I first heard June from the Skala album in my car and it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck just love everything on the album and to be honest everything else by this great musician.
Wonderful trumpet playing , bought this album in 2010 and 'Oslo' is in many of my own playlists since then Cant get enough His playing on this reminds me of the way Jan Garbarek plays his sax ! DJEJ ps Brunborg himself is an accomplished sax player too!
It's unfortunate that the album is no longer available on RUclips except as a paid Premium. I have the disc but obviously can't share that with online friends. While some may argue against that practice, it can be a way of promoting artists like Mathias Eick.
