that y’all are okay and that your babies are okay.

    Maggie was busy staring at the gator as you walked up. She knew it was there long before you. She always impresses me. I literally replayed you finding it 3x to laugh at your expressions you made and then saying it bit at you when it barely moved. Lol I know it could cut open a baby if they stepped in the pool with it but I was giggling as you were freaked out over the 300lb pig going by the 10lb gator. I would have been curious to see how far you could follow that path from the gator to see where it came from. I also think it might be worth your time and entertaining to do some night time light shining on the ponds around Morrow Hill to see if you have any other gators.

    With the goats gone there is less activity which is probably why it was drawn to your water station. Annie is super vigilant. Sweet Peggy pig just wanted to get in the water. Bless her. I always love seeing Trudy too.

    I’m the beginning, Trudy and Peggy are over their talking about the gator visitor and laughing at their daddy jumping sky high. But all my goodness Lester, that is crazy. Glad you could relocate. And boy is it beautiful though!

    I was raised on the bayou’s of Louisiana, they are great for frying.

    Omg no no no! How insane is that?! First the nights watch, and all the other animals that find their way to the sanctuary but an ALLIGATOR! How ? And where is mama at? That thing walked all the way from down back near the pond? Or the wooded area back there? Just how? That's terrifying. I'm so glad you are hyper vigilant about the water. Imagine if you hadn't come out there when you did. Thank you Terry!

    Oh Lester, you had me laughing after the first shock of the gator in the pool. Poor thing smelled your refreshing water and had to go find it. Your river must be very low too. Continued prayers for rain and an end to the drought. Aside from all that, this was funny! Your reactions; priceless! Why did the gator cross the field? 😁

    Afternoon Lester. I enjoyed the live. I lived in Snook Texas so I knew we had gators in the Brazos, figured you had them in the San Jacinto . Never thought I'd see one in the pig's little turtle pool. Way to funny. Thank goodness it was a baby and that no one was bitten. I'd be keeping an eye out on all the ponds. Thanks for the laughs.     I'm glad the babies are ok! Alligators are very intelligent and can solve problems. I've seen a 17 footer climbing a fence to get to a pig.

    Lester I was saying everything you bleeped out along with you. I was laying in bed watching this and almost hit the ceiling when you first saw it. It scared the you know what out of me. You handled that situation like a champ!!! I’m glad no one got bit or hurt. I can’t help but think if all the goats had been there how much worse it could have been. Hopefully no more will show up. 😱😱😱

    Had to hop right over after your live to see the predator. OMG, that was frightening. So glad that the babies are okay. I would be looking for them everywhere after that like you feel spiders after seeing one.

    Wow that was a dangerous situation thank God it was just a small youngster that poor thing had to travel in awful long way to find your cooling station I’m glad you’re OK after swallowing your heart into your stomach lol and I’m so thankful that no one got hurt I loved at the beginning listening to Trudy honking at Newton she was letting him know only this pool only this pool it’s dangerous it’s dangerous I heard her honking and honking and honking at him I love pig Trudy she is so special makes me think about when you first got her and how all the people were saying it wouldn’t happen in a way she protects everybody also ❤️ glad you got a little rain yesterday even though you could’ve used a good inch or two hopefully you’ll get some more soon everyone have a great night love from Michigan 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😘❤️😘💕😘💗🥰

    I'd wondered if you'd ever come across a gator in the rivers, ponds etc. I've heard you talk about snakes, but never gators. Now I know.
