You’re SLEEPING on the BEST GUN IN MWIII! (MTZ INTERCEPTOR) is 1 shot head shot anywhere and 2 shot anywhere! Test it out I have the class set up for it and dropped a lot of Nuke with this gun
I love the little details Ace puts into his videos like at 9:31 when he switches to the Bas-B in the gameplay right when he mentions it's his #1 gun. Or when he mentions headshots being good for a gun, then getting a headshot in the gameplay. It doesn't go unnoticed, Ace!
If anyone is still working on certain armory unlocks, the infection (infectious holiday) playlist is great for that. Match time is relatively short and you get a win for every game. Might also be an easy XP experience for some. Much faster games than Ship. You can also work on late attachment unlocks for guns you're still working on. Tip: snowballs have a small blast radius. They don't do full damage but comes in handy occasionally.
Infection was done best by Halo it’s not that good on Call of Duty because of throwing knives which they started in 2011 after Halo fell off. Interesting they steal a playlist from another game and can’t make a 1-1 copy besides map editing is not a thing.
My favorite gun, which I haven't seen a single soul talk about, in the DM56. It doesn't handle like any of the other Marksman Rifles in MWII or III. It's an extremely consistent 2 shot kill, but it has the ADS speed and handling of an AR. It reminds me most of the semi-auto ARs from WWII and Vanguard. It's just a snappy, quick, and extremely consistent weapon in almost all situations.
DM56 made me fall in love with marksmen rifles. I wonder if it would have made Aces list if he was designing the list as an overall and not overall for normal/average/casual players. Making a list with the majority in mind is a nice move. Thanks, Ace

Really? Cor is good yes once you unlocked that faster trigger. But renetti? I absolutely loved that thing in previous games. But here i really hate it, so damn weak. Unless they buffed it or im doing something wrong that thing shoots snowballs at close range
i dont know what it is but the burst renetti has been nothing but terrible for me. i hate that thing. but i get killed so hard by it... in my hands its a pee shooter. i dont know why
@@FlowKomit’s a menace when akimbo’d. In normal mode tho you basically have to hit upper chest/neck/head for a 4 bullet kill. Slap the trigger that increases rate of fire and the laser that increases aim stability along with high grain rounds.
Interesting to see others having a hard time with the Renetti. I absolutely blew a few lobbies away with that thing while I was leveling it up even without any attachments
The KVD enforcer is always my go to weapon in mw3. It's a monster if you can handle the pacing of the rifle. You basically 1 tap ppl in the head from basically all ranges. Don't sleep on the marksman rifles fellas 🔥
Marksman rifles were my favourite part of the camo grind, i did better with them than any other gun, my kd went from 1.05 to 1.1 while doing the marksman rifles, all of them were great!
This is the first COD I've done a proper camo grind for and now I finally got interstellar, I can safely say I've had the full experience of all the guns in the game, and you're right - the difference between the good ones and the terrible ones is extreme, some of them are just unusable and were an absolute slog to level up / complete the camo's for. I'm glad you put the Holger 26 on your list, built correctly it's one of the most satisfying guns for me atm, mobility of an AR (almost) with the punch of an LMG - great fun.
The BAS-B needs a slight nerf imo. More fine tuning than a nerf even. You just can’t win a gunfight against it. Maybe more damage profiles or requiring a headshot but it’s just SLIGHTLY to strong atm. But I do agree with the point that the weaker guns could use buffs over the better guns getting nerfed. The P890 needs a ammo buff and I think a lot of the MWII weapons could have their recoil/visual recoil adjusted
@bradenmchenry995 give evidence for your claim. As is, it shoots about the same as the MCW, but kills in 1 less bullet. It outgunned SMGs at close range and handles like a normal AR. This is objectively busted, regardless of your desire to roleplay rhe new army rifle
The BAS-B is fine. The problem is the MTZ762 and the LMGs are too weak. The sect of players who only use SMGs and ARs are too used to getting their way with every game.

