Natsume and Micchy make a hella good team when she actually uses him. He is a pretty powerful starter mon with great potential, he just needs better directions, leaving him to his own devices in battle usually ends in failure (unless he actually stops for a minute and uses his brain, like in ep 25).
And she just disses him half the time and when she uses him he actually does stuff I do feel annoyed that his slimamander form isn’t user enough and his muscle form is used for comic relief
@@ellisp276 yeah, poor guy doesn't get enough moments to shine, despite being genuinely good at what his strengths are (his Shadowside form's brute force and bulkiness, his Lightside's agility and long jumps). I do love it that he occasionally wins by thinking outside the box and making creative solutions to problems, and finds ways to utilize his abilities (such as his petrification ray) in ways that are actually helpful. He still lacks in actual training, strategy and concentration, and would benefit from using his much stronger Shadowside more (it does appear that his unwillingness to use it is rooted in self-image issues and fear of rejection, though, so him choosing the hard way out and strengthening his Lightside instead is understandable), but with enough encouragement and support from his human summoners, he could do great things.
