I totally agree with most of your opinions. I have cruised both Costa and MSC, for me Costa is more loud , more funny but less classy. So even if I enjoyed both Costa and MSC, I do prefer MSC by large.
Hey! Thanks for your comment. Agreed, they're a lot more different than I thought. Had a brilliant time on both though and would do again 😁👍🏼 Do you have any booked at the moment?
@@EmmaCruises Well, we just disembarked from MSC Opera last monday, the next one we have booked is a Royal Caribbean, we have not been in that line yet. Have you tried it already? Could you give us your opinion? Thanks again, we really enjoy your videos.
Perfect and spot on - I cruised with both (1st MSC and 2nd wirh Costa) and the things are, as you have described it. I went on a costa fascinosa cruise about 3 weeks ago and the dinner is so good you dont have to order everything and if you order the right amount you shouldnt need an extra buffet . Also during the day we found there was always food snacks like burgers and fries and also lots of donuts!! I found our room was cleaned once but we were given towels at night and in the morning . If you want more drinks you have to buy an extra package which costs a hit extra. I loved the fact around 11:30 - 2:30 they had a different type of fresh food in the pool are either paella, pasta, seafood and lots more.Personally if its an italian cruise you should enjoy their culture and not expect everyone to speak our language just because we dont speak theres
I love your videos, and I'm not one to comment! We are definately sit down, set time, hour and a half diners! Our FIRST cruise was on Costa. Our room was huge, big closets, bathtub. I don't remember the shows, but the intros were in several languages. Really fun thing, the ship had its own song, which we sang before every show! This was in the days of smoking anywhere and nightly midnight buffets! There was no "cruise staff". The singers and dancers from the shows were running various activities during the day. They even went on shore excursions. All in all, it was a great intro to cruising!
You had me at "pizza" ... :-) Thanks so much for this. My wife and I are looking at a 3-4 day cruise out of Marseille in April, going to Genoa, Barcelona, Mallorca (MSC) or Savona and Barcelona (Costa). Your descriptions of the different cultures is very useful to me. The MSC ship is Opera, Costa is Fortuna. We'll get a balcony. I'm leaning toward MSC for several reasons, including some of your experiences. Thanks again!
Used to work for Costa 10+ years ago (before the Costa accident) the Master Drill was exactly as described. I think it is slightly more "realistic" and, during the Drill, personnel would check the general state of your lifejacket and replace any sub-par ones.
@@EmmaCruises I'll have to get back to you on that. I'll be on board as a Passenger for the first time next April. MSC Opera. It's a weird feeling, I'm excited but I'm not sure what to expected. Not worried about seasickness or packing, mostly rudeness and if my 3-year-old is going to like it. Wish me luck :)
I have had eight Costa cruises and three MSC, MSC the cabins were much smaller, and yes the evening meal was MSC three courses Costa seven courses and a couple of hours Yes MSC is mostly English speaking though I prefer to be a minority English speaking on a majority Italian speaking ship, Much more like a foreign holiday than a week in Blackpool :-)
Great vlog! I cruised Casta to the Caribbean about 15 years ago and I loved it but that was my only Cruise so I don't remember it very well since I've gone on 20 other ones since then. I went on the MSC meraviglia in February and I loved that.
@@EmmaCruises Oh yes I would love to try Costa again. I like all of the cruise lines for different reasons. If they were all alike I think I would get bored. So I'm not one of those people who sticks to one particular Cruise Line. Have you ever cruised from Dubai?
This is a very good explanation, as I have wondered what the differences were. I have not done Costa, but have done MSC on the following ships: Posea, Divina, Seaside (Yacht Club), and Armonia. On Armonia, there is free scooped Gelato on deck (freshly made on-board), and the Suite Dining Room is outstanding. Armonia also has small midnight buffets, the best dining room food in the fleet (including YC dining room), and some of the best pizza, at sea. The only other ship that equals the pizza, is the Bahamas Paradise Grand Classica, which has an Italian chef. The Costa Classica has been well maintained by BPL, great Grand Bahama cruises out of Palm Beach.
Costa is not Italian anymore, MSC it is. I'm going to my first cruise with MSC in September and I'm glad I chose it, thanks for sharing your thoughts (I'm Italian I speak English, German, Spanish and French).❤
I found this really interesting Emma! Great video! I cruised with MSC back in 2013 and it seems from your experiences they have massively changed since then! They way you described the dining, languages and Muster drill on Costa is very similar to the experience I had on MSC. I'd be interested to try MSC again to compare to my original experience!