WSP Swarm easily top 5 imo. And I would put the SVA 545 up there too. Good ttk and mobility, and the burst ability makes it surprisingly good at range.
Just another top level video Ace. I agree with your thought process on buffing the weaker weapons opposed to nerfing the better ones. Sadly, I'm not going to hold out much hope the dev's feel the same. With the quality of vids you pump out Ace, it won't be long before you crack the 1M subs milestone.
After playing around with most of the new weapons and some from MW2, I have landed on the MTZ Interceptor. It requires precision, but I can win almost every gunfight I get in at any range, CQB being the biggest issue. The one shot headshot capabilities at most ranges is amazing. I see no reason to use any other weapon in the game as of right now for MP.
I think the WSP-9 w/ the Broodmother conversion kit is really good if you kit it with recoil mitigation in mind and play a little more like it's an assault rifle than an SMG. The open bolt delay definitely makes the gun feel odd at first, but use it enough and you'll get around it.
Great video Ace. Unfortunately in my S&D lobbies, people use the following three things -- the new Sniper, the knife, and MCW. Then there's the occasional Rival-9.
The COR-45 is probably one of my favorite pistols in recent memory. I picked one up in zombies on a no weapon drop and immediately loved how little recoil it has. Built one out for Zombies and TDM.
I'm kinda sad people have found it so good in Warzone. It was completely slept on in multiplayer before Warzone launched and I was one of very few I saw run it in normal lobbies. Now I am seeing it quite a bit more. I'm like the secret is getting out lol.

The longbow is very easy to use if you build it like a marksman’s rifle. It has a surprisingly good one-shot potential for how fast it fires and how large the base mag is. Even if you’re mostly two-shotting with it it’s still a very good gun. The Polemyot is good if you’re a slower otherwise the limited mobility and handling absolutely kills the gun. The WSP Swarm is a very fast and reliable smg for close range gunfights and if you use the akimbo stock brace it’s pretty fun too. The DM marksman’s rifle may not be a competitive gun but it’s one of my favorites and is pretty balanced at all ranges, if you can hit headshots of course it’s a very good weapon.
Maybe it would be worth doing a Top 10 Worst Guns, for extra visibility and a case/evidence to be made for anyone watching from SHG? Obvious candidates that come immediately to mind are the FR 5.56, Striker 9 and AMR9.
The Swarm should be the golden child for SMG with the 100 round drum while built the right way feels like u can do no wrong and can drop doubles, trips and quads if you know how to use it.. All it needs is better recoil and its game over
it'd be interesting to see how you build other mw2 guns. a lot of people just like to use certain guns like the mp5 or rpk for example, whether they're good or not
Seeing the M13B made me jump for joy. I used it almost religiously since 2019 and have it nailed down to a science. Billeted brake muzzle Phase 3 grip VLK laser Flash tape And then flash stock for speed and factory for longer engagements. Personally I use flash more.
Its hard to say what my main weapons are since im still chasing interstellar, but after getting my ARs forged ive been feeling like my top two are the holger AR for mid-long range and the mtz AR for short-mid range. Although I did recently run one of the marksman rifles in a really fun strafing build on ship/meat 24/7 with some really good results so i might be playing with them more for the first time ....also i will absolutely have a dedicated cor-45 class. Seriously, even in my first ten matches I was HOPING someone would challenge me while i reloaded just so i could pull out my secondary 😂
I thought the MTZ was trash in the Beta. but tried it out again and it’s my fav gun in the game now once you get good attachments that can control the recoil for it the gun shreds.
I kind of like the Taq Eradicator for an LMG. It has the interesting firing pattern. With very fast 3-4 bullets and then slowing down. If you catch them with the first bullets they drop super fast. It's downside is the keeping up momentum so best to burst the fast rounds out then pause. But it is situational.
2:42 i knew something felt off about that. The other day on reddit i was telling someone that the dg-58 was an AR and the dg-58 lsw was the LMG but they told me the assault rife was the dg-56
You nailed it. Maybe Taq-Eradicator, but otherwise, nailed it. I'm also glad you chose the M4 from MW2. In that game, it was my go-to assault. Recoil was minimal enough to go head to head as with the Taq-56 if you just pull down a wee bit on that joystick, but with the correct attachments and tuning (which I miss) the ADS was simply astounding on an assault rifle. Rival 9 is great at short distance, but the recoil makes it difficult for the further edge of its range. Rival 9 or Striker? Depends on the map, really.
I love the Bas so much and I've never liked battle rifles. Getting to drop the stupid field upgrade to carry a second primary is amazing too, Bas + Lockwood 680 is such a fun build to run
The MTZ Intercepter marksman rifle is definitely top 2. You can build it as mid to long range rifle or more of a rush build and it's still solid. 2 shots to the body or 1 to the head. Also give the Vel 46 from mw2 a look in this game, been running around wrecking with it in War.
Could we see a video about ADS speed? On top of the stocks, barrels, grip, and lasers that deal with ADS, we have scopes and underbarrels that can improve ads. I wonder how fast you can make an smg, ar, or an lmg ads.
Ace can you do a video breaking down some attatchents from mw2 to mw3 ,a lot of them cant really compete ( like for example some for of aiming stability is missing on grips and stocks ) and even some attatchmets are missing like 60 rnd mag for m13c or second barrel for minibak , its just really backwards to me why the guns are performing worse than in mw2 , a huge thank you if you can see this ❤️
i think the wsp swarm should’ve made it over either the m4, but i respect the list overall, would love to see a top 10 worst guns, or just guns you would like to see given buffs. suggesting how you would change them might also be interesting, as game balance like this when it comes to the sheer amount of almost unusable guns must be a hard task
With the list having the possibility of becoming non-accurate in the future you could consider making a top 10 list for guns per season (or every other season) to make sure the players will always be up to date.
M13B, and Bas B have been solid for me. Rival 9 is decent but inconsistent at times. I feel like they forgot they were supposed to balance the rest of the SMGs 😅
I would like to see a vid comparing the base COR45 and the COR45 with its conversion kit. Right now I’m using it with the kit on my sniper class and it’s really good. Great video as always!

