What a great idea for a loop! Nice distance and variety. I like the trails and forest between Bear Lake and Bierstadt Lake even more than Bierstadt itself.

Thank you. There's not much to choose from this time of year, especially with the wicked winter winds and 95% of the trails buried in deep snow. We've been waiting for a clear low wind day for a few weeks. Thanks for watching.
Elevation gain is in the video and in description. It's not super hard. One of the easier hikes in the park. We hike a lot so elevation gain is not an issue, sometimes on a really steep hike, we just take lots of breather breaks. Thanks so much for watching.