Hey Rachael! Thanks for your comment. Yep, I think MSC have listened to feedback a lot and have made changes. Definitely worth trying again to compare! :)
Thanks Emma, very interesting as usual and I especially liked the your summary at the end. I haven't cruised with either, but its quite surprising to hear the differences and I'd probably lean towards MSC out of the two based on what you've said.
Hey Malcolm, thank you! Id quite happily cruise with either, especially if the price is right. MSC and Costa are usually half the price of American or British lines! 😁👍🏼 I sometimes see Costa Cruises for around £40 a day, its amazing any food is included for that! Haha.
Thanks so much for your MSC videos. I’m planning a trip to Italy next year and was initially thinking of NCL along the coast of Italy but MSC would seem to provide a more immersive Italian experience.
Went on the costa riviera back in 1989. I’m sure things have changed a lot in 30 years. Yes the old traditional Italian style as far as dinner goes can be a long drawn out event. I’m second generation American of Italian descent. Especially when my grandparents were alive and knowing lots of Italian Americans like myself, traditional dining was always many courses of food.
Great vid as usual. We mainly cruise MSC and RCI and you're right to say each cruise line is very different, you just have to choose which suits you best. Would love to see comparisons on shore excursions they vary enormously too in everything from cost to quality and even the way the tour is delivered, we hate the earphone thing that's popular at the moment.
hey emma if you want to know what how costa cruise line is just look up cruise ship diries on you tube and you will find out about costa cruises and how they operate
Perfect video on all types of cruising, not knowing what itineraries you're going to ports of call. Most likely will be changed, which in itself is very nerve-racking and the uncertainty. Per the hotel stay before and after with travel insurance very important. I'm getting on Costa Smeralda March 9th cross fingers
naples is offered with palace caserta, lisbon offers pena palace sintra although these are easy enough to reach from port. edinburgh glasgow dublin....
At MSC you can have 6 courses if you want: Soup, starter, main course, salad, sweet dessert, cheese. There are three sections and you can mix and match just as you please. You can have ice cream as dessert in the MDR, but it is standard industrial low quality. I would rather skip dessert and pay a few euros for fresh made high quality ice cream at the parlor. So I don't think this is a disadvantage at Costa. I don't understand why they charge extra for pizza though. I mean, it's pizza. And this is Italy!
Hi Emma enjoyed your video thanks, very informative. We are taking our first Mediterranean cruises next year back to back MSC Magnifica and then Costa Smeralda. We've only been on P&O Australia and Royal Caribbean so really had no idea what to expect with MSC & Costa, we are looking forward to the new experiences 😁 thanks and great job 👍
Great video, Emma. I have never been on a Costa Cruise. Actually our travelagency didnt recommend it, when we wanted to cruise for the first time ind 2011. Since then we have been on the MSC Orchestra, Poesia, Magnifica and Preziosa. In june we are going on our honeymoon on the Meraviglia, and by looking on your earlier videoes, we are in for a treat :-) Nice to se a video, that compares specially those two cruiselines. Quite surprised about the food on Costa.....or the lack of food, that is. The same with the cleaning. Only once a day? We love that its 2 times on the MSC. Specially when we get back in the evening, and the cabin is nice and clean. Keep the vlogs comming :-)
Hey Michael! Thank you. The cruise really was so so cheap (less than £50 per night) so I don't think I could expect too much haha. Had a great time though! I don't think i'd recommend Costa for a first cruise unless the person knew about all the languages and maybe a little Italian ha ha... Cruising is confusing! 😂👍🏼
i remember i was in primary school and the fire alarm went off in a lesson and honestly back then i would be hard to deal with but then just randomly the muster siren goes off? What about if it was real? Like it could of been because of the Concordia so people aren't scared but for little kids that would be really scary probably.
Great video! About housekeeping, Costa used to clean cabins twice a day. In 2018 they asked you if you wanted the morning or the evening or still both. I learned from your video they deleted the "both" option recently. It seems like it changed again because on my March Costa cruise, they didn't ask for anything, they clean in the morning and that's all now ;)
Oo that's good to know. Thank you! Id definitely prefer a cheaper cruise with a room cleaned only once. If I could pick that as an option to save some £££ I would 😂👍🏼
I always choose MSC😍 I went 2 times already one on The MSC SPLENDIDA & MSC MERAVIGLIA and i shall return again on the MSC MERAVIGLIA ❤ next september to FJORDS NORWAY🤗 Looking forward 🛳🚢 Have you ever been in Norway Fjords?🙂 Thanks for sharing with us your experience👌👍😁x
Hey! Thanks for your comment. I love Meraviglia, I've been on her twice (glad you're going back too!). I have been on the Fjords with Viking and P&O. Absolutely incredible! Have a brilliant time 😂👍🏼 Have you ever been to the Fjords before?!