Since the Holger 26 has the 37 damage sweetspot, does that mean that incendiary rounds is capable of bringing it down to 4 shots to kill with 1-2 ticks of tire damage before the last shot?
Truegamedata has all the mw2 (and 3) weapons with their damage and ranges up on his site. Not sure how well he will keep up with it over the year, but it’s accurate up until the warzone launch. Ace covered the changes made to the mw2 weapons since (like the m4 buff).
I need some Marksman Rifle R representation. I feel like I keep going back to them anytime SBMM starts to kick in. Headshots are king with the average slow TTK.
I like a lot of the guns you listed, but also really enjoy the RAM-7, MTZ-762, and a lot of the marksmans. I tend to lean towards semi-autos, even for ARs. While there is a huge divide between the good guns and the bad guns, it feels like there's enough good guns that no handful feels super oppressive in the meta. I really appreciate that, cause there's almost always those couple guns that just make the rest pale in comparison (VAL & MP5 from MW2019 for example.) Feels like if they brought the bad guns up to snuff that this game has the potential to have the best weapon balance we've seen in a long while.
Any news on camo challenges still not tracking? Bas-B, Interceptor, some others. I did borealis first, but now kinda feel like quitting because i cant even finish the MP grind.
They really need to overwork the mw2 guns. I get that the new guns are a selling point and all that but I would prefer a healthy mix where every gun is at least viable with certain trade offs to make them feel nice. For example it makes no sense that the kastov 762 kicks me on the other side of the map and has decent damage at most while most mw3 guns do more damage while handling better.
Lachmann762 also got ruined. I just want to use a g3 dude but they made the thing a 4 shot in semi auto without buffing anything about it. The damn cor45 pistol is way better
You should do a video testing the commonly used sights used for competitive. I go back and forth between mk3 and slate cause I never know which one is better with visual recoil or a bouncing reticle etc…. Best account on YT should have 10 million subscribers ggs pal
I was very sad about the DG nerf, but it was deserved. Even with the nerf though, I still only run the DG with a sniper switch (ground war player here). With a 20 round mag on it, it is so dam fast with ADS speed, sprint to fire, and a movement speed buff; not to mention the reload speed is like less than a second. I am a burst guy in these games, and I'm so happy they finally made a comeback in this game. The DG is where it's at even post nerf. Try it with these attatchments - Shadowstrike suppressor, 20 round mag, LS18 barrel, Harken OP grip, FTAC SP-10 underbarrel
I wish they'd fix the camo tracking for the stormender. I don't feel like doing the snipers, so I did everything else, and the stormender priceless is all I'm missing for interstellar, but it doesn't track affecting operators
My top 10 in no particular order accept the last 3(my favourites) are. Cor 45, Wsp swarm, Rival 9, mtz 556, Holger 26, interceptor, bas b, Dg 56, Dm56 and the, taq eradicator.
The Basb says all around reliability. Jack of all trade guns are very dangerous if they don't have a 1 major downside. Assault Rifles don't have enough range and lmgs don't ads fast enough or have enough range to compete with the basb.
I really like the SVA 545. Maybe it's just me, but it melts people at long range. I can even pick snipers off in the distance by strafing and tapping this gun.

