Turnovers wasn't Pittman's fault. Tipped ball that should have been caught...and one on ball that was punched out, if it goes out of bounds like it did when Hudson Clark forced a fumble then we keep the ball.
As a longtime Texas Longhorn fan, I have always liked Coach Pitman. His character and leadership is one of the best out there, but I get why Hog fans are frustrated. Remember that Texas fans have been there for 14-15 years now. Lol And we changed 3 coaches in 8 years to find the right one to build a Championship team. Unfortunately, Arkansas might have to make a choice now and look for someone who can change the culture. Lastly, for anyone who thinks Texas isn’t good or a #3 team, go look at all the other top 10 teams who have only won by 1-3 points on an away game. We won by 10 which is a solid number in a hostile environment. Arkansas fought, but Texas looked to be too much especially defensively. Great teams FIND a way to win. He missed a wide open Setegna and opted for a check down instead of a touchdown, then in the fourth missed a wide open Tesla for another check down. He has trouble reading defense and seeing the field, it’s time to go to Singleton. And as far as sam goes, go enjoy your retirement. I would be satisfied with either Petrino or Williams being the head guy.
I thought he was an offensive line coach before HY decided to take a chance on him as the Razorback HC. As such, one might think that a solid offensive line would be his badge of honor and pride and joy. Apparently not. I don't even care that they lost the game. It does bother me however that he's supposed to be some sort of an offensive line expert and then we see ....THIS! This is one of THE WORST offensive line performances we've had in a while. The defense played well today. It's a shame thier efforts were nullified by an inept offensive line and a very uninspiring and lackadaisical HC.

The “Arkansas can’t compete in the SEC” sentiment is just patently stupid. Houston Nutt did it, Bobby Petrino did it. The university has plenty of resources, and Northwest Arkansas continues to be one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country with access to plenty Fortune 500 companies and deep-pocketed donors. It’s simply a matter of being able to deploy those resources and spend the money. Do we continue to accept mediocrity with an O-line coach turned HC or do we do what the basketball program did and pony up the money to bring in a top notch coach and build up the NIL war chest? The football program isn't going to move forward until Sam Pittman is gone. They've apparently lowered the bar as far as possible for him so 6-6 apparently is OK. Just look at next year's schedule, things will probably be worse. The university just isn't serious about having a winning football program yet they still want people to give money to their NIL