Great video - will definitely check out your other videos. I've sailed both but stretched out over years. We are off on MSC Sinfonia next weekend and then I'm heading for a short Costa cruise with my son the week after. Will be cool to compare the two in such a short timeframe,
Emma Cruises Eastern Caribbean. San Juan Puerto Rico St. Thomas US Virgin Islands Saint Martin and Nassau Bahamas. I really would love to have you stateside one day.
Well costa wants you to experience Italians Finest... and it all starts with Buon Giorno!.. i love costa! Not because i work on this company. But because we crew are well taking care off. Sadly this pandemic is happening. And i have to cuange my plan soon.. Bartender here..! Hows your Last Caipirinha or Bahama mama? 😀
So grateful to have found this video. We are going on our first Costa Cruise. The Luminosa is coming transatlantic and will be here on Dec 12th at Port Everglades (Ft Lauderdale) The ship will stay here til March 5th 2020 and then go back home So anyone looking for a cruise to go back to Italy check it out. Anyway Emma you helped my worries when you opened the mini bar and I saw a pepsi. My husband is diabetic and drinks several cokes. I imagine I will get him a package but I don't drink nearly as much. Do they serve hot tea or ice tea in the buffet? All I have heard is serving water. Also what do they serve for breakfast in hot tea or juices? Do you have to pay for those too? I am probably asking dumb questions but I have never been on a ship yet that you could not get hot water and a tea bag. I don't drink coffee so I usually drink tea hot or cold and water and maybe one cola a day. Thank you for any help you can give me. We went on a MSC cruise once (my travel agent tells me I am not faithful to one cruise line) The Devinia. It was actually quite lovely and reminded me of being on a Holland Cruise Line. Again sorry for the length but thank you for doing this.
Is there a lifeboat conveniently placed and packed for the captain to "fall into by accident"? lol. Costa now means "schettino" but you are putting a positive light on the Costa line.
Never cruised with MSC but have with Costa. Worst experience in 20 years cruising. Too many things to go into but so bad that when the ship arrived in Mallorca after five days walked off and got a plane home. Really.
I am an American getting ready to take my first Costa cruise which is a 17 day repositioning cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Savona Italy. I will be cruising alone. Im nervous about the language barrier, about the culture barrier, and about going solo, but I'll let you know how it goes.
Yea please do! I find it easier to make friends when not everybody speaks English, you'll instantly have something in common with people who do! Go with an open mind and you'll have a great time 🥰♥️
I always cruise with ,,Costa'' actually atleast 2 cruises in year but one time i cruised with ,,MSC'' it was terrible food was disguisting it was very cold in the ship rooms weren't cleaned every day and you neded to go and complain about that it was terrible soo yeah but maybe now they are btter....
were orvieto, assisi, siena, padova, ravenna, offered ? plitvice lakes park was offered from port zadar. so 95-150€ range price for excursions. interesting hop on hop off approach to cruising
how were excursion prices, choices, .... wondering if any river cruises visit madrid, munich, leipzig, halle, zwickau, eisenach, bergamo, busseto, pesaro, cremona, lucca, catania, florence.....have you ever done guadalquivir, loire, elbe, main rivers? or ganges, mekong, .....
I haven't been on either MSC or Costa so it was nice to learn about both in "one sitting". I like to eat but I'm not so sure I want to be eating dinner for 3 hours and not to have a late night snack option at the buffet which would be closed on Costa. Good things to know! How are these cruise lines for children? Any idea? My daughter is 11. Will there be much for her to do on either of these cruise lines?
Hey! They both seem like great lines for kids. I don't know too much about the Costa things for kids but on the MSC Meraviglia they have a huge huge huge part of the ship for kids, lots of kids clubs etc. Definitely won't be bored on either, loads going on 😁👍🏼
Hi Emma, I am looking at a Med Cruise next May. Surprised to find that a Costa cruise was not really cheap, actually MSC is cheaper. A four night Costa cruise from Venice, May 24th, starts at $1139. not counting their mandatory gratuities. Could Costa be charging higher fares depending on the market you are booking from??? Thank you!
