Have you tried using a router to ensure it was getting an IP assigned to it? It might have been different from what you expected or have some ports blocked in spite of having SSH enabled
You mentioned that the CPU was getting very hot, maybe there is the problem? Its a lot of work to change a soldered CPU and probably just not worth it for the cost of the computer.
Yeah, in the first video I did on this computer I came to the conclusion that I was relatively skeptical that the CPU itself was the problem, and I can't find any of these Intel N100's for sale that I could solder on (at least not for less money than a brand new one of these mini-PCs)
Fact: I actually have this same Beelink mini. It'll be two years old in May. The computer itself works great, but a recent Windows11 update has bricked it's ability to download, cuz MS sucks donkeys. Good thing I have four other computers including three running various Linux distros. To hell with MS.
Pour some alcohol onto the bare board and turn it on. See if evaporates quickly in one specific component
ive heard that some of these use a non-standard version of Windows.

How about hot air gun to warm up entire biard? Might kick start it
Bios Indeed if it's dual bios short pin 1 and 6 and turn on to go to backup bios to work, making main to be reflashed

Have you attempted turning off and on again?

Been running Ubuntu on mine for over a year now.. no problems.
Put only one stick or ram in
I would have tried that for sure, except this system actually only has a single RAM slot