The TAQ Eradicator is the best LMG in my opinion and can be configured (with a 45rd mag) to act like a very compact and lethal Battle Rifle as well.

I think the COR and Renetti are perhaps the best launch pistols I’ve seen. I had gold pistols well before any other guns.

I put a 2.5 scope on it and it does just as good as the ram or the mcw

The Swarm should be the golden child for SMG with the 100 round drum while built the right way feels like u can do no wrong and can drop doubles, trips and quads if you know how to use it.. All it needs is better recoil and its game over
it'd be interesting to see how you build other mw2 guns. a lot of people just like to use certain guns like the mp5 or rpk for example, whether they're good or not

Its hard to say what my main weapons are since im still chasing interstellar, but after getting my ARs forged ive been feeling like my top two are the holger AR for mid-long range and the mtz AR for short-mid range. Although I did recently run one of the marksman rifles in a really fun strafing build on ship/meat 24/7 with some really good results so i might be playing with them more for the first time
....also i will absolutely have a dedicated cor-45 class. Seriously, even in my first ten matches I was HOPING someone would challenge me while i reloaded just so i could pull out my secondary 😂

I thought the MTZ was trash in the Beta. but tried it out again and it’s my fav gun in the game now once you get good attachments that can control the recoil for it the gun shreds.
I kind of like the Taq Eradicator for an LMG. It has the interesting firing pattern. With very fast 3-4 bullets and then slowing down. If you catch them with the first bullets they drop super fast. It's downside is the keeping up momentum so best to burst the fast rounds out then pause. But it is situational.
The ISO hemlock from MWII is very good in this game

2:42 i knew something felt off about that. The other day on reddit i was telling someone that the dg-58 was an AR and the dg-58 lsw was the LMG but they told me the assault rife was the dg-56
You nailed it. Maybe Taq-Eradicator, but otherwise, nailed it.
I'm also glad you chose the M4 from MW2. In that game, it was my go-to assault. Recoil was minimal enough to go head to head as with the Taq-56 if you just pull down a wee bit on that joystick, but with the correct attachments and tuning (which I miss) the ADS was simply astounding on an assault rifle.
Rival 9 is great at short distance, but the recoil makes it difficult for the further edge of its range. Rival 9 or Striker? Depends on the map, really.

I love the Bas so much and I've never liked battle rifles. Getting to drop the stupid field upgrade to carry a second primary is amazing too, Bas + Lockwood 680 is such a fun build to run

Because 90% of people can't aim, so they use an absolute laser rifle with their aim assist and don't have to do anything.

The MTZ Intercepter marksman rifle is definitely top 2. You can build it as mid to long range rifle or more of a rush build and it's still solid. 2 shots to the body or 1 to the head. Also give the Vel 46 from mw2 a look in this game, been running around wrecking with it in War.

Could we see a video about ADS speed? On top of the stocks, barrels, grip, and lasers that deal with ADS, we have scopes and underbarrels that can improve ads. I wonder how fast you can make an smg, ar, or an lmg ads.

Ace can you do a video breaking down some attatchents from mw2 to mw3 ,a lot of them cant really compete ( like for example some for of aiming stability is missing on grips and stocks ) and even some attatchmets are missing like 60 rnd mag for m13c or second barrel for minibak , its just really backwards to me why the guns are performing worse than in mw2 , a huge thank you if you can see this ❤️
MTZ interceptor is one of my favorites. Slight learning curve to it being a semi auto marksman rifle but it’s a two shot kill from any range

In terms of sniper, the xrk stalker is the best for quick scoping. I find the longbow and inhibitor do a lot of hit markers.
i think the wsp swarm should’ve made it over either the m4, but i respect the list overall, would love to see a top 10 worst guns, or just guns you would like to see given buffs. suggesting how you would change them might also be interesting, as game balance like this when it comes to the sheer amount of almost unusable guns must be a hard task
The instagib headshots of the interceptor are nasty af too
With the list having the possibility of becoming non-accurate in the future you could consider making a top 10 list for guns per season (or every other season) to make sure the players will always be up to date.