In my opinion, the price here “talks” Msc is more expensive than Costa. Just for this fact, Msc will take a lot more care of the detail and moments than Costa. As I said in other videos I had an amazing experience in the MSC SEAVIEW and horrible experience in the Costa Diadema… Details, attention to the client, entertainment… MSC BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahh yep! It's certainly a 'you get what you pay for' situation. Paid for very little with Costa, honestly impressed there was any food at all! Haha. Both great cruises though. 😁👍🏼
Emma Cruises Yeah I’m thinking on give them another opportunity with the Costa Smeralda/ Venezia. Ik sure that if they porque ah up a little bit the prices, the company will get better. I’m a big fan of MSC too!!!!!!!!! Great video!
Cruise is not for old people but ritch. What do you prefer Costa or Msc? I had a cruise with MSc musica and Costa Concordia long time ago. I preferred Msc but Costa is more cheap!
Great video, Emma. You look fab with short hair. It was interesting that Costa charged you for tap water. I don't remember that on our Costa cruise but we went out of Florida. That would make me angry. Tap water and ice should be free.
Thanks so much! I'm liking having my hair this length actually. Maybe the water is free out of the US, but not in Europe. I'm not sure what a Costa cruise from the US would be like actually! I'd love to try.
Costa belong to Carnival and I never cruised with them but recentely I cruised with Princess and Holland America line they belong to Carnival to like Costa.
Yep! It's funny there are only a few companies really. They just own a lot haha. I've just booked a cruise with Celestyal and they're owned by Carnival too 🥳👍🏼
@@Ahuntsicspotter Fabulous! Glad to hear it. I've just published a new RUclips video, make sure you check that one out! :D You could be the first comment ;)
Hello Emma, Great help in your videos. Question about getting on board with MSC at different ports? You said you can get on any port, but when I am searching for one it always leaves from (example) Venice a comes back to Venice.....did that change or can you get on in a different port and stay only part of the sailing and be charged for only days you stay ? It doesn't seem to give me that option on their website when booking ? Maybe no longer like that. Thank you for your input. I love the way you do your videos very informative! Great job !
Hey Gabriela, that's strange! I've only ever paid for the bit I've used. Maybe they've changed it slightly... Usually the Mediterranean cruises are the most flexible 🤔
Great video! Thanks. We went on MSC from NYC to Fort Lauderdale in October and it was good! The things we noted that surprised us was that there were no tissues provided in the cabin and that there was no 1/2 and 1/2 or cream for the coffee. We missed those two things and would definitely take those things on any future MSC cruise we go on. So, now we are booked on a Costa cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Venice in March, 2020. Can anyone tell me if Costa provides creamer for coffee? Are tissues provided in the cabin? Thanks so much.
Ooo that's an interesting one. Based on my Costa cruise I'd very much doubt it, almost nothing is included in a Costa cruise (but it's so cheap so not sure I can complain) ha ha. ❤️
i enjoy table sharing, get to make acquaintances.... english speakers are spoiled, how many teochew, shanghainese, nanchang, shuangfoung, changsha, hakka, toisan, wenzhou, hokchiu speaking comapnies do you know?
Emma, it sounds as if MSC is definitely a step up from Costa, would you agree with that? I know your recent experience with Celebrity wasn't a typical one and I hope you get to go back again and do a proper cruise with Celebrity because they are awesome but, if you were asked to compare Costa with a line like Celebrity, what would you say?
Absolutely worlds apart. Not sure I could compare them at all apart from the differences between Italian and US cruise lines mentioned here 👉🏼👉🏼 www.cruisingisntjustforoldpeople.co.uk/msc-and-ncl-royal-caribbean hope this helps! 😁🙌 Thank you for commenting.
Hiya! I'm thinking about moving countries in a cruise, because o have cats and I think they'd fare better with staying with us during these days, rather than going to the stress of travelling in an airplane you know? That being said, I haven't seen anywhere, anything about pets (being allowed or not). Obviously I'd keep them restricted to my room, but I was wondering if you know anything about it, perhaps some tips? Thank youuuu :)x
Hey Skyy, they allow dogs on Cunard transatlantic cruises but I don't think any cruise lines allow cats. Sorry! It would be the best way to travel but I suppose they might be able to get out and run off... Haha.
excursion information? msc royal, princess, offer milano as excursion also oslo. costa offers cordoba or granada, seville, florence, vatican rome, hamburg, mont st michel, klaipeda riga, amsterdam, brussels, paris, london, costa does not offer oslo or milano , copenhagen stockholm helsinki also.
