Speaking from a homeowner with a pool, do it! It’s definitely manageable and not a drag as ppl like to say! And as kids are younger, put them in lessons and then they’ll take advantage of the pool! It wouldn’t be a waste i promise ❤
Girl, London is COLD! I mean, you love Zara, Zara is everywhere in Europe, there is H&M and ton of stores. I don't think that shorts are a good option, I think it's going to be too cold for the places you've chosen.
In the Netherlands (quite the same weather as Paris and London) it's now ok, but fall is around 40 a 50 degrees with wind and especially rain... But we also have stores of course. :) Sad there won't be an opportunity to run into you guys! And your hair looks amazing!
I dont think its gonna be so warm in France on your trip, I live in Poland and fall in Europe is rather windy, rainy and coldish so I'd suggest you prepare yourself for cold and rain. A lot of this layers help, you can always take something off/ add something on :)
Europe in winter gets COLD, if you're going to the south the clothes you have could work. But I live in Belgium and here you would need clothes for rainy weather!

Re: clothes. Would you consider layering? We live in Boston and I layer my girls with fleece lined leggings under most pants. Often dress them in sweatpants or knit leggings over top. Lots of top layers and staple jackets. I know it won’t be that cold there but just a thought. Although, from experience I would not pack shorts. For the color palette try to mix in olive green, mustard yellow, mocha, orangey brown with your peaches pinks and blush color ways for a fall transition.
