I paddled my local lake near Portland and there were literally over 100 new SUP paddlers coming at me and 2/3rds of them were on this costco BG board. Most of em weren't standing up. It was my first board too, so get that it's a hard value to beat, but it's slow and doesn't track well once you've gotten better. I wonder how many of these board will be returned at the end of summer...
I would like to ask you a question. If we have 2 identical SUP boards .. same construction material .. same shape .. same width, lets say 75 cm with the same paddler but different length. One 3 meters and the other 4.5 mmeters. Which one will be the fastest? and the difference in speed will be significant or very minimal? Thank you very much
Is there any other "paddle sport" that is more mindlessly trendy, yet totally useless, than paddle boarding? If you intend to go for a swim, why is it necessary to first waste money on a paddle board?

Actually, he is holding it correctly. The curve goes forward.

Why do you care? If it gets people on the water then it's serving a purpose. People swamp canoes all the time but that doesn't make them useless.