Very good comparison of the 2 cruise lines. I’ve been on costa 1 time and to Italy lots and the reason there’s no pizza 🍕 is because in Italy pizza is not made with sauce but with tomatoes 🍅 and cheese 🧀 and since they cater to Italians they would complain. You should do a group cruise, I know I would go.
You mention matching cruise status, but not how to do it. I tried searching on MSC cruise site, but no meaningful instructions. Help. It seems like it might be too late if I just take an old RCCL cruise card with me to my first MSC cruise.

As for ice cream, I never saw it at buffet, in Costa or MSC... always to be bought... which MSC did you take? I tried Meraviglia... which is not necessarily the best...
@@EmmaCruises I was not completely happy with Meraviglia, too noisy, not enough room for bars, but I have not taken other MSC... (as for the moment I give priority to Costa) - but I would like to try the one who did the World Tour this year as I try the Costa who has done the Costa World Tour.
Hi there thank you for this video. I’m going on a Costa cruise next year and was wondering what are the times of the dinner sittings? We are doing the second sitting and hoping it’s not too late. Many thanks
On the Costa cruise I was a few days ago, the second time started at 20:30 so 8:30 pm and I think if you like staying awake a little more it's completely nice.
My family and I (kids and grandparents included) have been very interested in taking an MSC cruise (we've been on Carnival, Princess, Holland and RC) but I've been SO reluctant because reviews have not been great. And the different "experience/services"... I am not used to. But after this vlog, it's given me hope that is not that bad! Are you allowed to bring water bottles on MSC like other cruise lines? Any advise on which experience to book? Thanks!!
Hey Natalie! You're not officially allowed to bring any drinks onboard. A couple in your bag would be okay but if you tried to bring a big crate don't think they'd be okay with that. MSC definitely isn't bad, it's a different experience from the American lines though. I usually go with the cheapest grade, it really doesn't make much difference... This post should help 😁👍🏼 cruisingisntjustforoldpeople.com/msc-and-ncl-royal-caribbean/ Thanks for your comment 😁👍🏼

Costa is the best.... I hv worked in both cruises. First Costa n den msc.
Costa is like a family 👍👌
Used to work for Costa 10+ years ago (before the Costa accident) the Master Drill was exactly as described. I think it is slightly more "realistic" and, during the Drill, personnel would check the general state of your lifejacket and replace any sub-par ones.
Agreed! Not much fun though 😂❤️

Great information as always Emma. I have been considering these two companies but never realised there so many differences. Thanks
I have had eight Costa cruises and three MSC, MSC the cabins were much smaller, and yes the evening meal was MSC three courses Costa seven courses and a couple of hours
Yes MSC is mostly English speaking though I prefer to be a minority English speaking on a majority Italian speaking ship, Much more like a foreign holiday than a week in Blackpool :-)
How was your experience wuth costa?
You are the best. I value your comments very much.
Great vlog! I cruised Casta to the Caribbean about 15 years ago and I loved it but that was my only Cruise so I don't remember it very well since I've gone on 20 other ones since then. I went on the MSC meraviglia in February and I loved that.
Ooo wow! You have cruised a lot. Would you like to try Costa again? 😁👍🏼
@@EmmaCruises Oh yes I would love to try Costa again. I like all of the cruise lines for different reasons. If they were all alike I think I would get bored. So I'm not one of those people who sticks to one particular Cruise Line. Have you ever cruised from Dubai?
@@aimeerogers4542 I haven't! It seems to be increasingly popular though so many I will one day. I like trying different lines too! 😁👍🏼
The BPL Grand Classica, is now Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.
Costa is not Italian anymore, MSC it is. I'm going to my first cruise with MSC in September and I'm glad I chose it, thanks for sharing your thoughts (I'm Italian I speak English, German, Spanish and French).❤
I have been on five cruises with msc loved them
I found this really interesting Emma!
Ooo! Yes yes, so much food. Thanks for your comment! 😎💕
Haha, it varies so much even within the cruise lines. A tricky one to describe! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
hey emma if you want to know what how costa cruise line is just look up cruise ship diries on you tube and you will find out about costa cruises and how they operate
Hey Joel! That sounds interesting I haven't seen those. Thanks for your comment 😁👍🏼
Thanks for this video, watched it like half a year ago, I'm on Grandiosa rn and I think I saw you on breakfast 😀
🤣🤣🤣
Perfect video on all types of cruising, not knowing what itineraries you're going to ports of call. Most likely will be changed, which in itself is very nerve-racking and the uncertainty. Per the hotel stay before and after with travel insurance very important. I'm getting on Costa Smeralda March 9th cross fingers
naples is offered with palace caserta, lisbon offers pena palace sintra although these are easy enough to reach from port. edinburgh glasgow dublin....
