@KimOsorioMedia Yes. No offense, but u def sound like a tool. U can't fake this, u can't duplicate it. Why would you make a statement like "It's up to us to police ourselves" on a national platform like that within the setting of the traditional media. That's almost like a duh, but at the same time, what it definitely is is something that "they" (traditional media, mainstream journalist talking heads) would say, who are not really a part of the culture, even if they're talking about it on their news program for views and critiques, as anybody who's part of the culture would really know and understand. First of all Diddy doesn't represent the culture, altho he was a prominent figure in the culture and was extremely relevant in the history of the culture; unfortunately, due to the person he is. But once again, that being said, this whole conversation is way more nuanced than "We need to police ourselves", as anybody who is actually part of the culture would realize, I'm quite sure. I grew up on hip hop ( the culture as a whole, which includes rap music), and to be honest, even tho I'm passionately speaking about this, there's lots of things I don't agree with as far as; especially, rap music, even from the beginning, as I've changed my life and gave it to God, as I used to be a street dude but I am no longer that as I've grown with my relationship with God. But that being said, I just see so much conversation around this that's so wrong, considering what hip hop is as a whole, the negative and the positive, and it's usually obviously not done well, and not from the perspective of somebody who was actually really acquainted with the culture, and it's just really sounds silly and messed up. Now I know I went pretty hard in this comment but this isn't necessarily an indictment of you I don't even know your history well enough to go that far with it but I just said my critiques in criticisms in my opinion based on what I saw. I apologize fully if I'm out of order on any of this but that's where I stand as of right now💯. God bless

Calling out men, saying they didn't believe Cassie's accusations is a pretty broad stroke you're taking. Please do not let a few idiot rappers be the measuring stick for men in the Hip Hop culture. Talk to people not under contract or emplyed by a label.

It doesn’t change anything! It will make some bad actors more stealthy about their criming, but this arrest is not going to turn hip hop culture woke. Not hardly.🤷🏼‍♂️

I never heard them refer to these "freak off" parties until last year and the Cassie case. These aren't the parties I went to. I went to his parties in the 90s, much different than what I am reading about now.
