was searching for my ranch mix packet yesterday...ended up just mixing those spices with some powdered milk for my ranch seasoning packet I was missing for my crockpot meal
Homemade ranch is awesome, but it probably is better to make it in smaller batches since it's only good in the refrigerator for a week or so while Hidden Valley can hang out for a month or more. All of those "extra things" are what allows it to stay fresh longer. Like everything, it's a trade-off.
That is so true! Homemade ranch is so much better than store-bought but the shelf life just can't compare. Although I will say when I’m making this ranch now at home, since I know what the ingredients are it takes less than five minutes so it is super easy once you get it down!
Really? I haven't done a ton of research on seed oils yet, but heard about them being inflammatory on a few podcasts, so that's why I stopped using them. Do you have any good podcasts you'd recommend to learn more?
@@OurFamilyCooks I follow a bunch of doctors who have come out and said we were lied to and now telling the truth about big pharma etc: Dr. Ken Berry is one and a little different perspective but still similar is Dr. Berg. I eat mostly meat because I have several Autoimmune conditions and I ended up getting sick in Jan, I was able to just quit smoking but I was afraid I was going gain a ton of weight on top of being over weight. I came across this info and did the elimination diet and let me tell you , You have No idea how things affect you UNTIL you take them out of your diet and then at them back in..If I eat something that has seed oil I can feel it in my Joints in less than an hour :( I ate popcorn once and didn't realize it was popped in seed oil ( I know it's not the popcorn because I just at that the other day popped in olive oil and I was fine :) My Thought back in Jan was what do I have to loose.. Well let me tell you besides 80+ lbs it was A TON of stuff people NEED to learn the proper diet and nutrition so they feed their kids properly they SERIOUSLY are being poisoned and will have MANY health probs :( good luck)

Because my video editor is from Europe and I felt it wasn’t that big of a deal so I didn’t make him change it 😆 🤷🏻♀️