I have been on a costa cruise
Great info, THANKS!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I traveled with costa diadema and msc espléndida both very nice
I do not think I would enjoy Costa as a first cruise. I cannot wait to try MSC.
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
We are taking our first cruise and your videos have been so helpful! THANK YOU!!!
Awh thank you Karey. This is a lovely comment to get 😊💕 I hope you have a super time!
Great video, Emma. I have never been on a Costa Cruise. Actually our travelagency didnt recommend it, when we wanted to cruise for the first time ind 2011. Since then we have been on the MSC Orchestra, Poesia, Magnifica and Preziosa. In june we are going on our honeymoon on the Meraviglia, and by looking on your earlier videoes, we are in for a treat :-)
Nice to se a video, that compares specially those two cruiselines.
if you are on an excursion day you should plan on a late supper time, since it takes three hours from port to city and three hours back, so....
msc is one of few cruise lines, along with royal, princess , (?), that offers excursions to milano, and one of these also offers oslo.
Great video. Now i'm on the new MSC BELLISSIMA. It's amazing
Thanks Gabriele! Hope your heaving a super time 🥳👍🏼
thank you for the comparison!
i remember i was in primary school and the fire alarm went off in a lesson and honestly back then i would be hard to deal with but then just randomly the muster siren goes off?

There were always pizzas at lunchtime at the buffet... on all the three cruises I made on Costa...
Not on mine! I hunted 😂👍🏼
@@EmmaCruises it seems that the Luminosa is not as other Costa Ship ;)
Never cruised with MSC but have with Costa. Worst experience in 20 years cruising. Too many things to go into but so bad that when the ship arrived in Mallorca after five days walked off and got a plane home. Really.
Oh blimey!
Great review! I enjoyed your views and opinions. I've sailed MSC four times and have never sailed with Costa. Very interesting - thanks!
Thanks so much! This is a lovely comment. Appreciate it! 💕👍🏼
Where do you book your cruise? Directly through Costa or through agency?
I went on msc but I’m going on coasta and I’m not expecting it to be better then msc
Go with an open mind and you'll have a great time 🥰♥️
Worst Cruise Lines in d world.
MSC is very good
Which ships have you cruised on? 😁👍🏼
were orvieto, assisi, siena, padova, ravenna, offered ? plitvice lakes park was offered from port zadar. so 95-150€ range price for excursions. interesting hop on hop off approach to cruising
On Costa, breakfasts are until 11h30 (late breakfast) and buffet in the evening until 10... But that not as much as on MSC or NCL...
Sometimes there wasn't a late breakfast on Luminosa and it closed at 10 👎🏼💕
@@EmmaCruises ok, actually I am not been on the Luminosa yet (it should be done this October)

Definitely won't be bored on either, loads going on 😁👍🏼
Thanks for the info! Now to decide if we hop on MSC in Miami (a short 5 hour drive from home) or fly to Italy to take a "cheaper" Costa cruise ...
Thank you!
In my opinion, the price here “talks”
Msc is more expensive than Costa. Just for this fact, Msc will take a lot more care of the detail and moments than Costa. As I said in other videos I had an amazing experience in the MSC SEAVIEW and horrible experience in the Costa Diadema… Details, attention to the client, entertainment…
MSC BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
I they push up the prices*

I dont know abou mcs but costa toscana i will never book again
Great video, Emma. You look fab with short hair. It was interesting that Costa charged you for tap water. I don't remember that on our Costa cruise but we went out of Florida. That would make me angry. Tap water and ice should be free.
Thanks so much! I'm liking having my hair this length actually. Maybe the water is free out of the US, but not in Europe. I'm not sure what a Costa cruise from the US would be like actually! I'd love to try.
do any river or ocean excursions offer albi as a destination?
Doing our first Costa on December 14 out of Venice, no tap water!!! NO Pizza? That is nuts :(

So where not ganna talk about the costa Concordia accident???
Fabulous comparison. Never having cruised on either line I really loved your details about their differences.
Thank you! I think it's important to get as much info as you can before picking a cruise. Would you try Costa? I had a great time (such a bargain!)

Hiya! I'm thinking about moving countries in a cruise, because o have cats and I think they'd fare better with staying with us during these days, rather than going to the stress of travelling in an airplane you know?