M13B, and Bas B have been solid for me. Rival 9 is decent but inconsistent at times. I feel like they forgot they were supposed to balance the rest of the SMGs 😅

Since the Holger 26 has the 37 damage sweetspot, does that mean that incendiary rounds is capable of bringing it down to 4 shots to kill with 1-2 ticks of tire damage before the last shot?
I really hope the bas b doesn’t get nerfed. Such a satisfying gun to use and buffing other weaker guns would make the gunplay more expansive

No, I won't be doing that but I may at least try to dive deep into some of the better MW2 guns over time

Truegamedata has all the mw2 (and 3) weapons with their damage and ranges up on his site. Not sure how well he will keep up with it over the year, but it’s accurate up until the warzone launch. Ace covered the changes made to the mw2 weapons since (like the m4 buff).
Holger 556 accuracy build with 20 round mag is my top gun from your builds, DM56 is my best DMR, and Striker is my best SMG. Thanks for your builds!

The wsp swarm is probably my favorite gun. The reload speed gets me killed a lot though
I use the Tempus Torrent with drum in Warzone and it still hits pretty good.
I like a lot of the guns you listed, but also really enjoy the RAM-7, MTZ-762, and a lot of the marksmans. I tend to lean towards semi-autos, even for ARs.
While there is a huge divide between the good guns and the bad guns, it feels like there's enough good guns that no handful feels super oppressive in the meta. I really appreciate that, cause there's almost always those couple guns that just make the rest pale in comparison (VAL & MP5 from MW2019 for example.) Feels like if they brought the bad guns up to snuff that this game has the potential to have the best weapon balance we've seen in a long while.

They really need to overwork the mw2 guns. I get that the new guns are a selling point and all that but I would prefer a healthy mix where every gun is at least viable with certain trade offs to make them feel nice. For example it makes no sense that the kastov 762 kicks me on the other side of the map and has decent damage at most while most mw3 guns do more damage while handling better.
Agreed, because most MW2 are just bad, there aren't even enough MW3 guns to make up for that
Lachmann762 also got ruined. I just want to use a g3 dude but they made the thing a 4 shot in semi auto without buffing anything about it. The damn cor45 pistol is way better
My favs right now outside of the snipers are the Lockwood 680 shotgun and the SVA 545 AR.
You should do a video testing the commonly used sights used for competitive. I go back and forth between mk3 and slate cause I never know which one is better with visual recoil or a bouncing reticle etc…. Best account on YT should have 10 million subscribers ggs pal
I was very sad about the DG nerf, but it was deserved. Even with the nerf though, I still only run the DG with a sniper switch (ground war player here). With a 20 round mag on it, it is so dam fast with ADS speed, sprint to fire, and a movement speed buff; not to mention the reload speed is like less than a second. I am a burst guy in these games, and I'm so happy they finally made a comeback in this game. The DG is where it's at even post nerf.
Try it with these attatchments - Shadowstrike suppressor, 20 round mag, LS18 barrel, Harken OP grip, FTAC SP-10 underbarrel
The Glock 21 with the binary trigger is absolutely nuts
I wish they'd fix the camo tracking for the stormender. I don't feel like doing the snipers, so I did everything else, and the stormender priceless is all I'm missing for interstellar, but it doesn't track affecting operators
I think the BAS-B and Holger 556 could catch a nerf but the Holger only needs a small one. Less range, especially for the short barrels.
My top 10 in no particular order accept the last 3(my favourites) are.
Cor 45, Wsp swarm, Rival 9, mtz 556, Holger 26, interceptor, bas b, Dg 56, Dm56 and the, taq eradicator.

Jack of all trade guns are very dangerous if they don't have a 1 major downside.
Assault Rifles don't have enough range and lmgs don't ads fast enough or have enough range to compete with the basb.
I've been loving using the WSP9
I really like the SVA 545. Maybe it's just me, but it melts people at long range. I can even pick snipers off in the distance by strafing and tapping this gun.
