Halloween is a 1978 American independent slasher film directed and scored by John Carpenter, co-written with producer Debra Hill, and starring Donald Pleasance and Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut. The plot tells about a mental patient Michael Myers who was committed to a sanitarium for murdering his babysitting teenage sister on Halloween night when he was six years old. Fifteen years later, he escapes and returns to his hometown, where he stalks a female babysitter and her friends, while under pursuit by his psychiatrist.

I don't know how much longer they going to keep making Michael Myers Halloween means but they're all great but the original in 1978 this was the best movie of all times. When Jamie Lee Curtis first started acting, and John Carpenter s first produced n written Halloween and created Michael Myers. BEST MOVIE 🍿 of all times. They can keep making more Horror Halloweens but never will there be one like this wonderful original 1978 movie....

I remember the scene. I have adopted "You can't kill the boogie man" as a personal motto. To remind myself, never turn your back to danger. Its when you think its over that it is not over, that you are most vulnerable. I cringe in any movie when the characters spend more time looking at each and talking to each, instead of keeping their eyes scanning 360 degrees on all sides and up and down.
You may think this is paranoid. I never make what I call "the assumption of normality". Everything is normal until the moment it is NOT normal.
I notice people cross the street with their head down looking at their mobile phone. Not looking at the traffic around them. I notice people walk around with ear buds or headphones, not listening for sounds that might be a warning.
